I always have the BEST sales and service experience right here at Hagen Ford in Bay City, Michigan. They are, by far, my favorite Ford dealer anywhere. I will drive way way way out of my way to get the awesome service that I get here. Theyve repaired my Ford numerous times and also personally handled recalls on my vehicle. We were about to move 900 miles to a new town when our only cars brakes and A/C stopped working. Ward, the service manager, was very helpful and communicative in getting us fixed up in a narrow timeframe. He worked with our schedule, got the parts in asap, and gave us a loaner so we could continue prepping for the move. Well never use Hagen Ford again (because we moved) but you should!

My recent visit to Hagen Ford for a routine oil change was a great experience. From the time I arrived to the time I left, everyone was friendly and professional. Even the employees walking through the service lounge made a point to say hello. The dealership was very bright and clean. It was pouring rain when my car was finished and rather than putting my vehicle outside, the service manager left it inside so I didn’t have to get soaked. I thought that was very thoughtful.

Great experience with Hagen Ford. They were very kind and helpful. I traded in my old vehicle and bought a new Ford Escape and was out the door in an hour!! My new Escape is fun to drive, gets great gas mileage, and is big enough to haul larger items.

There are a million thoughts to be had and a million reviews to be read when it comes to making a large purchase from a dealership but lets face it, the bottom line is that we truly hope the company we are buying from has integrity. No one wants to be sold a lemon, and no one wants to be sold a break down waiting to happen but sometimes those instances do occur. I feel like I was one of those instances and you know what? Hagen Ford showed up for me in a HUGE WAY! They were willing to take a huge hit for me when they didn’t have to. Its not easy to stand in integrity but they did it, so that I, the customer supporting them, could also feel supported and taken care of with my purchase. I don’t know about you, but that’s what I look for in a company. I look for a company which is willing to honor all values, not just put money first. It is up to US to make sure that these companies succeed, because if we want companies that support the people, we the people need to be supporting those companies! I hope this is the last review you read and the last dealership you look for because you’ve come to the right place. Salesman Tom and Finance Clayton were great. I bought a used vehicle from Tom Hagen Ford, 100% by phone. Tom texted me photos, took multiple phone calls from me for more details, gave me a very reasonable price, and delivered to my home 6 hrs away. We started talking on a Monday, vehicle was delivered 5pm on Wednesday. Great people and dealership to work with!!

I do like this truck (suv) and it has everything i can think of. There is a small issue of some sort in the rear axel that I think may become a issue sometime down the road. I bought the vehicle very quickly and have been happy with the folks at Hagen. Any issues I may have with the truck are now mine no matter what.The folks a Hagen sell cars... I bought one. It runs great right now and I honestly love it.Be smart, do your own homework.The Hagen gang are good folks.

Wouldn’t trust this place if my life depended on it after today’s experience. Went in for an appraisal and was given a written amount of 40k, I said okay I’m gonna go get another appraisal. Well I decided to go back and take them up on there offer of 40k to buy my lease out on my vehicle. I was then told that because it’s a lease they don’t want to deal with it because I’m not buying a car from them, so they don’t want to deal with sending a check to my lender and getting the title mailed to them. Also that it’s not worth there time and effort to take the transaction because I’m costing them money by taking someone’s time away from selling someone else a vehicle. In addition to them lying saying that only Toyota can buy a Toyota lease, Ford to buy out a Ford and the same way for every make. But yet if I bought a car from them then they can do it. I asked for the GM and he said he isn’t going to continue to keep talking about it, and I’m not a customer of his so he doesn’t owe me any customer service and that he’s fully confident that the Haggan family would be okay with him treating a guest that way. And because I continued to try to understand why they wouldn’t buy the car they ended it with saying now the offer is $0 we don’t even want your car. I would like to be contacted by someone in the Haggan family so they actually know first hand who they have as the face of their dealership. Sales Manager and General Manager are two of the most disrespectful arrogant jerks I’ve ever met.

