Not happy with the rental I received didnt smell, or look like it was clean. We had maintenance lights flashing, and went to take it back was told they must have forgotten to reset it. As we were driving for Michigan to Florida the brakes were pulsating,and the wheel was shaking. I was not happy with the fact the staff wouldnt check the car out when we complained about the issues we were having. When we got to Florida and called the one in Michigan they gave use roadside assistance number and told use to call if we have any problems on the highway. This is not what I wanted to have to deal with when on a vacation.

After arriving to pick up my rental the processing was fast, I rented a mid size SUV and was given a compact SUV. I was then told they didnt have one so they gave me what they had available.. They did not notify me prior to my arrival. I ask about price difference and was told the difference in cost was $5. Wrong, the cost was higher when comparing rates for the mid-size vs. compact. No effort on the rental personally to accommodate me.WT

Tried to scam me. Said it was 650 for a week in a versa. Then admitted to using 3rd party company. Went through a long feel good sales schpeel. Hung up on me when I realized she was trying to rip me off. Battle Creek location.

Made a reservation for my birthday weekend online with my debit card. Day of rental pickup I waited over 3 hours for a vehicle to be available only to get there and told I could not complete the process, due to my method of payment. Online accepted my debit card, a Mastercard. I read everything to ensure I had proper payment and when I arrived wasnt really given a reason other then it wasnt a local bank- I use bank of America. Will not try again

I have rented with Enterprise in times past, and I have been very satisfied. This last experience, no ma’am, no sir! 1. The car was trash, hardly no gas in the car and the car needed a tuneup or a muffler. The service prior to the rental was excellent

I initially had an issue with a company discount that I was using; I didnt have the documents but there was no heads up that I would need documents (I have never in any other state). Anyway, I couldnt use the discount but I was given a comparable discount that I was ok with

Car was in the shop. Called and reserved my rental and was able to check in online. Needed to extend the rental and just called them and they were able to do it hassle free over the phone. Would deffinantly recommend them and will use them again.

I have rented several cars from this place and it’s always a smooth process, and never a headache. This is easily my go-to place.

Anissa is amazing! I had an emergency with my mom and rented a car. I got news she was doing better so I brought it back. Got another call that night that she was close to passing. Anissa helped me both times and I can’t thank God for her enough! She was patient, kind, understanding and helped me set up both cars for everything (she even got my Pandora to work on the BT when I couldn’t figure it out and my GPS as well). She made my rental experience smooth and comforting and I am so thankful for her and for enterprise in Battle Creek.

(Battle Creek mi location) I rent every year for my vacation from here and have always used my credit card no problems ever, I get there to pick up my car HOURS before leaving on my trip and All of a sudden I am being charged a $300 deposit that I was never told previously or have had before, my credit card didn’t hold that much money extra So I offered to supplement with some cash or other forms of payment and they refused any other forms, so I almost didn’t have my rental for my vacation I literally had to leave Transfer money into my savings account and use my debit card which wasn’t part of my plans at all, I asked to speak to the manager and the woman at the counter stated she was the manager which she proceeded to Have an attitude and not solve the problem at all, I returned with my debit card purchased the vehicle only to find it very dirty you couldn’t even see out of the windshield it was splattered with Something that did not come off when I stopped at a gas station to try to wash it off...so it was on there all week of my rental term...not happy (Still waiting on a reply from Chris R. That responded to this review) I’ve never had a problem with Enterprise and I’ve used them MANY times, but maybe it’s time to rent elsewhere next time..

I cant say enough or thank Anissa for the wonderful amount of care she put into my visit. I had to bring my first rental back due to a tire issue. Anissa check me into another vehicle no problem making sure that every concern I had was taken care of above and beyond expectations. I want to start off by saying WOW did the battle creek location exceede my expectations! Their customer service was awesome! This was my first time ever renting a car so I was nervous and called when ever I had an issue, they were their to reassure me that everything is okay. Had a few and I mean few cosmetic issues with my car and they not only reassured me that it would be fine but next time I come I will also be getting a slight upgrade! Way to go enterprise you have a forever customer!

