I love this place! I went to Hana on Saturday for a dip manicure, came back today as some nails started to chip and the top coat was peeling. After a bit of wait as there were other guests and appointments in place, Hana took care of me and did a completely new nail service, and Sara, who I believe is the owner, said the service was on the house. That’s how you bring people back - customer service! Thank you, Sara, Hana, and all the people at Aphrodite. You’ve earned a new regular customer.

Worth the wait. Went to get my nails today as a walk in and the quite was quite long but definitely worth it. Im used to getting my nails in Perth Amboy where they have the BEST nail salons. So Im glad Sarah gave me something to be happy about also. These are my Bridal nails. I will be getting married in a few days. Im very satisfied despite me being so picky with my nails.

I started going there when I was living in Jersey, but then I moved to Brooklyn and I still would go all the way to Bayonne just so Sam could do my nails, I completely trust him with my hands, I am very particular about the shape I like and how they should look, and with Sam I can just come sit and relax, because I know he’s got it. I wish they were closer because it’s not easy to drive that much.

Maria is the best!!! She is so meticulous when shaping your nails and her designs are on point. I happen to stop by once as a walk-in and landed in Maria’s chair and I wouldn’t even think about going anywhere ever again. My nails last over 3 weeks without any lifting. I love my nails every time

I walked in with with the intentions of getting a manicure. I did not want to complain because I trusted the lady, but when the women told me she was done all she did was put a bit of shine on my finger nails. She also left my 80% cuticles in tact.

The staff does a good job and theyre fast.

Has anyone ever counted the nail salons in town? If you did, then you know there are a handful of good ones, this one is consistently great. Sam is my guy, he shapes very well and quick! Always a super busy place which means many share my sentiments. Spa pedicure is a must, enjoy!

This was my first time going to this nail salon. I will definitely be going back when I come to New Jersey to visit. The staff was pleasant through the whole salon. Sarah did my nails and another young lady did my feet. Both were very nice and they did an awesome job. I really enjoyed myself because with this pandemic going on the salon was very clean and each section was separated for each customer and nail tech. I give them 5 stars because they have their salon very clean and sanitized. I hope they keep up the good work 🙂.

15mins to acknowledge that there is a person who entered the store, then 10mins for you to get a place for getting pedicure done. But wait it doesn’t start now, you just put your feet in hot water (if you are lucky, I got cold water) and then the waiting starts until someone at the store notices that you are sitting without being attended.After waiting for 30mins I walked out of the store without service because I had another appointment and didn’t see both manicure and pedicure will be finished with the pace services were done.If you have all the time in the world then this is the place to go.

Evette does a beautiful job on my feet every time I go such a warm and friendly atmosphere.

I was very nervous to go get any close up services. After waiting through quarantine, and a couple of weeks after aphrodite nails opened; they eased my fears and pleased my badly needed mani and pedi. This just wasnt special to me; but to my mom and twin sister. We are grateful for the COVID-19 measures they have implemented because that allowed us to celebrate my moms 70th birthday!

Great first time experience.

Very sanitary. Pedicures are amazing. Everythings disposable. Paraffin on the heels leaves my feet super soft. I prefer a pedi over a mani any day.1.31.19 Gel on nails seem soft and cracking before 2wks. Also got a pedicure and this young girl was digging to remove every lil piece of skin thats a no no.2.15.19 gel was cracking so bad. Julie did my nails. Her technique was different. Lets see how long the gel last. Also she put too much on the tip of one of my fingers so i feel a lump at the tip . 😐 went early, didnt have to wait3.19 I think we are done here. Their gel diesnt last and keeps chipping and tearing my nail with it.

I’ve been going to this nail salon for about two months now because one of my close friends recommended it to me and truthfully it’s amazing! I know Sarah and Sam are amazing nail techs and this morning I was booked with someone else and I was a little nervous but she was just as amazing, she took her time to keep my nails clean and in shape, she carefully put on the nail polish and she was so gentle the whole time! Beautiful, kind employees for sure. I’d recommend this nail salon to anyone!

*Ive only ever gotten a pedicure here* This place gets very busy busy but they have lots of chairs. So, even during their busy times it doesnt take more than 30 minutes to get a pedicure. The girls are fairly good and always nice. Theyre also pretty clean.

The atmosphere was so chill and laid back. They did an amazing job. They stayed late to take me last minute and it was my first time their.

Its hard to get them to understand how to shape my nails, I just want them shaped the natural way they grow. Theyre pricey. They do a good job but their technique could be more on point.

There are salons on almost every corner in Bayonne. I stopped in to see if they could take me later in the day. I was told absolutely not. But, turned out to be a blessing. I went to Sexy Nails and they took me within an hour. Kiko did an amazing job! Plus, half the price!

I went to get my nails done the bloneda asian lady took careof me i told her i wanted acrylic and she was going to put me something i didnt ask for wen i asked her what it was shes said this is better i told her no i want acrylic she looked upset and got on her phone for like 10 min then she asked if thats the color i want i said yes n she got up to find a gel i told her i dont want gel n i also told her for someone els to takecare of me n left me waiting for more then 30 min i gave it 2 stars becase the other girls do care not like this woman that only caresabout making money!!

