My experience today at Royal Dental in Baytown, TX was wonderful! From the front office staff, doctor, the assistant and finance personnel was so helpful. I appreciate them all!

I had a great experience they got me in and out in a timely fashion the front desk was a lot of help with setting appointment the women was very respectful and patient with me also the doctor was great and helpful with explaining everything

This is the worse organized dental place ....Ive ever experienced ...from DAY 1 ...I had a appointment for a procedure ...they call me on the day Im traveling 60 miles to go too my visit and said we never heard back from my insurance...That was a lie they never submitted it ...They could not even call too verify ...they just let me too travel nearly the whole way on the day of my visit then proceeded too call me 2 hours before my procedure.....oh and they always put you on hold ...for long periods of time ...I DO NOT RECCOMEND THEM.....😡 BIG 0

This place really needs professional help. When you go there they dont know what youre going for. Who ever is in charge there needs to tighten up the staff. I lost a half of a work day to get there. They had me waiting for an hour after my appointment time. When they finally called me to the back was to tell me that whatever part needed for my procedure was not ordered. And that I had to come back another day. So Im going to lose another half day of work. Unbelievable. At this point I just want my 6k back. Im giving it 1 star because there is nothing less. Really disappointed patient.

My son is now 13 years old, we’ve been coming to Royal Dental in Baytown Tx since he was 7 months old. I’ve never experienced a bad time here everyone is also so friendly. Sometimes it gets backed up and the wait might take a little longer but your in and out quickly. They treat you like family.

This office is a joke. Don’t expect them to answer the phones and when they do your on hold for 20 minutes. I’ve had to take off of work on two separate occasions and still have yet to get anything accomplished. The ladies are not helpful at all. Not a happy smile here!!!

I’ve been seen in Royal Dental for many years and the service has been always excellent. The office staff has always been courteous to me. The Doctors I’ve seen thru out the years are dedicated and always have been taken good care of me and my needs.

The workers there are very nice and professional. The problem that I have with Royal Dental Baytown is that When you call during office time they never answer the phones. The office hours are Friday’s 8:00 am to 5pm. Recordings are still on way after 8:00. I can never get them To answer. This happened many times. They don’t call to let you know that appointment has been canceled.I had an appointment on Thursday, everything went well. There is a new manager there, I think her name is Ms. Sharon. I spoke with her, she was very knowledgeable about my entire process of my past and present service at Royal Dental. I did speak with her about my concerns that I had on the last couple of visits at the office. Everyone is very nice and friendly there. I look forward to changes at the appointment level.

It was my first time there and they were all super friendly. The wait was a little inconvient but everything else went great. Very thorough and informative. Definitely will go back.

I feel like they are trying to take advantage of my mom. She has insurance and still ask her for money. They schedule appointments and took over an hour to see her. Made her an appointment with an oral surgeon at another location and got there and they know nothing of it. I am calling her insurance to find somewhere else

I was apprehensive about scheduling an appointment due to COVID -19. However, the staff accommodated my request to wait a few more weeks after reopening for my appointment. I felt comfortable while visiting this location. They are following CDC Guidelines while maintaining social distances within the lobby.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE They have fees. $5 fee for sanitation of every visitor and every visit. They say (since covid hit) which everything should be sanitized already in my opinion. The office staff is rude and dont listen to your issues. I schedule a removal over the phone and whenever I get there I wait for an hour to be seen. Then im called back for under 5 mins they scan my teeth and the doctor is rude im telling him which teeth are hurting and he takes his little mirror and bangs it against my tooth and tells me see its this one .. like I already didnt know which one it is was. They are quick to get me out of the chair. and then make me wait for an additional 30 mins to speak to the consultation person thats suppose to help me find a surgeon.. whos kept changing the prices. STAY AWAY FROM THIS place

My experience there is wonderful seeing them since I was a child and their service is awesome.

