I would recommend this place to anyone! Brian was extremely helpful and professional and was a huge help with everything. My car broke down on my way from Chicago on Thursday night and I needed it fixed by Saturday so I could get back to Chicago. His schedule was packed on Friday and Saturday but was able to fit me in and had the car fixed by the time I had to leave for an extremely low price. Thanks for everything Brian!

Blew a tire on the way to work. Had a spare tire laying around the house, Brian said come on up he’ll change it for me real quick (even tho they were busy). Pulled into a lot full of cars. He knew I was in a pinch Though and helped me out. Good pricing and service.

I am not mechanically inclined but had a great experience here! Brian quickly identified my issue and solved for it. I was worried it was going to be a major thing but he was super honest and transparent and had me fixed up in under an hour! The price was super affordable too, I was SO grateful! I am not very mechanically inclined so I appreciated not feeling taken advantage of in any way.I first came in the day before and the place was packed but he took the time to set an appointment with me and when I came back they were ready!I would HIGHLY recommend!!

I have tried that place twice now. First time they couldn’t diagnose problem with my truck running bad so I took it to Holly’s Automotive and they just had to reconfigure the spark plugs and it was fixed. The second time I dealt with these guys was just for a break line to be replaced. I kid you not they called me 4 times to tell me something else had to be fixed with it each time they called. Said they couldn’t let it leave without getting it done. It ended up costing me almost a thousand. The next day I realize they never put my wheel housing back on so I had to call them up and he said they were having trouble getting it back on my truck but to come down and he would put my part back on which was on it when I dropped it off! I had my wife drive it back down there and a hour later she came home with it still off. They told her they looked for it and couldn’t find it and that is all they said! Never got it back! It’s actually a really important part because it’s the housing that goes above your wheel to keep water and salt from getting in there to your break lines and electrical wires. But not important to them I guess. They didn’t Evan tie up the lines or wires good either. I had to do that myself. Then charge me almost a thousand! I know that the parts he said he had to replace was fine too. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE GUYS! Way better honest workers at Holly’s Automotive and just about anywhere else you take your car too I’m sure. These guys are VERY DISHONEST and do VERY POOR QUALITY WORK!

Second, the Store Manager, Brian Street, was honest beyond reproach as he gave me the bad news...costing his business a substantial amount of cash. He even offered advice on what to be looking for in a replacement and offering a free inspection for any pre-buying vehicle I brought in!! I just had an amazing experience at this place! I’ve never been here before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. From the moment I walked in until the moment I left, Michael provided me with the best customer service ever! Talk about accommodating.....I was treated like a queen. He answered every dumb question I threw at him with a smile. He told me exactly what was going to happen and how much it would cost upfront. Why can’t every place do this without asking? He even gave me a quick rundown of the company and what a great place it is to work. Really?? Michael is exactly the kind of person you hope to interact with at every business you enter. My daughters car was not accelerating properly and the rpms would not go down if she accelerated past 40. After they looked at the car we were told it needed Camshafts and timing chain replaced and should not be driven. When we picked up the car nearly 3 weeks later, it was still having the original issue. We were asked to drop it back off a few days later in the morning. The car was not looked at until the following day and we were told this is a transmission issue and they do not work on those. When I returned to pick up the vehicle, it was very loud and it was discovered that the Catalytic Converter had been stolen while there. After filing a police report, I was told by Monroe I would have to file a claim with my insurance for damages.At this point my confidence in their business was lost. I proceeded to contact several other repair shops to repair the damages, they were surprised Monro was not filing a claim on their own insurance for me.I now have serious doubts about the repairs that were completed after spending nearly $3k and the vehicle still not running properly.The security of the vehicles in their care seems of little importance, as busy as they are there is no surveillance of their lot. With the lack of concern for me as a customer, blowing me off to file a claim with your insurance, I will discourage anyone from using their services.

Called this place the guy put me on hold for over 20 minutes! Then hung up the phone! Called immediately right back for the guy to to say oh! Your the one calling about some tires!😠 then put me back on hold! And never came back to the phone! I will never call or do any business with this place in fact I will be calling a corporate number to see how they feel about losing business! And NO I dont recommend this place.

I’ve had both my wife’s and my vehicle serviced here on a couple different occasions for a couple different issues. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond, and will not sell you something you don’t absolutely need. They also do not rip you off, and are willing to help. I only use trusted sources, they have not only earned my trust, but my respect.

I typically dont do reviews but Monro definitely earned it. I had a problem starting my vehicle and had many possible things wrong that could be causing it. It ended up being something much easier AND much cheaper than I was expecting. I also had an annoying noise from the front of my car that I could not figure out for months. They fixed that and my car is running perfect now. A huge thanks to Brian, Mike, and Parker!!!! They will continue to get my business.

