Not a large selection and absolutely absurdly low how much they are willing to pay for things. They are making at least 400% profit based on how they do business. Would suggest finding any other similar store for your business. Have also brought things in to be fixed only for more issues to come back.

Always my go to game stop in bay city. They have a decent selection of retro games and the guys are always willing to beat gamestops prices on trade ins! Worth a visit if you enjoy board/video games!

Came to this place a few times with my partner and I love it! The workers are super kind and they have a pretty solid amount of games. I can say jrpgs are a little tough to find but that is going to happen considering the pandemic, those games are perfect stay at home, grind games. Cant wait to see what other games they get in the future!

This place is just to slow, the service guy actually wants to answer all your questions. And the movies prices are outrageous. To good of a deal for a movie I never knew I wanted to own.

Great and friendly store, they usually have what Im looking for. Shelves are well organized, the place is clean, and its not too bright or dark in the eyes. The staff is friendly, and they get a lot of cool steelbook copies of games in.

Had my smart watch repaired.Was done early and at budget.Would be a 5 star, but they put the straps back on the watch backwards. No biggie, i swapped them out for a new strap anyway.I would recommend.

I took my nieces Ipad here because she accidently broke a part of the charger off in the charging port, I expected to have to pay something for them to extract the piece from the Ipad... Nope the technician did it for free and within seconds. I truly appreciated the quick and friendly service and will definitely be returning as a future customer!

John was extremely helpful in repairing my phone screen in a timely and professional manor.I had found out that they were highly in approval of Mario Paint. Mario Paint is really good game and I believe on of the most influential games of our time. I was glad to find people who had the same sentiment.

I brought in my wifes series 1 Apple Watch to have a battery replaced. I was assured that it would be fixed in two weeks time. After the two weeks were up I called and they stated that they were waiting on shipments of parts from FedEx around Christmas time. Still understandable. They said the battery would in within a few days. A few days later I went in the store in person and the tech stated he had a couple phones to fix but the watch would be done by the time the store closed at 8 that day. I got a voicemail shortly after stating that the tech broke a ribbon cable in the watch and would need to order a replacement at no cost and the watch would be fixed the following week. A week later I called and got the run around, they said its intricate soldering and we have to have the owner do the work but it will be done tomorrow. I never received a phone call the following day stating it was done. The following day I called and they said it was ready to be picked up but they had to just order a new watch. I went into the store to pick up the *new* watch and retrieve what was left of the old watch. At that point the tech asked to keep the parts from the original. I told him, No, this is the watch I brought you and you couldnt fix it. Ill keep my parts. He goes on to say that they are out of money on the deal and could possibly use the remaining parts. I took the watch and what was left of the original and left. I will never go back for any repairs.

You know I brought in a working iphone 6s and left with a broken iphone 6s all because I wanted a new battery in it but I still go here for games so I gues Im just saying I like buying games from them but not geting anymore repairs from them. You know I did give them 3 stars but know i give them 5 cause just the same day i started talking to them about a laptop and the fixed my problem a year later and gave me a store credit towards fixing my laptop thank you to all of the workers and managers at 1up games.

Decent selection of video games and small selection of movies / tv shows. They have a rewards program that allows you to either get beverages, small items or a percentage off your next purchase so make sure to sign up for that. Inventory turnover is hit and miss. Sometimes there are several different retro titles in stock, sometimes I see the same titles for two or three visits in a row. Overall good customer service.

PS4 was overheating and shutting down they cleaned and replaced thermal paste and replace my joystick pads on my controller all for a reasonable price

Went in to purchase an internal hard drive for my PS4 Pro and was told that they wouldnt be able to sell it to me because it was for other PS4s when they came in for repair. Only way would be for them to work on it. Really? So my hard drive needs to be replaced and you want to charge me to replace my hard drive that I can REPLACE MYSELF, (backup data, remove screw, replace hard drive, reinstall and reinstall software)and to wait 2 weeks OR pay an additional $20 on top of the added fee on top of the extra cost?? Nope, never again. Ill shop on Amazon and get it in 2-3 days and for less than what you would have charged. Poor business practices. A couple/few $$ over cost of the drive? I would have paid you for it.. Better than nothing..

HORRIFIC COMPANY.I ordered a sega game greatest heavyweights. It wasnt working so I emailed them to let them know and they said clean the inside with a Q-Tip.I used 3 lysol wipes to clean the outside.. Full of dirt... and I used 10 qtips it was full of dirt and it still isnt working.. WHO SELLS THESE THINGS THIS DIRTY???? I thought they tested it before they sold it. NO I AM NOT A COMPETITOR. THIS IS THE MOST DISGUSTING SERVICE EVER. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!!!

Weve used them many times to purchase games and controllers. Also they are great about fixing items. Weve had phones and game controllers fixed here as well as sent many people in to do the same. Great customer service, no hidden fees, work they stand behind with warranty. Great store. Never have I let unsatisfied or feeling slighted.

Went to get my PS4 fixed because I messed up the disc drive, they were super courteous and very fast. It didn’t cost more than other places I considered. They also responded to any questions or comments I had on Instagram.

All the workers here are fair understanding know their stuff and are always willing to lend a hand. Gotta give credit to them for handling tough situations very well and professionally. I personnally go there almost every 2 or 3 weeks to make a purchase. Worthy investment no doubt

I had my iPhone battery replaced this fall & it’s already going bad. Within 20 minutes my battery drops 40%. This was definitely a waste of my money.

This store is so helpful. I come here for all of my gaming needs. When I check out, all the cashiers and I have conversations about the game I get. They are really helpful giving opinions about games, and recommend other game series that are related towards the game I get. I have been going here for over four years, and they have almost every game Ive ever wanted. The cashiers are really friendly and the service is exceptional. The prices arent TOO bad, and I pay less than what Id pay at some major game retailer.

This is my preferred game store. Always impressed with the service and selection of vintage games. They offer competative pricing to Game Stop and is much more convenient if in the market for vintage games. They also have a fair selection of newer games but, they have one of the best selections of vintage games and systems I have seen.

Prices were a bit high but they had a repair shop for video game systems and there are not alot of those places around here. They were able to answer my questions and get me the part I needed.

This is one of the best game stores in the Bay City area. If not thee best. From trade-in percentages for older stuff, that you may be getting rid of; to repairs and getting stuff fixed in an acceptable amount of time. The store is stocked with everything from Atari to Xbox One with so much in between. The staff is incredibly friendly and they try their best to make sure you are happy with your visit! I love going to 1up games. They make you want to come back. I bought halo 2 from there and it didnt work the guy that sold it to me said he remembered selling it to me and gave me another copy no charge it was quick and easy. He even went out of his way to play the games audio on the systems loud so I could hear it from the back room just to show me it worked. I will definitely be going back

Been there twice. First time woman was very rude and didnt offer any info when I asked questions. Seemed like she didnt care. The 2nd visit was much better as far as customer service BUT, we purchased a game, went all the way home only to have it not work. We had to run all the way back across town to return it and try to exchange it. They didnt care about that. Shouldnt games be checked BEFORE you sell them? LUCKILY they had one because even though it was their error, they offer no refunds. If they hadnt had another copy, I would have gotten store credit maybe? Overall, I wont be going back.