If I didn’t have to leave at least one star id give this place 0!Had a appointment for 10:30am wasn’t even called back till 12 at which point my 2 year old and myself had been sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours since I was told to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork.Once I was called back I was told my child couldn’t be in the room and was asked if I had someone that could watch her. At which I was left speechless being I just sat in the office for 2 hours and not once was told my child couldn’t be there.Not only that the lady in the front with the white lab coat on was very rude and unprofessional!After 2 hours of waiting around my toddler got antsy and was playing with my keys near the door at which time she said “mom she’s tearing up our door” (THE TENT ON THE WINDOW WAS PEELING AND PULLED OFF WHEN WE GOT THERE)!I informed her of that as well. This place is disgusting! The floors are nasty, very outdated building and the staff didn’t seem to enjoy being there. Multiple people said they had been sitting for 1-3 hours. Sadly I walked out and requested the corporate number. This place shouldn’t be in business!

The hygienist was AMAZING ! I Didn’t Know There Was Two?! She was Very sweet and On time. I Loved how Clean the office was and how polite Everyone WasGreat Job Royal Dental. I’ve been to A couple of Different locations but I have to Say Baytown is by Far the Best :)

Friendly and thorough service

I showed up for my first appointment and apparently I didn’t have an appointment scheduled. I was a little bit aggravated, but I understand mistakes happen so I just brushed it off and scheduled another appointment. I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment time to fill out paper work. I waited nearly TWO HOURS PAST my appointment time to be seen! At the end of the visit, I scheduled my next appointment. I arrived on the day of my next appointment (after receiving several txt messages confirming my appointment) and the office was closed. I tried to call but was forwarded to a different location as an answering service. The office/service that My call was forwarded to had no information other than “I think that office is closed today.” The dentist, hygienist, and dental assistant were all wonderful. While very friendly and knowledgeable, the office staff seems to be incompetent when it comes to scheduling appointments and keeping things running smoothly!

I came as a walk in and they was extremely nice and helpful!the nice lady in the front took her time with me since i was in so much pain.she help look for my insurance and explained i didnt know . Ive been in bay-town for over 26 years and by far best customer service i ever dealt with! keep up the great work

My visit was great and the staff was kind

Shanika (not sure of spelling) was friendly and knowledgeable both over the phone and in person. Nancy was very kind and personable, and Cindy was very nice as well. Everyone I encountered (the Dentist as well) was super friendly and seemed to be in good spirits even though it was the end of the work day and it sounded like they had to stay late with another client. The only downside was wait time, I believe I was finally called back 35ish minutes after my scheduled appointment time, and then sat around waiting in the back for what seemed like 10-15 mins longer, I didn’t take a star off because they take walk ins and emergencies and I hope that it meant they were treating someone extra kindly and giving them the time that they needed to have proper treatment.

I got my first denture fitting ,& I was in shock! First time I could smile in 10 yrs! Dr. Victor is amazing what he does! Pure perfection, & explains everything!!! Takes time w/ you, & makes you feel comfortable! The staff is incredibly nice, & care for me! Like I said before, you need dental work, look no further! I’m living proof!!! They do it all there, & will take care of you!

Best dentist in the area. I’ve used them for over 20 years. They will do what they can to get you in at a time that’s best for you, get a price right for you and get your work done. Whether it be a planned appointment or last minute, they will get you taken care of.

Due to the whether I had to reschedule Both My kids appointment. I was surprised that the office was open . The lady Syerice took my Call and was Extremely polite and apologetic and got my kids rescheduled very quickly. I love this office.

Customer service was excellent! The front desk receptionist Syerice was beyond helpful and very polite. The dental assistants and dentists are very prompt and patient. I highly recommended royal dental for all your dental needs.

Don’t waste your time. They chRge you for numbing, wanted to do 4 bone grafts on all wisdom teeth extractions, and then I was on hold for 23 minutes (not even exaggerating) just to talk to someone! Corporate dentistry at its finest. Go to a private office please.

Have had nothing but good experiences here. From deep cleaning, root canals, and teeth pulled everyone had been so caring and professional and very little pain. Don’t dread going to the dentist anymore.

Worst place! Never have I been to such a terrible dentistry (or anywhere for that matter).They charged me for work I never got done and hasnt given a refund. Its been more then a month! Im calling a lawyer next!

We had an 11 oclock appointment, seen at 12:20. Seen for 10 minutes and had to wait more. So angry. So angry. One of my less enjoyable visits ever in a dentist office.They are a kind staff. Just so so so very very very slow. Nothing is done yet at 1 oclock.

