If I could leave 0 stars I would. Shipped an engine to a customer via central. The engine got to the destination terminal in relatively short time. However, after much runaround and missed delivery dates, the engine still wasnt delivered over a week later. The last update I got from their customer service department was that it could be delivered the following Thursday if they were able to get another trailer to put it on. Supposedly the address was limited access and they needed a smaller trailer. This was not true as we mapped the location on Google and also have delivered a number of other engines and transmissions there via other carriers with no problems whatsoever. We actually ended up having to have a reputable carrier pick up the merchandise and deliver it to my customer. Their customer service is a joke. Plan on waiting at least 30 minutes to talk to someone and then you will get no where. They dont care, dont let their nice website and mission statement fool you. They are not improving and are a joke, especially among other reputable freight companies. Mention their name to any reputable carrier and you will both have a good laugh. Ive even had one freight broker refer to them as a couple guys with a truck and a trailer. What a joke. If you ship, dont use them. If you are receiving, request that your shipper ship with someone else. The only reason people use them is because they are cheap. Cheap is not always better. Theres a reason they have sub 2 star ratings all over the internet. Beware!!!

The staff at Central Transport went out of there way to make sure I got my crate loaded safely and undamaged, despite the tall loading dock. Hardy had to unpack a trailer to get to my package but found my item and had me on my way in no time. 5 Stars for personnel, 4 stars for the tall loading dock

WillNever accept anything from any seller if they are using this shipping company. Weeks later my delivery is not made and then scanning issues. Never again

Absolutely the worst shipping company that I have ever worked with. I am having a pallet delivered to my customer, but it has been over two weeks. The terminal is only 1 hour away from the destination, but they keep telling us that it will be delivered the next day. It has been over 2 weeks, and has not been delivered. Than they have to audacity to try to charge me extra for a guaranteed delivery. If i could give them negative stars i would.

I do not understand how this company is still in business or hasn’t been sued to bankruptcy.All the other 1 star reviews apply to my story. These people will not pick up the phone or return an email FROM THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE. They are now costing us thousands in refunds. Regional manager will not call us. Next step is contacting the BBB to open a claim. THESE PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE CONDUCTING BUSINESS!

Didn’t give 0 stars only because it wasn’t an option. Wired money directly for early shipping...5 to 7 days, it’s been almost 3 weeks , no delivery yet. Can’t reach anyone by phone. Website tracking shows delivery the next day every day for a week. SAD WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS

If I could give less stars I would. I paid for a 1 day shipment to a location 5 hours away from pick up location. Here I am 7 days later and the pallet still hasnt arrived. I am on hold at the moment because I was told that the delivery is scheduled for tomorrow and that they have spoken to the receiver of the pallet, THEY LIED my customer hasnt heard from them. If you value you business and expect ontime delivery do not use CENTRAL!

ZERO STARS!!!!!!!! THIS COMPANY IS TERRIBLE. THEIR HOLD TIMES ARE INSANE, PROBABLY DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF CUSTOMERS CALLING IN LOOKING FOR THEIR SHIPMENTS AFTER A WEEK. WE USED THEM TO SHIP TO OUR CUSTOMER IN BATON ROUGE AND IT WAS DELIVERED A WEEK AGO AND THEYVE BEEN CALLING MY CUSTOMER TELLING THEM ITS ON ITS WAY EVERYDAY, NEVER TO DELIVER. WE CALLED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE TO SET UP A PICK UP INSTEAD AND THEY GAVE US AN EMAIL TO SEND A RELEASE FORM TO. WE SENT THE FORM AND LET THEM KNOW THE CUSTOMER WOULD BE THERE TODAY TO PICK UP. ONCE OUR CUSTOMER ARRIVED THEY TOLD HIM THEY COULDNT RELEASE HIS SHIPMENT. WE CALLED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE AGAIN, ONLY TO HOLD FOR OVER AN HOUR AND A GIRL TOLD US THAT THEY HAD TOO MANY EMAILS TO GET TO OURS AND WED HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THEY CALLED US. WHEN ASKED TO SPEAK WITH A MANAGER SHE SAID THEYLL SAY THE SAME AND WE HAVE TO WAIT. OUR COMPANY HAS OVER A 98% REVIEW RATING ONLINE AND THIS IS MESSING WITH OUR SATISFACTION RATING! JUST GIVE US THE SHIPMENT OUR CUSTOMER PAID THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR! ESPECIALLY SINCE YOUVE HAD IT FOR OVER A WEEK!

This has been the worst experience ever. Terminal hours state 9:00am-4:00pm. I traveled two hours to make a pickup. When I got there, the gate was locked. After holding for 30 minutes, I was told that there is nothing that they can do besides have me wait here for another four hours when one of the drivers arrived back at the terminal. Horrible customer service!!! Not to mention, the terminal looks like an abandoned building. All of the bay doors are open with no one there. I will never use this carrier again. Terrible customer service and fear of having items stollen from the runned down building that they use as a terminal.

This was the absolute worst experience I have had. The normal one day ship from Texas to Louisiana has taken 4 days and we still do not have it. Do not even bother trying to call the terminal, I am on hold still and it has been 35 minutes. They must have a lot of problems for them not to be able to answer the phone for this long. DO NOT USE THIS CARRIER. NEVER AGAIN.

My shipment waited at the terminal for 5 days in Miami because central transport didnt pick it up so I had to pay $35 a day because of their mistakes. Once they got my shipment to their Baton Rouge location they waited a week to schedule the delivery even though they were paid a lot of money to have them to me by a certain time. The delivery was scheduled for June 26th, 28th, 30th. At that point they said there was issues with the truck so I could drive 2 hours away and rent a large truck to go get them but refused to refund the money I paid them to bring this to my door. They scheduled another delivery for July 10th, July 11th and finally on July 12th they showed up! 5 weeks!!!! Once my shipment arrived 6 out of 25 boxes were damaged and it look intentional. I have filed disputes and currently contacting the owner as well as the BBB. This is ridiculous idk how they are even open!

I have been promised my delivery for 4 days now, the customer service is horrible, no one can get hold of the local office , no one answers the phone or emails!! and the corporate office cant get any answers! this is ridiculous, i would NEVER EVER use CENTRAL TRANSPORT! CLOWN SHOW!

Been 8 days now and my shippment still hasnt arrived. Worn out with the excuses and been on hold for an hour to get them to hold my shipment at the dock so I can drive 1.5 hours out of my way for pickup....if they bother answering.

Avoid at all costs. Corporate and local office give you different stories. Scheduled 2 shipments and never delivered after waiting all day. Only called to tell they were not delivering after the scheduled time was past.
