Highly impressed with the service!Just a heads up: Pay with cash or check. Do not pay with a card. The 3.5-4% card fee can be quite expensive. For me, it was about $24, which was quite distressing since Im trying to raise a child on a part-time salary. But the owner was so kind and graciously reimbursed my fee out of his own pocket. So please consider using cash or check for ALL small businesses, since card companies prey on these businesses with their hefty fees. And why incur a fee when you could just take a minute to write a check for free?On another note: A+ service. They were able to take my car same-day, unlike three other auto shops that I had previously called. Then they ordered the part that I needed and did a complicated installation in just two business days! So grateful for Downtown Auto Care!

My sister and I were on a road trip and about to drive out into the desert when our car started overheating for seemingly no reason. Dave took a look at it right away. He suggested a restaurant for breakfast while we waited. He called a couple of hours later letting us know he fixed the problem and that he would feel comfortable sending his own daughters out on the road. Extremely good service, fast, reliable, and kind workers.

They have maintained and replaced tires, battery, radiators, belts, headlight, taillights and just now brakes and never overcharged or neglected what was needed. We where traveling on vacation and broke down on the freeway. We where towed into Downtown Auto Care for repair. It was the beginning of a holiday weekend. Dave was very friendly and reassuring. He took a look at the car ordered the part and said it could be fixed that day. He advised us of a place to get a bite to eat and how long the repair would take. I cant tell you how many times I have taken a vehicle into Downtown Auto thinking I needed something done only to have them tell me it didnt need to be done yet! They are the most honest, upfront auto repair shop I know! 100% satisfied!

When that dreaded visit to a mechanic shop occurs, the last thing you want is to get to the counter and have a rude, unprofessional, or uninterested person helping you out. You WONT get that here. everyone is polite, helpful, and most off all knowledgeable. Prices are fair and the work is done right. As a frequent visitor (i have a lot of cars ive neglected over the years), i appreciate having a shop like this in town.

Very kind and honest people!This is a very long overdue review, but years ago my car broke down for the 2nd time on the way home from nevada and rolled down the freeway exit right in front of this shop.it was late and passed closing time, and I was a girl alone with a broken down car.A man working late pushed my car into the shop and charged my battery, and worked on my car the best he could to get me home safe. Both my family and I are very grateful and we owe him for his kindness