Mai is the best. I always make an appointment with her and she always sees me on time. She makes sure each nail is perfectly shaped before applying the polish. I am so picky when it comes to my nails. But they always look great when i leave here.

This is my 5th time here! And hands down I am so glad I found this place! I love Sarah and May! There staff is so professional . My nails are always on point . I do gel nail and gel polish. There prices are very reasonable and my nails last sometimes more then 3 weeks! I moved here 2 years ago and made the mistake of going to 2 other salons that were horrible . I’m happy to have discovered this gem of a place ! Excellent !

I wanted to love this place so bad. It’s very clean and the staff was friendly. I’m not from the area but I needed a pedicure before vacation and I decided to try this place out based on reviews. The pedicure was expensive ($23- by my they are only $18) but I thought it was worth it at the time because the massage was great! They really take their time with you and pamper you. I also really loved that they put the hot wax on your heel to make them smooth. My old salon used to do that and I haven’t found another salon that did it till now. Anyways, my toe nails were cut crooked beyond belief and the nail polish lasted me 2 days ! That has never happened to me before. Everyone knows pedicures last longer than manicures but that was not the case. I was honestly willing to travel 40 minutes to this salon but after seeing the results I won’t be returning.

Mean owner..made me wait a half hour longer to do my nails and took other customers.. And while doing my pedicure. They started to do some work on my nails so I would be obligated to pay..would not recommend to anyone!

Fast, clean & great quality nail care

Waited almost an hour as a walk in. Wish they told me it would be a long wait! Waited from 5:40pm to 6:30pm. Terrible service. I was a loyal customer for about two years. Unfortunately after this experience I’m not coming back and making sure my friends and family don’t either .

Great place I got a manicure and pedicure and was helped very quickly. Mina was great.

I was charged $55 for a childs (6yrs old) pedicure with gel polish. The polish didnt last a week before cracking. I wont be returning.

DONT GO! I’ve gone to Aphrodite’s multiple of times for my pedicures and I had to stop after seeing such a disgusting work place. They put the tools they use on your feet into the sealed bags & reuse them making them look as if their brand new out the package . They didn’t even sterilize them . With so many people going here I don’t understand how a business can’t afford to atleast sterilize or get brand new work equipment.

Very unprofessional. Girl who did my pedicure sat on the phone the entire time, would not listen when I asked her not to cut. They also charge for nail filing and buffer. Would not recommend.

Was looking forward to a rare treat, of a mani pedi. Not my first time here. I am easy to work with. Tip well. Not in a rush to be serviced. Owner stepped in to assist with my pedicure, to keep time moving, as new clients walked in. Called me a a derogatory term, in Spanish, passing me back to original technician, while the other technicians laughed. I was horrified. As I can understand a few languages. Bleach blonde, heavy set Asian, is the owner. I will not be spending another dollar there.

The pedicure was amazing. what I didnt like is I was 2nd in line out of 4 but I was the last to be done. I was there for 2 hours. then their credit card machine was down so I had to leave to go get cash.

I used to go a couple times a month, never again. Went in for a gel mani, and they had me soaking my nails for OVER 40 MINUTES. People kept coming in getting taken care of, and I was completely forgotten about just sitting at one of the tables. As soon as they noticed I was removing the gel MYSELF, someone finally came over. She kept pushing me to get the full gel and I restrained from telling her off, it was getting annoying!I just wanted the gel off and to walk out the door. The owner got up immediately when I was ready to pay, of course they wouldnt forget THAT part. She mumbled Sorry, and I said No youre not and walked out. Theyre not sorry, trust me Ive seen it happen to others. Guess it was my turn.

Twice I made an appointment with the only good manicurist there and when I got there they tell me oh sorry she busy or she took someone else. it seems like they pick and choose who they want to serve. had my nails done by others in the same place and they chipped and broke

I had a horrible experience 4 xs with Aphrodite Nails. They DONT know how to do Pink/White Gel. Given my sister gets her nails done with Sam, she recommended them to me. I went to Sam and he brushed me off to someone else who he claimed did excellent Pink/White Gel. The worse!! I think I would have done a better job had I done them myself. So I am told that that guarantee all their nail work. I go back less than a week later to get my nails fixed that not only lifted, but looked horrible... The owner sends me to another person who remove all the pink/white HORRIBLE job and then does my nails in GOLD GLITTER GEL because apparently my nails were weak and the gold glitter would hold them together at least for 2 weeks. I find out later that this GLITTER BULLSHIT was all a lie!!!! THEY CANT DO PINK/WHITE GEL!!! Horrible!!! The sad part about it that I would be willing to pay top dollars for a good job as well as tip them well! If they gave me life time manicure/pedicure I wouldnt take it! They suck! MY OPINION!!! DARE TO GO???? Thats on you !

I was told the full set for the gel polish was a certain price then was told the regular polish was the same and the gel was only $5 more. A full set with regular polish should not cost $50. Very overpriced. I wish I knew that and got the gel because after plenty of drying my nails smudged after leaving. I recommend Wonderfull Nails where I will be going next time. The only reason I tried this place is because of the time of the day I needed to go.