0 starts actually. My toddler has been here two times and both times I’ve had to wait a little over an hour after his scheduled appointment to be seen. The first time, I was trying to be considerate and just let it slide. The second time, same thing.. then wait another 20 minutes for the dentist to come in to only “brush his teeth,” give him a tooth paste and put fluoride. That alone took about 15-20 minutes maybe less but waiting over an hour.. Today would have been his 3rd appointment but I canceled after already waiting 35 minutes because who knew how much longer I would be waiting. There was no other patient ahead of him but the receptionist told me they were waiting to see if there was a room ready/available which made no sense. The staff is kind don’t get me wrong but like I said don’t waist your time.

I am a new patient and never been but totally agree that they are rude just by talking to them over the phone. Which is why I didnt go. If you went there and had a good experience, then great for you! But they absolutely will not be getting my money! For the ladies at the front desk, dont keep your day job because you suck at it! I immediately called Jefferson Dental and they accept walk-ins/emergency visits and theyll see you as soon as you make the appointment! The same day!! Just based on customer service give your money to Jefferson Dental!! The receptionist was nice and knowledgeable! My appointment was with Royal today but instead Im going to Jefferson Dental TODAY to try them out for the first time. Ill be back with an update!!!

I was a very last min walk in on a Friday, they seen my issue, took me to the back within 10 min, worked on me, so very kind, gentle, explained what he was doing as he was doing, what to expect. Dr. Bob. very happy, Whitney_V

Been a patient at Royal Dental for the past 2 years, never had a problem with any of the staff. They are very friendly, and fast working. They know what they are doing, if you want a fast and friendly dentist this is the one for you!

I love this place , I have more than 1 year with Royal Dental in Baytown, the atmosphere and attention is excellent with all the staff. the appointments are very flexible .The Orthodontics is very professional , and knowledge with the treatment of my little one.

I was very disappointed in my visit on 03/07/2018. I had an appointment at 9 am, I showed up on time second one in line to sign in. My daughter is a returning patient so no paper work needed to be filled and my insurance was verified. There were about 4 families after me that walked in. 10 am rolls around and I decided to see how much longer it would be before I see a dentist beings that my appointment was at 9am. I ask Taylor the receptionist how much longer, she tells me about 30 more minutes. I than ask her “how come every family after me was called in and I’m still currently waiting?” (while two of those families had to update paperwork) she looks at me with a annoyed look on her face no smile and says in a rude tone “ well did you fill out paperwork?” I told her “no all my stuff was done and verified” she than says “well I don’t know just take a seat and wait your turn” and than turns around and whispers something to the lady next to her and they start to laugh. If that’s the kind of service you train for hire than I am most definitely transferring my daughter.

This office is very unprofessional. Royal dental has scheduled two 8 am appointment for my daughter and each time their office is not opened until after 8. This a business. If your office clearly states office hours 8:00 - 5:00, you should open them accordingly or adjust your time to accommodate your staff who has a hard time opening on time.

Is there a below one rating. Seriously, I paid on March 27th and my appt was for April 25th, did we stay for my appointment? No, because after an hour in the waiting room with no clear indication of when my husband was going back, we asked for a refund. I have called repeatedly and left messages at the office and the corporate office, with no response until today, from the office manager who states I have to call and leave another message with the corporate office. This is beyond ridiculous!

I arrived at 9:06am, signed in, and sat down to be called on. Ar this time Im looking around and they have called 3 people to the back,; then till about 9:30 when they called for me to fill out paperwork. After turning in the proper things they needed with my paperwork, they told me to sit down. At which they called about 4 people to the back again. Once I was called to the back all they did was do x-rays. A man came and told me if I had ever considered invisaline-this made me feel super uncomfortable-the reason my teeth are crooked is due to my wisdome teeth growing….. He then proceeded to tell me I have a disease in my gums and so on…. Well long story short they didnt do squat! I literally left at 11:49 with nothing but x-rays done.. Worst service ever. Do not go here