I was traveling, more than 350 miles from home, when my rear brakes went out. Very worrisome situation.Other auto repair centers in town said it would be at least 4 days before they could look at my car. Since I was supposed to leave the next morning, these responses left me wanting to blow up.The manager at Monroe in Battle Creek calmed me right down. He told me to swing by in 90 minutes and they’d take a look. A couple of hours later I had new brakes and was on my way.I can’t say enough positive things about the service and customer care that I received from Brian Street and his staff. Thank you!

Great experience! Pulled in about an hr and half before closing the night before Thanksgiving. We needed two new tires because we caught two flats that evening. Brian got us right in and had both tires changed in about 20 mins. This was the only chance we had at getting them fixed before morning and their team knocked it out of the park. Very happy with my experience and will definitely be back with my business in the future.

Went in to have a check engine light looked at. Was relieved when it ended up being the O2 sensor and not the catalytic converter. They had the part in stock and I was out of there in less than 2 hours. So thankful for the honesty and Quality of their service.

I had an appointment at 2 pm for a oil change and tire rotation. After waiting about 35 minutes, I asked the manager when they would be starting my work. He was unable to answer my question AND any other question customers had in a CONCISE MANNER. Instead of working on my vehicle, he kept getting the phone, calling people - telling them their car is ready, and so on. He even mentioned he was working on his wifes car. I kept hearing the same conversation with this older lady about replacing her ball joint and if she needed an alignment. A similar customer customer was rambling with the manager about a similar issue. Up til now I had a good impression of this business, but due to their in attention to customer service they get a 1 star review. I asked for a dedicated mechanic and rescheduled my maintenance. My girlfriend will be bringing the car in; I have no patience with their indecisive behavior. This place is NO LONGER SERVICE ORIENTED. THE ONLY GOOD THING I CAN SAY IS THEY ARE NOT ENFORCING THE FALLACY OF COVID-19 MASKS. I DO NOT EXPECT A BILL THIS TIME FOR SERVICE; THEY WASTED MY TIME! AND GAS! AND MENTAL HEALTH! This business, if they want to stay open, shall provide rides to customers homes and then back again to their business if they need to keep the car long term for simple routine maintenance. However, this rates an unsatisfactory for service across the board.

Brian was able to get me in to replace a wheel bearing and 4 new tires within a couple of hours. He helped me pick the right tires for my car. I will absolutely be taking my vehicles back to Monro.

I had an appointment to get my tires changed and balanced at 4:30 the day I was going and (ironically) got a flat on the way. Long story short I was late but brian still squeezed me in and were the kindest workers and showed me everything he was doing before he did it. Honestly some of the best workers Ive seen at an auto place, will absolutely be going again.

Dropped my car off for a two o’clock appt. only to be called three hours later and told they couldn’t mount and balance four new tires. Funny, as he asked the tire size when I dropped off my keys...you’d think he’d know what tires his machine can and cannot do since he was the owner and he said he was doing all the mounts and balances that day. Also, was told my car was on the lift when they made the call to tell me they couldn’t help only to find when I arrived my car hadn’t been moved an inch. 7/29/2020Also, what about tire mount & balance options on your site. You’ve only provided tire balancing as a purchase option. Tires need to be mounted before they can be balanced.All in all, I knew they were busy, but do not appreciate the lying and lack of knowledge of their own equipment.

Last week i blew a tire and called Monro on short notice i was taken care of in less than an hour and had excellent customer service. Took another tire up today to have put on the rim for me and was treated with the same service i had prior. These guys are excellent!

I went in for front brakes. I got the lifetime brakes so I was expecting parts to be covered and pay for labor. I got there and was asked to come back. When I come back they looked at my van and then drove it to find out whats wrong. Put it up on the lift and said the front brakes were good. They had recommended I get the back brakes done but I went elsewhere because they charge too much. They were still trying to sell me back brakes that I know are good and wouldnt do anything about the front brakes. Ill keep going to my other mechanic.

This is the worst Auto Repair shop in Battle Creek MI to take your car for any type of repair. The manager Brian is a crook and very rude but will come across like a good guy. DONT TRUST HIM. This place needs new management. I rarely leave negative reviews but people need to BE CAREFUL AND BEAWARE of where they take their vehicles for repairs. My family was on a lengthy car ride and our alternator went out. It was early in the morning. Monro went out of their way to replace our alternator and get us on the road again, and quick!. They were professional, polite, and did great work.

Integrity matters. At least a decade ago I took my Vehicle to Tuffy on Capital Ave. Tuffy is no longer in business. They quoted me $800 for an exhaust job even though I told the from the get-go that I thought it was a worn gasket. I then brought it to Monro. I told them the same thing I told the other place without mentioning their diagnosis and price. Monro simply made a $20 repair. All that was needed was a new hanger. Fast forward 15 years later and my son takes his truck to Monro with an electrical problem which can be very hard to find and repair. But the crew at Monro took car of the problem at a fair cost. It means a lot for a parent to know that their kid is treated fairly without having to get involved especially with automotive service! Thanks Battle Creek Monro Crew! You are appreciated.