Always great customer service when renting from enterprise

I needed to rent a car while mine was at dealer for some warranty work and I just walked in with no reservation and they were able to accommodate my request for a car from Friday morning until Monday afternoon. My car was not ready Monday and they were able to extend my rental another day. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This office really does a fantastic job. Brandon is exceptional and his customer service doesnt get much better. Even if there is every an issue they will solve it right away and treat you like youre the only customer. Highly recommend!!!

My rental car wasnt that clean but when I returned it it was cleaner than I got it..

Terrible. My dil received a car via her insurance co after an accident. When she had a flat tire on I-96 (with a baby and pre-teen in the car) they told her it would be an hour until they would send anyone out and charge her $55 but she said just send someone. My son went out to change the tire. NO JACK. They refused to take care of the flat and left her driving on the donut all through Christmas WITH A BABY. They SHOULD have just given her a different car because the insurance has to pay for it. Cannot warn you away from this place strongly enough. Oh, the 28th she STILL doesnt have a safe car to drive and THEY NEVER SHOWED UP THE DAY OF THE FLAT TO HELP. And, when the tire store tried to contact Enterprise on Saturday to get permission to replace the tire so my grandchild was not being driven in an unsafe vehicle NO ONE WAS THERE.

Though I’ve had a couple rough visits...I mean who hasn’t no ones perfect. I enjoy renting from the Battle Creek team. Brandon is always on top of his customer service and makes sure things are taken care of.

The service was second to none but the only problem I had with them was making sure the information was correct. I got the vehicle on a 1/4 of tank but in the system they had it as a 1/2 and upon returning the vehicle I gave it back on a 1/4 but they had it as 1/8. On top of that the vehicle front end was in horrible condition. Either the tire rod or ball joints was worn out because it shook every time I hit the breaks. The customer service part was good but the rest of my experience was mediocre at best.

Reserved a car a week ago for this morning.Talked with them again yesterday and all seemed good until we drove in at our scheduled pick up time at 9:15 and they said they didn’t have any available until maybe 10:30-11:00 and they would call us. I ended up calling at 11:00 and they said still none available and they would call when they had some. Never received a call all day and we ended up getting one from Avis!We have used Enterprise before and it always seems like something is messed up!We won’t have to worry about it again because we will never go back!

Pros: Customer service at pick up point was ‘Excellent’. Nissan Sentra mpg was very good.Cons: Had to clean interior windshield/door glass myself. Vehicle servicing left a very distracting film on the inside glass making it very distracting and unsafe to see through. Also, the ride of the Nissan Sentra is not nearly as comfortable as the previous Ford Escape I had rented.

One of my fav MI locations. Service is always great and this last rental experience wasn’t the greatest (NOT Enterprise fault, car issues) and Enterprise (local office and customer care) went above and beyond to make it better!

I recently had to rent a car from the Battle Creek enterprise and i had the best customer service! I was helped by a young lady named Allysha. She was the sweetest and so helpful when I had any questions. She explained to me everything very throughly and was so nice. 10/10 would come again!

The service was friendly. There had been a mixup in the reservation, so the nice person offered me the last car available. I acknowledged, before I even got into the car, that if I smoked in it I would be charged $100.Apparently someone who had the car before me got stuck paying the $100 because the car smelled like skunky, nasty, marijuana. When I returned the car at the end of the weekend another pleasant employee told me that he was sorry about the smell and he would see if I can do anything for you. He didnt.The car ran fine. It appeared to be clean. But it smelled like garbage.

I was angry to learn that Enterprise no longer picks you up. They use covid19 as an excuse to keep you out of their lobby and far from customer support, as I had no problem using a separate taxi service, which increased my budget for that day.

Brendan promised me a specific discount. On the day of the rental, the discount was cut in half and I was told to be grateful for getting an Enterprise Plus five percent discount.I am no longer an Enterprise Plus member and I will never rent from Enterprise again. Brendan, you may now lie to someone else whose child is having surgery. Enterprise will never take me for a ride again.

