I am so grateful for the classes that Lauren provides, especially the educational ones. I attended a Pelvic Floor Health class that featured an occupational therapist. I have had 3 babies, so pelvic floor health is a mystery to me, but also really important for any woman or mans body. Its not taught a lot, or discussed by doctors. This occupational therapist answered questions from the group, and some of my own, and sent me on a path of recovery for my SI Joint and overall pelvic floor health. Grateful to have beBhakti Yoga Center and Lauren in Beacon.

Attending classes at beBhakti always leaves me feeling so full and warm. I absolutely love this studio and all it has to offer. Each instructor brings their own elements into class, and each class feels very well thought out and fresh. The owner, Lauren is such a positive, welcoming, knowledgeable teacher, and she has put something truly special together. I love her adult classes, they are fun, challenging, and thoughtful. My niece loves the kids classes too, which is especially magical, since its rare to find a class for her young age range.

My friends and I took a class with Lauren on a recent weekend trip to the area and beBhakti was one of the highlights of our visit. Lauren was so warm and knowledgeable and brought humor and thoughtfulness to our flow. We had a wide range of experience with yoga - from complete beginners to long time students - and Lauren created a class that worked for each of us. Plus, her singing voice is beautiful and the experience of beginning and closing with a mantra always moves me to tears.

I love the candlelit restorative yoga class on Wednesday nights! It is the perfect mid-week reset. I always look forward to attending.

My 5 girlfriends and I planned a mom’s retreat to Beacon and were looking for a yoga class to help us kick off the weekend. I emailed Lauren to see if she would accommodate us with a private class focused on relaxation and rejuvenation. She was responsive and so accommodating. The class was perfect for our group of completely mixed level yogis. It was so wonderful, interactive and fun. It was exactly what we needed and we left feeling like a million bucks!! I would highly recommend it!!

Ive been to five classes in the past month with three different instructors. Each one has been excellent! Id highly recommend this place for a student of any level. The space is very welcoming and has all the qualities I could hope for in a yoga studio. Parking is very easy and convenient to all the things Beacons main street has to offer.

I recently moved to the area from Brooklyn and I was thrilled to find Lauren and her beautiful beBahkti studio after trying another place that wasn’t right for me. Truthfully it’s my favorite yoga studio ever. Lauren is an incredibly gifted and creative teacher and human being. Her dedication and personal devotion to the practice is felt through her classes. She teaches with love, humor, grace, honesty, and without pretension. There is always a challenge and there is always a gift. I’m always happily surprised with what a class holds and I always get something that I need from it, whether I knew I needed it or not. Although Lauren’s class times are generally better for my schedule, I’ve also taken classes with a few of the other teachers and have been very impressed with them too. They have all been lovely and unique in their styles. In addition, there are great offerings for workshops and other events. beBhakti is a such a open, warm, and welcoming place - wish I had the time to go every day! Thank you!

Ive been going to beBhakti since they opened in Beacon, and found the yoga home I was looking for right away. Lauren is an incredible teacher who creates a warm, supportive, spiritual space. I absolutely love this studio. They offer a variety of different classes so there is something for everyone. Personally, I love Laurens vinyasa class! The harmonium and chanting brings a spiritual element to the class which is then applied to the asanas! She calls everyone by name and really helps with each individuals alignment and offers adjustments, all of which me help me to feel very welcome in class. Im excited to try the mommy and me class with my 2 year old!

The Bhakti Vinyasa Flow class with Lauren Magarelli is definitely my favorite yoga class in the area. Wonderful welcoming studio!

I did my 200 hr training with Lauren and Betsy at Bhakti Barn in Millburn, NJ, prior to Lauren starting her new studio up in Beacon. Even though I have not had the chance of making it up to Laurens new studio, I can only imagine this space being as amazing as she is! I love this studio and am so psyched it came to Beacon. The space is inviting, the instructors are awesome, and theres really something for everyone. My husband has gone to the restorative class, my 4-year-old to the kids class, and Ive gone to the Bhakti Ma with my baby. Ive been doing yoga for 15 years but never with the regularity that I do now that BeBhakti is in my life!

My understanding is that beBhakti Yoga Center was something Lauren Magarelli hoped and planned for for many years before actually opening the doors for business. The result is a well thought out place that oozes love and warmth. The building is spacious, colorful and unique and Lauren readily shares stories about its preparation and the hard work put into it by herself, her husband, and their relatives and friends. Lauren has a beautiful voice and she regularly chants at the start and end of class. She explains the chants and links them to a class theme that slowly reveals itself as the class unfolds. Each class is a unique and powerful experience.Ive been practicing yoga for many years in many different studios. At beBhakti Ive found something more and I am thrilled that it is in my beloved hometown.Lauren is not the only teacher at beBhakti. She has somehow managed to offer classes with a few of my favorite hudson valley teachers as well as a few new ones that are also great.