One of the biggest stereotypes of auto mechanic shops is that they are untrustworthy. When doing business with Monro that is no worry. They have an outstanding deal with their 9.99 oil change and are very speedy with their work. I have found that Monro not only provides the best prices in the area—.but also provides exemplary Customer Service every time my car is serviced whether I am in for an oil change or a major repair. The manager Brian is a very honest and understanding guy. Monro will definitely and has been my go-to place for auto service and I would recommend friends and family 10/10 times! Kudos to Brian and the staff for defying the “untrustworthy” auto repair shop stereotype 100%.

The staff were friendly and helpful. They told me a certain time it would be done and it was all set by that time. The appointment process worked wonders and I got everything done within an hour. It was fantastic. Though the price was more than I was hoping for, they got down as much as they could for the service. Overall they treat me well each time I go there for car repair and maintenance. I would highly recommend them for all of your needs.

I had an apointment by Bill and we were 2 minutes late. A women in front of me asked for a general diagnosis, and once I was up to start my 11am appointment, I was told youre not even in the computer. I returned to my car, and my wife then walked in and he told her that the women ahead had the appointment for 11. I had scheduled an appointment at around 1pm Thursday afternoon for Saturday at 11am. We will not be back--they lied to us. I understand we showed up at about five minutes after, but having a 1 and 2 year old sometimes proves to be difficult at times.

This is the only place I could find that would perform a front end alignment on my 62 Chevy. Paul was amazingly friendly and very knowledgable. The price was also quite surprising based on what I had read on other forums. I got my car back, and it steered like it was brand new. This is now my go-to place for my classic Chevy. These people are the fastest,friendly,and honest. Did a complete front brake job,including rotors and cleaning and lubing the calipers. While waiting for them.to finish about an hour or so,a customer came in wanting an oil change. The store manager,Brian,told him he was to early and still had quite a few miles left before he had to get it change .I highly recommend this monroe.

Staff were friendly, but thats about as far as I got. $180 to diagnose. Called around and asked other local shops if this was normal; highest quote I got for the exact same work was around $65. Called corporate- not helpful. Spoke with manager who said well, we gotta pay our guys too. I wont be coming back. I have another shop completing the same repairs for almost $1k cheaper than the estimate I received here. I asked for specifics of what was done during inspection and wasnt given any real response. Invoice simply says inspection and valve cover removal. Unfortunate.

He gave me a free estimate on the work i needed and Phil showed me on my car what other work was needed and also what could wait until later. both guys were awesome. Never got updates on my car, what they did to it wasnt even the issue with my car. They got it running in their shop but the next day it didnt work again and was gonna make me pay for another tow to get it back to them. They had it for 2 days and said it was the better when obviously its not the battery when its still not working

Brought my Prius here for the rear brakes, another shop was afraid to do the work. Phil is a trained Toyota pro and had no qualms about doing the job. They found another issue with the rear spindle and we had it replaced too. While it was more than what I originally came in for I was extremely happy with their professionalism and the quality of their work. They were fast too, it would have been a couple hours except they had to order the spindle which took until the next day.I will be recommending them to friends, and especially to fellow Toyota owners.

Must read. Damaging a personal vehicle to promote more business.Took my car in for a simple oil change.I came back after an hour and was informed that they wouldnt rotate my tires. Cause I had a bad control arm that needed to be replaced along with a ball and socket joint and my axle.They gave me a quote for the work.The manager told me personally that my brakes were amazing and commented that the brake pads must have been changed very recently.I got into my car to drive it off the lot and the brakes were gone. GONE!I walked back inside and told him my brakes were gone. They jacked it up and took a look at it. He even invited me over to look at the brake hoses. It turns out the brake hose on the passenger side was torn. The manager told me he can see the corrosion on both sides of the brake hoses. After closer inspection the corrosion was dirt that I easily wiped away. I asked him if it were possible that their jack was placed wrong and he told me no. But quotes to merely replace the hoses itself would be over $160 dollars. To replace the hoses alone!Closer inspection showed that the hoses were torn and there was no corrosion or long term rotting.To add insult to injury they didnt even discount the oil change that came with a 4 tire rotation.This place is a complete rip off of youre time and money. Damaging personal property to force more business out of me.I will not ever go here again and neither should any of you.

Beware of repairs other than exhaust or brakes. I needed a transmission cooler line replaced and they had to call in a special mechanic to do the repair .He said the line was difficult to remove and they wanted to sell me a $485.00 radiator. I declined the radiator due to cost. Then they were able to replace the line with out a new radiator. The vehicle was released to me as if it was repaired correctly.250 miles later I was stranded again with a cracked radiator.Monro would not stand behind their poor workmanship. Corporate was informed and denied any help. Lesson learned!
