Got a good haircut but barbers did not wear a mask

The baddest barber I saw in my life,He damaged my hair (see my attached photos),He didnt wear the mask Covid 19,the shop was dirty,I dont know how the city gave him license and the best barber in Beaufort, SC.

Ray and his brother Johnny are pillars of what Beaufort used to be. Ray has cut my hair for nearly 50 be years. Cant say enough good things.

Accepted a walk in. Was friendly and helpful came in for a beard trim. Harvey cleaned me up made sure it was even and neat. At very little cost i shall be back again would recommend to everyone

Great experience, excellent barber. Received a straight razor cut for my head and face. True old style barbershop. Both the shop and the cut seem to be a forgotten art in the country. Not here, great experience and I highly recommend this place.

Moved to Beaufort 3 months ago and finally needed to get a haircut. I Googled best barbers in Beaufort, SC and Harveys was the highest rated and the most convenient. I called and John told me to come on over. It was quick, courteous, and enjoyable. I look forward to going back which says a lot!!

Called for a last minute haircut while I was in Beaufort. Mr. Harvey answered the phone and told me to come straight in. Fast service, line where faded was even and neat. Very attentive to detail. Definitely would recommend.

Hands down the best barbershop I have ever been too. Anyone that complains about this place need to go to a salon where they ask you what number guard you want. I take both my sons there as 4th generation Harvey customers. This place is truly a Beaufort institution and anybody that says otherwise can move back to wherever they came from.

I love going to Harveys. Its like a barber shop should be. Like Mayberry. Wanna come in and chat? Fine. Read a book or the paper? Good. Watch a little TV with friends? Great. Or just watch people pass by the window. Its all there. A friendly place to hang your hat and slow down for a while. Oh yes, and you can get your hair cut too. Just had mine cut today and Johnny did a heck of a job. See you all there soon, I hope.

This place had that old timey feel, but its really just run down. There was hair all over the sinks and clippers. The barber I had did not give me the haircut I asked for, he was hesitant to do anything. I told him twice to shorten up the front. To say they do razor shaves is an understatement, the barber barely shaved anything off the back and sides. Dont recommend coming here.

Friendly but old, dingy and out of touch. Barber cut my sons hair poorly and seemed aloof regarding contemporary styles. And in the end it was $17 for kids haircut. If you find another option, take it. unless you want to step back about a half century.

I went in on a Monday morning so there was no wait. They were friendly. I asked for a military haircut and least to say it was not the best one Ive had around here, especially for $17. The guy who cut my hair shook a lot and would pull on my hair with the clippers. After I left, I noticed I had uneven patches on the back of my head. I would not recommend to military members.

These guys are great....very skilled, and a fun conversation.....and the cheapest haircut in town !
