We called to have two large pine trees removed since they were in the way of where we needed to put in our fence. We are slackers and always wait until the last minute to do anything so of course we tried to find someone that could take these out quickly as we needed it done ASAP. These guys came out the same day I called and were able to get them out the next day, even with how busy they’ve been with hurricane cleanup I’m sure. I was so impressed by how nice and professional they are, it’s nearly impossible to get anyone to come out and/or follow up with anything so it was extremely refreshing that they did both without me having to call and ask what the hold up was. We had Mr. Vincents crew out to our house to thin out four large oak trees. His crew arrived at about 8:30 in the morning and worked until 6:00 in the evening in what can only be described as miserably hot conditions. I appreciated their diligence and professional work. They left the yard as clean as when they arrived, and I have gotten compliments from my neighbors about how nice the trees look.

Several other tree service companies declined to even give a quote because of the difficulty of the job and the inability to get a crane into the space. We have called Ricky multiple times for tree trimming, by far the best service for the money in Baton Rouge. Most recently we needed two trees removed and five crepe myrtles trimmed, and he came by the morning after I called, began the work that afternoon, and they finished the job by noon the next day. To say his prices are fair is an understatement!!! I contacted more than 10 tree service companies in the Baton Rouge area to remove a very large water oak, underbrush and small shed. Ricky did the entire job for $2,000 less than the cheapest quote I received to remove just the water oak. He scheduled my job quickly and his crew had it complete in less than a day. The debris was hauled off and my lot is now ready for construction.I highly recommend him!

I used Ricky Vincents tree service to remove 6 trees on my property and prune a live oak. Ricky provided a prompt estimate that was well below what I had received from other services. Several of the trees were very near my home and were removed without issue. His crew completed the entire job quickly and left a clean work site.

USE AT YOUR OWN RISKThis company was hired by my neighbor to cut down a dead tree and some dead limbs from another tree. I gave him permission to use my driveway to cut the dead tree as it was more convenient for his workers. Almost as soon as they started, they hit a live branch on an tree next to the one that was being cut down and it fell on my power and cable lines with such force that the service pole that my power line went into before going into the box was ripped off the wall of my brick home and over a 5 foot brick fence a few feet away. Mr. Vincent said he could not pay for an electrician to repair the damage and if I wanted power to my home I would have to pay for it myself. He assured me his insurer would get right on it and I would be reimbursed within a few days.It is now 3 months later and he refuses to pay the claim; his insurer denied the liability claim and kicked it to his auto carrier who also denied the claim. He refuses to reimburse me for the hundreds of dollars I had to spend to repair the damage to my home.
