We had such an amazing experience with this company and one of their DJs, Greg for our wedding! He called us close to the event and went over everything to put at ease that everybody involved was on the same page. He had great suggestions and made sure all of the time, including transitions that could be awkward, all were filled with perfect music for what was going on! He worked so well with our other vendors like our photographer and our event coordinator. He even checked in with us multiple times at the wedding to make sure we were happy with how things were going. My husband and I so highly recommend this company and Greg!

Ryan with Complete Events was our DJ for our wedding ceremony and reception. He was so understanding over our music choices since we wanted some Disney, video game, and other nerdy background music for our ceremony. He lined up every song choice for our ceremony to the exact part that we wanted the song to start. For our reception, he kept the dance floor moving with a wonderful array of music from all decades for all parties to enjoy. He was a great emcee for our shoe game we played. He mixed in new and old line dances throughout the night. Seeing my grandmother and father-in-law dancing together was one of the best sights from the wedding and a memory I will always cherish. Ryan is an awesome DJ and we would recommend him to everyone. He even snuck in one more song at the end of the night for our wedding party last dance.

Im so happy we went with complete for our wedding!! From the moment we booked with them, everything was perfect and easy--all of our questions were answered and they worked with us to create the perfect day that we envisioned. Greg did a fantastic job at our Venezuelan-American wedding last week, he made sure that everybody at the reception had a great time and cant thank him enough for it. We also purchased the photo booth and photo printing that our guests loved! Easy to use, and with a staff member making sure everything went well.

The initial meeting was very good. I wasnt able to use the manage events portal to upload information. It wasnt resolved but the DJ that worked my wedding was able to just talk with me over the phone and even let me text him my song list. He was great. The only thing that didnt happen for the ceremony was that my groom didnt have a mic, which I had requested on the phone meeting. We managed but I was told he would have a mic and he was not given one. All my songs were played and request were taken. Everything else went smoothly and there was even an impromptu karaoke song played at the end. Sean was upbeat and positive the whole time. Everyone was really pleased.

We loved that Complete is a one-stop shop! It was super great working with ONE company, especially during this COVID year, with having to make changes, add services, move dates - working with Complete was just easy. Everyone was super professional but very easy to work with. Very easy to work with. We used their photo booth + videography services for our wedding. Everyone loved the photo booth. We had Ryan as our DJ for our wedding on February 22, 2020. He was absolutely INCREDIBLE! He was so much fun, super sweet, and just awesome overall.We danced literally all night. He played all the fun songs and made sure people were having the time of their lives. The night went by so fast for us because I don’t think we stopped dancing for one minute. Overall, Complete Weddings + Events have been so easy to work with. There’s no hassle whatsoever. OH MY GOD! Caleb King was literally the best DJ! I had never worked with a DJ before and I was really nervous learning the ropes since it was my wedding. He was so nice and fantastic. He was flexible and we met early on and we walked through everything. We discussed what kind of wedding it was, and his music choices were perfect! He included my favorite songs I wanted to play and worked in my favorite artists at the perfect time. He included a good mix or slow and party songs! He even got some of the most introverted people at our event out on the dance floor. He worked with us to make sure we were aware of what was happening and he adjusted when we wanted to change the timing or order of things! I wish I could hire him for every event I have in the future! 10000/10 would recommend. Cant give him enough praise. P.S. He also worked with me about planning around a crazy family member! lol

We used COMPLETE for our wedding in NOLA in February. Everything was perfect! Their communication the months leading up to the wedding down to the end of wedding night were great! Ryan (DJ) was super outgoing and made sure to play all of our unconventional dancing music while ensuring every single guest made it out to the dance floor. We also had David (photo) and Cadence (video) who were just as amazing! They stayed through rain and everything! I highly recommend them, super fun, professional and accommodating.

When I contacted Complete Weddings & Events, the coordinator was fantastic and amenable to offering a discount for my total package (DJ service and officiant microphone) and on the deposit. Payment was easy to submit via their online website, as was the information section allowing you to detail wedding specifics (special dances, songs, people, etc). About 2 weeks prior to my wedding (March 3, 2018), I was contacted by the company to confirm their service and was advised that my DJ would get in contact with me at the beginning of the week of the wedding to work out any details - sure enough, my DJ, Alexander, got in touch with me that Monday. I emailed him a list of songs I had collected over the past year to be played. I basically had specific songs and genres to give him an idea of what my husband and I wanted played throughout the night and told him he could have fun and play those songs or similar songs. I was also able to text him with any additional songs I wanted on the list and he took any last-minute requests. He was totally available and so easy going to work with. I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND using Complete Weddings & Events as a DJ service. They are organized, professional, and I personally did not encounter any issues with their service. It was wonderful to work with them and my DJ let me know to contact him/company should I ever need any services in the future! Great company, great night!!