I was on my way , in my Ford Escape, to get my 2nd Covid vaccine when my SUV started giving me warning notices and slowing down. I managed to make it to Hagen Ford. Tim Conrad and Tammy, both from the Service Department, made sure I was taken to my vaccine appointment and then was picked up and brought back to Hagen Ford. They then loaned me an SUV while they repaired mine. One of the people in the service department gave up his lunch hour to work on my vehicle so that I would be able to get it back that same day. Their service department has always gone above and beyond in excellent service. Thank you!!

I bought a 2010 F-150 from hagen ford February 11th and it had a broken dip stick tube called and they fixed it but I had to buy one so they could fix it but they gave me the money back for it. I was satisfied with that but the truck needed new tires so I saved up enough money to buy new tires and when I went to get my front end aligned the guy told me that both Upper Control Arms were both very bad and needed to be replaced and I trust his work as he is a friend of mine. And I only had the truck a little over a month and I have sink $735.00 into it. Not happy at all I feel like I got ripped again just like Showcase auto did to me when I bought an F-150 from them I thought all vehicles from dealerships are gone thru before they sell them. I realize they are used vehicles but I think this should of been checked as it is part of the steering. I sure am glad that I had gotten the new tiresor I would have been in a world of trouble if I was going up north and my front end broke down on the highway dont know if I would ever come back to hagen ford again. My vehicle buying experience has been terrible before and now it happens to me again from a well known dealership its not fair for the buyer to have to put alot of money into a vehicle when you just own it just over a month Not a satisfied customer at all.

The service person was very nice n helpful. I rated Hagen Ford as a 2 related that the 4 to 5 staff in the service office wasnt wearing masks until I walked into the office. Kind late to put masks on because they had already shared with each other what they might be carrying. . This is not great customer service. I want to do business with a company that cares about my well being n the rest of the world well being.

Overall I was very impressed with how thoroughly they inspected my truck, and in such a timely manner. They clearly want to take care of your vehicle, especially if you bought it from them. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5, is after my oil change I noticed a small puddle of oil in my driveway. Upon further inspection I understand that my F-150s setup underneath isnt exactly ideal for draining the oil or filter, but at the end of the day the whole reason I took it there was to have it done properly and cleaned up after as well. Good service, will undoubtedly take it back for future services, but will definitely be bringing a shop rag with me just in case.

I had my 2013 Ford Edge serviced this morning with an oil change. The service person was very nice and helpful. My only complaint is that the employees in the service area didnt have mask on for public safety. There were about 4 to 5 men in the service area office with no mask on. Upon entering the office, my service person put his mask on which is kind of pointless related that they all were in the office with no masks. As I waited outside the building while my car was serviced, I saw a office person walking around the building with no mask on. We are in a public pandemic and some of the employees are just careless. Come on Ford Hagan get real and keep yourself and others safe.

This is my first visit to Hagen Ford as I just moved to Bay City. The service was excellent. Ward made the appointment for the next Wednesday and Mark Meyer handled the check in and the follow through. Very happy with the entire experience. I will be back for future service of my Lincolns.It is now 9 months later and my Lincoln Town Car has 5000 more miles on it and time for The Works Oil Change. Ward made the appointment and check in and write-up. The appointment time was kept and the car was serviced in 35 minutes. What more could you ask for. Excellent service.The Town Cars third trip in for The Works service was as great as the first two trips. Ward took care of the check in and check out. I highly recommend this dealership. 2018 Truck runs and rides great. Took truck in for door latch freezing recall service rep said will take 2 hours. Asked for a car so my wife would not sit there said too busy no car. 4 hours later truck was done . why did it take twice as long . last time my wife went in for an oil change and the tech finished the job and went to lunch but did not say it was done, so she was there an extra hour also. need more techs or better track of service time.

Went there for a car deal and the vehicle had a broken windshield and bald tire.Ask for a reduced price and they said this is already a deal. 2018 ford escape we for 13600.00 I was willing to buy and have excellent credit. They said they would send it to auction before they would take a bigger loss.If they took a loss every time they said they did they would not be in business.