I should have read the reviews before I spent money there. Now they are charging my account without let me know about it for procedures my wife and I have not even gotten done. Caroline lady is giving us the run around about giving my money back that they wrongfully charged to my account. Which is $950.00 !!!! Never again will I go here... stay away

Worst dentist I’ve ever been to. I had an appointment for 3:30 which I took off work early to go to. Got there with plenty of time to fill out the paperwork for being new, but I didn’t actually get called back until 45 mins later. They did all the X-rays and said I would see had he dentist soon, that was another 40 mins. Saw the dentist and all he did was say I should be good to go for a regular cleaning. From there I was told to go back to the waiting room and wait to be called. 10 minutes later they say I have to make a whole new appointment just to get my teeth cleaned! What was the point of making an appointment in the first place? Needless to say I will be finding another dentist.

Still had difficulty to understand that I called in on Friday at 4:46 to tell them no Im not going to be able to keep Mondays appointment ,then today Monday get a text message. The orthodontist sucks. Once i finished paying my braces they hurry to take them off and they didn’t even straighten them like they are supposed too. They gave me retainers and after two appointments said they didn’t need me to come anymore. I asked when am I supposed to wear them at night only, and one orthodontist said after 6 months the other one after a year. Also when i asked why are they getting crooked again they said “because they move”. Don’t get a ortho treatment here it sucks.

I didn’t have to wait long, and they are very concerned with my needs and comfort.

This place has a bad habit of missing appointment times. They ask you to arrive 10 minutes before your appointment, and on a regular basis do not call you in until 30 minutes after your appointed time. I had an appointment for my daughter today. We arrived at 7:50am for her 8am appointment and signed in. They did not call her back until 8:29am. Even when they open at 8am, they are always running behind at the start of the workday, it makes no sense to be behind schedule at the beginning of the day.

I came to get a exam so I could get my teeth cleaned. No biggie. Im also 25 weeks pregnant and they wanted to do xrays!! Seriously! I declined the xrays and they refused to even see my because they said I cant have a cleaning without xrays! Office is trashy chairs ripped half the lights didnt work. Didnt even go to my apt. Just left.

This place is a joke. My wife tried to call one time to confirm an appointment and a paient answered the phone and said who diss, I dont even work here. I should have turned and ran at that point but instead bought upper and lower bridges and after paying almost $20,000 asked for a simple bite adjustment and was told we dont work around your schedule by the manager Sharon. If anyone is to blame for this places unprofessionalism she is the one. Ill be waging a formal complaint against her with corporate TODAY.

#1-VERY crowded seating#2-felt VERY dirty,the girls were putting pills in pill bottles with NO gloves on.#3-theres 10 people working when no one knows what going on.#4-they think that if you have a appointment at 4:00 they think that its 6:00.NEVER in my life i havent seen a dentists office like this one.When i left i didnt know if i should moo or look for a tag in my ear.MY advice is too drive the extra mile to a Way BETTER dental office.

I got my wisdom teeth taken out. Ive been horribly sick. Thet did not stich it up right. They gave me meds that my file said I was allergic to. They lost my file twice. They canceled one appointment and forgot to put another in. Yes the staff is nice but they did terrible work.

Most horrible dentist office I have ever been to. Its a shame, because I decided to try the Royal Dental location in Baytown, because of my positive experience at their Woodforest and Uvalde location several years ago. Its hard to believe this is the same company! They were extremely rude during the whole visit. My appt was at 2pm but I didnt get seen until around 3:15. The dental assistant was the most rude of every employee there. After I sat in the room, patiently waiting for over another hour, the doctor took a quick look at my teeth and said there was nothing they could do for me because their oral specialist doesnt take my insurance. Now, that is all fine and well...but instead of writing me a prescription to at least help with the pain, they referred me to San Jose clinic (a special needs clinic for people with no insurance) and asked me to leave. I was very upset, because this tooth had been giving me great pain. As soon as I got home, I made an appt with Dr. Barfield in Pasadena and they had me set up for the removal within a week and antibiotics and pain pills until then. (They will get another review-they are amazing!) Lets just say, Royal Dental is a horrible, unprofessional, discusting waste of time compared to Dr. Barfields office. PLEASE do not waste your time.