Such a nice experience from the time I walked in the door until I drove off in a nice clean car with only 11,000 miles. Full tank of gas, courteous agent, they helped with all my travel needs. I dropped off at a location by my house hassle free. I am very pleased and will definitely be back in the future!

When i picked up my car, the lady was walking around it. So im thunking cool they cleaned it, So I thought.....after getting in and taking a closer look. There was finger print on dash. I stop at car wash and wipe it down. As i do that i look at the floor it was dirty, so i start to vaccume and under the seat was someones elses credit card🤔 So it was never cleaned but they still make you put cleaning deposit on them?? I wont be renting from them again. Your paying for a service they dont even do!I will not recommend them to anyone

I had a horrid experience with this place. I reserved a van 3 wks prior to the date I needed. One hour before I left home for pick up, I received a call saying they didnt have my minivan but could give me a 15 passenger van instead. I couldnt imagine driving that to Ct for my grandaughters graduation. I will never use them again.

Workers were very helpful. Got the vehicle I needed, when returned I got my full deposit back the next day with no issues.

Loved the customer service here. Rented a car to drive out of town and visit family. The car was very nice and actually only had 6000 miles on it. When we got back from the weekend we were exhausted. They back dated my return time do I didnt get an extra days charge. Will definitely use them again if I am in need of a rental.

Rental car has strong citrus smell possibly from chemicals to remove previous odor from cigarette smoke. It was awful so Ben worked with me. He also suggested requesting a vehicle with no known smoke smell on my next rental. My sentra was a good vehicle for rental. I like enterprise because they are open on Saturday morning for pick up or drop off unlike other rentals.Ben is excellent! He has superb customer service skills and is very pleasant to deal with. He deserves a promotion!!!!!

Their rental cost is high, though Ive been using them for over 3 now..

I said I’d never rent from enterprise again after dealing with the manager from a couple of years ago. I didn’t have a choice recently and I was amazed at how much better the service was and was pleasantly surprised by the clean car pledge and that it wasn’t just a piece of paper!

I made a reservation for 9am and did not make it into the office until 11:50am (right before they closed on a Saturday) and I felt they bent over backwards for me making sure I had a car and that I was happy when I walked out of their office. Ive rented cars on numerous occasions from Enterprise for my trips to Cedar Point in Sandusky,OH, Chicago,Detroit, and Ann Arbor. Ive always had great service from Enterprise. The vehicles Ive rented are spacious, clean, and fuel efficient. When I rent vehicles I get ideas on possible vehicles I maybe interested in the future when Im able to buy my first new vehicle. Overall, The office staff are outstanding, friendly, and caring professionals. Im pleased to call Enterprise my Car rental partner and I look forward doing business with enterprise for future rentals.

They no longer pick me up I am a truck driver and park 6 miles away at a large truck stop area and do not have a car. Now I have to pay a taxi each way adds an extra 40 dollars to my bill. I expressed my concerns and I asked to speak to district manager and I still after two weeks have not got a call back. I have been using there service for 2 years never had any problem until this. The team in office is very professional and very knowledgeable but I dont understand why they changed the picking up and no phone call return.

Have rented a car here the last 3 weekends. Got the $9.99 a day weekend special.Was picked up and dropped off without any issues. Got a free upgrade twice. The total out the door price for 72 hours is $33.87. Cant beat the value and service. Courteous and helpful staff. Very happy with Enterprise!

The employees are very friendly at this location and the process is always Swift and smooth.

Every time I come in it has been a good experience. Yes, I have had a bad experience once when I was drug searched for expired tags according to the officer. Enterprise was good about it though and I got a free three day rental due to the officer wanting to do something that day with his drug dog. So it turned out okay and I have a fun story to tell.

Great customer service. I rent from them on a regular basis and they are flexible and helpful. I have had a couple cars where the USB port doesnt work, but that is a car issue not the offices. The cars are clean and neat. Brandon even checks the depth of the tire tread. They are an easy-going group.