Hagen Fords Service Department is great. We currently have a 2018 Ford C-Max and were just in this past week for an oil change and check up. Full report and everything is great, rotated the tires, too. Appointment was right on time. I waited in the lounge, had a coffee, and brought my email up to date while I was waiting. We have also purchased several vehicles here going back many years. Always a square deal at Hagen Ford for us.

People were nice. We understand the trailblazer we got was sold as is but we have to put just as much money to fix it as we paid for it. Service engine light came on the next day after we purchased it. Heater only works in front. We took it in to get serviced. It needs a lot of work. Power steering pump. Cadillac converter. Wheel bearings. Struts. Map sensor. Cat sensor etc.shifting hard(new problem) Should have kept looking. Paid around 4000$ for it.. Have to put another 4000$ in it just to make it right/safe. Should of just took 8000 and went from there.

Bought my Fusion there and its been serviced there without many complaints. Surprised with a brake repair need sprung on me during my last oil change (suddenly 0 mm on front brakes) but overall the prices have been fair and the car has worn well. Staff is friendly and Im overall pleased.

I would definitely not return to Hagen Ford.We found a Grand Caravan that we liked online and we also found another one that was just down the street at another dealership. The second one was out for the weekend so we decided that we were not able to wait. We had driven quite a ways to get one so we were going to go with the one at Hagen.Thats where things go to the unbelievable side in my opinion. I worked in the business many years ago at a place that I dont find all that reputable anymore in my opinion. However, what comes next is something that the place that I worked at wouldnt have even done.So the Dodge Grand Caravan is pretty well known for the Stow-N-Go feature of the back seats. Before 100% committing to this vehicle (we told the salesman we were going to buy it, but we wanted to check all the features closely before signing paperwork and taking it home) we discovered that one of the second row seats doesnt Stow-N-Go properly. The strap that you pull to make the seat pop forward doesnt work. He said they could probably knock $100 off the price (of this $14,000+ vehicle) for us. We said wed much rather they just fix this issue for us...its a 2017 vehicle and one of the key selling points doesnt work properly.He said no...he said that the sales manager wants to just sell it like it is and they arent willing to fix it.I cant believe that a dealership would do this. In this day and age of social media and review sites (like this great one here), it seems like they wouldnt want to put it out in the world that theyd rather sell a car that has something wrong with it than make it right. If theyll do this with this 2017 Grand Caravan, Im sure theyd do it with anything. If we hadnt found out about the problem, they would have happily sold it without informing us.I will not be back, and Id suggest you find somewhere else to buy a vehicle in this day and age that finding the car that you want is pretty easy to do.

Hagen Ford was the closest dealership when my Ford Fusion hybrid had a flat on the freeway. Although I had insurance to cover roadside assistance neither the tow company or the insurance assistant were able to accommodate two adults an infant and an eight year old stranded on the side of the road. I called Hagen to see if they could help. They sent a car and somebody who could help with the car seat. I sent my niece and the children ahead with Hagen and waited myself for the tow truck.Hagen went out of their way to find a tire to satisfy insurance requirements and were kind and gracious the entire time. Their waiting room has a section to accommodate children and (a delightful surprise) the ladies rest room is beautifully decorated and clean.I am so grateful for Hagens professionalism and willingness to go out of their way for a customer. The people of Bay City Michigan are lucky to have them. Thanks to all at Hagen Ford. You made our day in some pretty awful circumstances and saved the road trip.

Brian did a solid job of getting me into what I needed. I went in looking for a truck but instead ended up getting a newer car for the same price as the used Truck I was looking at. His patience with me as I debated what I wanted to do is appreciated. This was a 4 or 5 day process and he was nothing but professional though I can imagine that I was at least slightly annoying. Good service, as far as our service department is its pretty good the guys take care of you. With that said, their body shop falls short you have to stay on them and really look over your vehicle. When the complete the work you have to double check to make sure they didnt screw up the paint. Sales departments rude.

