This is a great way to rent a very nice kayak, we rented the tandem (for two) for two hrs and was great. The staff is awesome and friendly and the price is fair.

Last minute planning, we were looking for something for a Saturday afternoon and we found this place. It’s a great find. Handy to get to, reasonable cost, easy to set up a reservation on the website. Not cheap, but not expensive. Great service.You launch the kayaks or stand up paddle boards from a small inlet off the river. The paddle boards they have are very wide and look to be very stable. We rented kayaks. There is not much current in the river so you can paddle pretty much anywhere you want. We stayed in the section of river west of the small island. There’s very little or no power boat traffic in that section. Lots of good places for fishing and there are people fishing from both banks of the river.Go south from the rental facility and that section of Island is very natural. Lots of birds and other wildlife. The river is a little murky, not terrible, but you will want to avoid going for a swim.

Loved the experience. They are great hosts... . very nice people. The equipment is all new and good quality. The river is (or at least was when we went) perfect for nice and easy kayaking with little waves. 10/10 recommended.

What a great experience. Took my Girl Scouts to this wonderful family owned business. The owners were friendly and helpful. The two hour trip was perfect for first timers and experienced kayakers. Priced right.

My husband and I had an enjoyable time on the paddle boards. We rented them for a day so we were also able to take them to the Bay City State park beach as well. Float Paddle Center was flexible and the staff was friendly and helpful. We would use them again.

Very nice employees. They answer quick on FaceBook Messenger, and were very helpful with getting my dogs on the kayak. Will definitely use them again if I am in the area

The staff was incredibly helpful and caring when my little sister and I were caught in a wind storm! Despite the wind, we had a great time and are looking forward to kayaking again this summer :-)

We made reservations on line about an hour and a half before we were supposed to be there. Quick and easy online res system. When we got there it was a quick waiver sign, life jacket fitting and away we went. The employees were super nice, helpful and knowledgeable. Beautiful scenery and easy navigation of the river. We will definitely be using these guys again. Thanks for a great day!

Did a two hour kayak with my girls this weekend and it was awesome!! Never did kayaking before, but it was easy. Staff is super friendly, laid back and helpful. Boats and life jackets were quality and clean. Great location right on the river. Easy access from the street and easy launch into the river. Facility was neat and clean. They get ya in and out in a matter of minutes. Would definitely visit again and highly recommend.

Myself and my Husband enjoyed ourselves kayaking!I loved being on the water. The check in was pretty fast and easy. The staff was ready great. Nice clean and outgoing environment. I will definitely be back. It was worth it.

Great people, great place

We loved our paddle boarding experience with this business! We arrived 15 min early and they were open and ready for us. They were also waiting for us when we arrived back about 10 min before our 2 hrs was up. They helped us launch into the water and dock when we got back so we didn’t have to step in the water! Would definitely recommend them.

Great experience this was my first out and back kayak experience, loved seeing Bay City shoreline one direction mostly nature, the other direction Bay City riverfront activity and structures, I will be back, next time paddle board!

Awful experience, we made a reservation online and contacted them hours in advance to confirm and see if we could come earlier than our reservation. We received no reply and showed up to our reservation ten minutes in advance and no one answered the business telephone, Facebook page, or even answered the pounding on the front or side doors. I will never spend my money here again and can only hope for a refund on the $75 already spent here.