We used Complete Weddings + Events for our wedding in September and they were the best to work with! Our DJ for the evening, John Foval, was beyond great! We met a few weeks ahead of time and gave him an outline of the types of music we both prefer. I think I ended our chat over coffee with something along the lines of Good luck making that all work together.I can tell you he did make it all flow together, from 90s pop, to 80s power ballads, 60s love songs, Disney music, and rounding it out with some songs from two of our favorite bands, The Killers and The Darkness. It was perfect! He understood what we were looking for and played a perfect mix... He even kept people on the dance floor all night long while avoiding any sort of line dance (or song that tells you how to dance). This was a specific request from us, absolutely no line dances and no Journey. :)If we were to do it all over again, we would go with Complete Weddings + Events every time! I had my wedding over a year ago. As I looked at the pictures today, I realized that I never really got to thank the DJ Greg and our Photogrophers from Complete Wedding. Our Wedding was held at Forest Grove Plantation and the lighting and the music was amazing and fit the atmosphere that my husband and I were looking for. After our wedding, we had so many guest come up and told us that they had a lot of fun and Greg was amazing and definitely kept the party going. They also loved the Bride kidnapping game and the music that followed it. The photography had done a good job as well and the lighting is something that was unforgettable. I highly recommend using their services for weddings.

Please do not ever hire Alex as your wedding DJ! I am so upset I can barely think about it. My new husband & I talked with Alex before the wedding and gave him a list of all the songs we liked so he could either play them or get an idea of our taste in music. All I can say is other than the first 2 songs where these were planned for our first dance as husband and wife and then the parents dance song, the dance floor was pretty much empty the entire rest of our reception! We would try to get out there and dance & motivate others to come too but honestly, whatever music he was playing none of us even knew the songs, much less how to dance to it! OOOHHHH, and he drinks the alcohol that you purchased! Let me say again, hes drinking while working and doing nothing to make you happy. We kept having to have the people at the venue go up to him and request that he start playing our songs, that he announce for everyone to come up to the floor for certain things like the cutting of the cake, throwing the garter, etc. And for the cutting of the cake, all he did, once, was say OK, everyone to the dance floor. Not what we were doing or anything. And then a couple of the guests had to yell for someone to turn down the music while we did this. So, the dance floor was mostly empty the entire wedding. My husband & I did not get to dance to any of the songs we like, and we spent the entire time going around talking to our guests and trying to motivate people to come dance with us (even though we couldnt dance to or know the music he was playing). I am SO SORRY that we had Alex for my wedding DJ! I paid a lot for a beautiful reception and hardly got to party and dance at it, and Im sorry to say we pretty much didnt even get to enjoy it - all because of the horrible music from Alex the DJ. At least he got paid and got to drink for free!

The DJ was really nice when talking on the phone before the wedding and he played all of the songs we sent him, including some weird ones.

I get the appeal. It’s a one stop shop and they offer a great price. Heres my story:My hesitation before hiring was with the photographer. I looked through the various portfolios on their website, and only one spoke to me. I explained this to the person who I was communicating with at Complete, and they assured me that the photographer I wanted was available for our wedding day and that we could have her. Well, fast forward to 2 months or so before the wedding. I reached out to Complete and inquired about Bridal Portraits with the photographer I had requested. They informed me that she was not the one assigned to my wedding! I would have probably raised more hell at this time, but the new photographer that was assigned to my wedding now was actually really good when I looked up his work. Well, he never contacted me about bridal portraits so I never got any. RIGHT before the wedding, a photographer contacts me and says she’s been assigned to my wedding. She is not the original one I requested and she is not the one who’s work I investigated and liked. She was an AMAZING person, but she was inexperienced and did not capture what we asked for. I blame Complete because they misled me not once, but twice, and the result was photos that we feel did not capture “us”.On to the DJ: When you sign up for Complete’s services, they make you fill out a ton of paperwork about your style and preferences. I dont think they even looked at it. We put so much thought and effort into our music selection. The DJ could have practically put together a playlist and pressed play based on the number of songs we listed. He did not call until about a week before the wedding, and it was clear he didn’t get us. Again, nothing personal against him, he was a great person, just definitely not the right person for us and for our wedding. There were several times during the wedding that Ryan and I stopped and looked at each other and said “what is he playing???”Videographer: This is the main reason I decided to go ahead and write this review. I just found out yesterday that apparently, theyve used our wedding video to advertise and to show potential customers. The irony is just TOO much. It’s like the video was created just for that purpose: generic. Something that would advertise well. Watching our video for the first time should have been a happy moment, but Ryan and I had the same reaction. The music was SOOOO awful (had they looked at the information we provided them they should have known we would hate it) and they chose clips that we feel didn’t capture our favorite parts of the wedding. The ONLY good thing to come of paying so much for the videographer package was the fact that they gave us ALL of the raw footage, which we LOVE of course, because it is 100% us, not filtered.Photo booth: This was a huge hit at the wedding. I love that they gave prints there on site and gave us a digital copy to keep for ourselves with all the photos.Overall: It took them the full 12 weeks to give us ANYTHING. And this was only after I inquired a few times. On the final inquiry, I was told “Oh, sorry, we forgot to call. It’s been ready”. We didn’t get a “preview” like most companies offer. It was a 12 week wait for disappointment. For a planner and worrier, this company with their last-minute organization and changes was a nightmare. For a couple that considers themselves avant-garde, we look totally typical and unnaturally posed in our photos and video. Obviously not everyone has this experience with the company, and I think it’s all in assigning the right people to your wedding. Hiring them is a gamble so ask yourself if you’re willing to take the chance. Obviously there is nothing I can do now, so I hope this review maybe saves someone else disappointment.

The PhotoBooth was a hit with the St. Jude patients and their families. They loved dressing up and having fun with the pictures!!