Car is great, Salesman was great, signed paperwork with agreed amounts including $3,000.00 down that day. Came back two days later to pick up car and sign final papers and was told mistake was made on paperwork and had to pay almost $50.00 dollars more a month. I said no way. We had agreed to purchase based on original numbers. Said I felt like this was a bait and switch transaction. Of course your finance guy said no was truly a mistake and he would see what he could do. Came back with new numbers being only $5.00 a month more than original price. Reluctantly I agreed to that because I liked the car. Still feel though that I should have gotten the deal that I signed for originally. Again I really like our salesman and I will talk to him again when we turn in the car at end of lease.

I stopped in because they had a promotional going on. I really didnt intend to buy, but knew I would in the next few months. I own a 2007 Ford Fusion (also from Hagen) and like it, so I thought I would just see what the new ones were like. I told Chris (sales) what I was looking for an he pointed me to the CMax, though I had never heard of it. I tested it and I liked it, Clayton (manager) also got the numbers where I needed them. I took it home to show the family and get their approval. They loved it too so I bought it. Every person at Hagen was extremely friendly, professional, and seemed very concerned with my happiness.

My son bought 2 vehicles on the same day from here. Over $26k. Bought extended warranties on both. His truck on day 2 was leaking transmission fluid. Master mechanic told us there is no way they didnt know this and the truck shouldnt have been sold in that condition. So Hagen fixes it. 2 days later same issue. Our mechanic said they spliced the line instead of repairing it correctly. Called Hagen again. Nothing they could do, as that isnt under the warranty. My son paid our mechanic to fix it. 3 days later and we are back at the mechanics at our expense because Hagen said they had to cut the cord. I would expect a vehicle to last more than week for that kind of money.My daughter in laws vehicle had a bad wheel bearing. They wanted her to take the vehicle and then have it repaired later under the warranty they bought. Now a week later and heated seats quit working.You cannot trust them. They will sell you a vehicle that they know has major issues without a second thought.I am looking for a new vehicle and know where I wont be getting it from.

Sales team was terrific with no complaints on how the deal went down. I have a minor issue with my new car. Parts were ordered and came in. This was over a week ago. I have yet to get a call the part is ready or to schedule a time. They recently had a staff change over and this service dept. is lacking in quality over the old staff. I have always had prompt friendly service. Prompt no longer applies. This the second time I have had to wait on service.Update 9-25-19Another smooth service on my vehicle. The only thing I would change is institute a drive up service for oil changes.

I had a 3 pm appointment for an oil change. I arrived promptly at 3. I brought plenty of reading material to look at while I waited. To my surprise my car was done in 20 minutes. I was so happy and will be back the next time I need service.

Mark the service manager really saved my day, they accepted my RV to do a transmission flush and oil change, I couldnt find anyone to do it. It was done quickly and reasonably priced, i will definitely be back for all my service that they can do from now on! Mark is a top notch guy too.

Hagen has always been fair for us. We have had good maintenance and repair work done on our Transit 250. Some falls under our extended warranty, and some has been maintenance. Costs have been minimal, and expected. Overall, good experience!!

Absolutely love this dealership. I have purchased three vehicles from them, used their service department, and even their body shop. The customer service is great. The way they try to accomodate every request you can have is helpful. Twice now I have wanted specific/exact features on a vehicle and both times now they have hunted down these vehicles and had them for me within just a couple days. You need it... they will find it! I wont purchase a vehicle anywhere else.

Worst customer service, ever. As a single woman/mom, I was severely taken advantage of. Played, if you will. Promised things they never intended on fulfilling. Took 30 days-3 different attempts-a call to Ford-a call to the president of the dealership-and a visit to the dealership ending in a very heated argument to fix a nonfunctioning sunroof and blown speaker; the dealership had my vehicle in their possession 2/3 of the first 30 days I owned the vehicle. They asserted I didn’t know how to work the sunroof or didn’t know what I was hearing, saying things like “Whats wrong with it now?” And “you bought a used vehicle, what did you expect?” The Operations Manager was legit yelling at me in front of other customers and employees as I expressed my displeasure with his dealership. He was rude and downright disrespectful. Never will I return to this dealership nor will I refer anyone ever. In fact, I will go out of my way to ensure anyone I know does not do service with this dealership. If I could give -112 stars, they’d have even less than that.
