Lived my stay there they will supply you with alot of resources in the community offer guidance and are serious if you are about obtaining housing employment etc..

The Haven has been good to me. They have helped me in my hours of need. The staff are wonderful they truly care about people and they are a group of wonderful women. Some with strong testimonies! Im very thankful for this place and staff that I hope to be able to give back to them in the future. They made my Christmas season wonderful since I have no family really around here. Ive met some interesting people and developed close friends with others. Thank you to the inasmuch house! God bless you all!

The staff at the Haven to my knowledge are respectful and kind. The facility seems to be taken care of and they have a strong presence in the local Calhoun County community it would appear. This shelter offers rest, included in this is bedding, and showers, and direct access to community programs for those who are seeking to gain independence thru community resources established by local organizations. This facility can offer food and shelter. The Haven of Rest Ministries can not and does not as of October 11th, 2019 offer any assistance to anyone who has been convicted by the courts of Criminal Sexual Assault or Criminal Sexual Conduct.

I called seeking for help for my son. I spoke to ron and I was treated terrible. Im a career woman and he just point blank said he didnt have time for me....I will never donate again because of his attitude and he didnt care what my son is going through. Calhoun county is terrible as I pay 3000.00 dollars a year in property taxes....thanks for throwing us parents away that care...and as for ron and your attitude you should be fired....why the heck is there a haven when people like you operate it

Staff there are drama.Very disrespectful. They make fun of you.As for th wet shelter they treat us like dogs.For the 4th of July Amari an Cindy .Let the resident stay up talking low at 1 am in the morning on he 4th an 5th. Wet shelter had to stand there in the setting area until 12am. THen at 12:10 Amari let us in.did have bed ready or blankets.The residents run around outside at 10pm all the way to 11 fir the 4th of july. Amari was smoking weed with them also.There were a meeting at 11:00 wih the resident ,so that was less sleep for us.