Great service. Pricing is too high but its a rental car facility. So thats just the gig. Otherwise my only gripe is they need a bigger parking lot. Their space on Dickman Rd. Is too small. Give them an upgraded facility to serve their customers more effectively.

I believe the gentleman that helped me name was Brandon, he was very nice and helpfully. was very knowledgeable of all of the things I wanted to know. Gave me options. Offered me the choice of upgrading. I extended my rental times twice with no hassle at all. This was my 2nd time renting from this location and I will continue to go back.

I resented a vehicle from here a few month ago.. First off the lady was very rude and disrespectful. Honestly, I’ll never rent a vehicle from here ever again in life.... but the lady wasn’t even the worst part of the visit they didn’t clean the rental and someone left a knife in the car.. I’ve contacted corporate numerous of times now and nobody has responded.... If I could rate in the negative I definitely would in this case...

The jerk who ran the red light and hit my car certainly changed the trajectory of my day... but the friendly reception and excellent service I was greeted with upon entering the Battle Creek Enterprise office became the highlight of the experience. I have used this Enterprise location a few different times over the past several years. They have always been friendly, helpful, and accommodating!

Ive had a great experience with Enterprise. They have great customer service and their cars are very clean!!!! I will absolutely use them again.

There is a $250 hold placed on your credit or debit card. I had asked if I could pay in cash for the rental itself. Somewhere there was a miscommunication and when I got 2 Enterprise rental car I found out the whole rental as well as the hold had to go on a credit or debit card. I was not able to pay cash. In my particular case I had already drawn out cash so then I had to go to the bank and deposit the cash again. Otherwise they were wonderful and very courteous.

DONT get the daily insurance, my insurance wouldve covered me if I wouldve been in an accident. They didnt tell me that I needed to bring it back with half a tank (even though when I got in it it was less than that)otherwise gas is $3.50 A gallon ( current price $2.69) Took out a security deposit of $60 when they were only supposed to take out $50. Brought it back with MORE then three quarters of a tank you think they would reimburse you but LOL!!!!!!

But, luckily a van had come in, and they remembered me, so I scored! It was so much nicer traveling together rather in seperate cars!I only rent from Enterprise in Battle Creek, not only for their pricing, but for always receiving such wonderful customer service. As I was about to enter the enterprise office. still at the parking lot, this black guy asked me without greeting me if AM about to return the car . I said yes, he asked me for the key. I said sorry sir, you dont have a name tag and we are at the parking lot. he grabbed the key from my hand in a savage way, then when i went inside he refused to explain the charges on the bii which he handed to me rudely . of course like anybody would do I looked him in the face and told him i did not like you attitude. he cowered like a little boy he is and said nothing.childish staff. In your face attitude. no service. complete mismanagement. on top of that bad neighborhood, and you will have to get a cab, that what they told me . no ride on the weekend. pray to God you make it. I was so scared out side waiting for a cab.

What a crock online says they have 10 plus cars available i book one online for 8:00 am call and oh no debit card not for a truck got to have a credit card as if it is any different not like enterprise is gonna charge the value of a truck on most folks credit card oh and they cant put me in a car until 3:00 pm. lovely

It had a car that i needed but the car was a little dirty and when i tried to return it it had z sign that said he was out helping a customer in the parking lot but instead they were closed at 4 in the afternoon o a saturday.

I always prefer renting from Enterprise. Both their service and rates are great! My empolyer considers them a preferred service provider and I do personaly as well.

Terrible experience! Do not rent at this location . They are theives and will take your money! I was charged an extra day of service on my rental for no reason, a full tank of gas when the car was returned full and a cleaning fee when the car was returned impeccable! They are scammers will try to take your deposit when you pay with a debit card. Not the first time with a bad experience from here the staff is very uncoraporative and do whatever they feel like.

I rented a full sized car when chris r. Brought it up it was completely wet couldnt check for scratches etc. .the car was very dirty inside and out. I left my phone charger in the car when i came back to find it . I was told that they dont save phone chargers, becouse they all look alike, what exactly does that mean. Very upset about this whole experience. I will be complaining to my insurance company who sent me to Enterprise also.
