First time going was pretty decent. I love my nails but when they get to your toes I don’t feel like effort is being put in. I had to come back in to get my polish corrected because she was rushing. But, other than that it’s worth it.

My girlfriend loves getting her nails done here, I like them too they do different things not just the basic sets. A little pricey but it’s worth it. They were very fast and nice when i went in to get to a gift certificate for her birthday.

My first time going to Tulip nails, was ok they weren’t really friendly. But I liked the full set and pedicure. I decided to go back because the nails lasted and I thought the shaping and color was nice although they don’t have as much variety as other nail salons.My second visit the service was poor they were not friendly, rude and my gel polish was bulky. Did not thank for the service. I’m big on etiquette if I’m spending my money anywhere and I will not support them again.

Initially walking in, I got an unwanted vibe. Very rude and kind of scary.. LOL. But when I did get serviced, my manicure was super quick which I loved. Also, i wasn’t sure of the guys name who did my set, but he was actually very accommodating and kind! Probably won’t be back though.

This place is horrible! I went here for the first time and it was my birthday, the man who did my nails was aggressive. He put the drill too fast and it made my nails feel like it was burning when i pulled away he just pulled my hand back and did it again.After that it went well until the filing came he filed my nail and scratched my finger where to the point it was bleeding and all he did was put glue on it. After a few day i was ready to have them off. When i took off the nails i saw dents in ALL my nails. the glue on my scratch was taking my skin off with it and now i’m pretty sure i have a scar. SO I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

I absolutely love tulip nails, they’re the only salon I’ve ever been to that does exactly what I want and so much more every single time. Tony’s work is phenomenal, I always leave feeling so obsessed with my nails and always receive so many compliments. I refuse to ever go anywhere else

My nails turned out okay. I was not aware that all of the books were gel polish. Which I still don’t necessarily believe. I got a full set (with gel apparently) my old acrylic taken off, and a basic pedicure. The customer service wasn’t the best and the lady doing my nails was on her phone the whole time. She was very aggressive and made my pinky bleed. I still have acrylic all over my hands and my cuticles are dry. The lady who did my pedicure was nice. I paid $82- my hands and toes were done using the same book( at least that’s what I told them) but I can guarantee that my pedicure was not done with gel. (I did pay $2 per nail for the design which I was aware of)

This.was a great place to come and get a great job on my nails. But now I do have to say, I wont be going back. After they used a nail tool on me and turn around and used that same tool on someone else, with out cleaning them. That is pretty grouse.

I wish I could give these unprofessional people ZERO stars. The attitudes and customer service are horrible. Especially from the lady there who I believe is one of the owners. Save your money and go somewhere your money and time is appreciated!

They do awesome nails,but they changed it around and took down a price list. I asked about price for waxing and she told me she had a price list up. The only thing on this list is the basics; full, Mani, pedi. The thing of prices and not sure what you will pay each time you go. It may be different for some..I just think every customer should know what they paying,opposed to sticker shock at checkout every time you go.

They are so pricey, they literally charge for every little thing. They are rude, go spend your money somewhere else

Overpriced. Made an appointment over a week ago. My manicure was extremely rushed. Not very good with cleaning up under my nails either. Not coming back here.

The Smell of MMA is so strong and they have 0 ventilation it caused my friend to have a severe headache within minutes. it’s always crowded/cramped I couldn’t sit in the chair to be serviced with almost knocking down the lady next to me. They do a good job on acrylic but the polishing left a lot to be desired. I told the lady that serviced me that my nails were way too long however she proceeded to yell at me and tell me that I had to have them long to get the style I wanted (ballerina) however that’s not true. I’ll try somewhere else on this search for a nail home.

I came here to get white nails. I always get white nails no matter the shop. So literally less than 2 hours after I leave my nails are brown! I come back and they giving me a hard time do you smoke you must smoke. Do you do your makeup all this accusatory questions. So then they start redoing my nails and She says we not gonna charge you but like colors tiny and next time we won’t be redoing it. Oh don’t worry I won’t be back.

I was visiting from Texas and decided to get my nails redone (dip powder), as well as, get a pedicure with my daughter. We were the only ones in the salon and the nail techs still hurried through the pedicure. No one asked what type of pedicure we wanted, so I will assume they only offer one type. When the pedicure was over, one of the nail techs moved my daughter’s shoes over to the area where they do nails but my nail tech just left my shoes. My nails were uneven, bumpy, and messy. The only reason I gave two stars instead of one is because my daughter was somewhat pleased with her service. In my opinion, they are way overpriced, provide a mediocre service, and don’t take time to do quality work. I had to get my nails done ASAP by my nail tech once I got home to Texas. You may want to choose another nail salon before going to this one....a waste of time and money!

NEVER EVER going back here!!! They are so rude, it’s ridiculous! I am a paying customer and there is no need to treat someone that way! The nail tech was pulling on my hands and basically fussing at me because my hands weren’t as relaxed as she wanted them to be. How can I relax when you are forcefully pulling my hands?! And I know she made a side comment about me to the other techs because they were all laughing and looking. How demeaning. I wish I could give a ZERO star rating. Please don’t waste your time OR money at this raggedy managed nail shop.

Every time I have gone there my nails have been outstanding and they seem to last longer than other salons in the BR area. Tony (I think hes a perfectionist) and Tiffany do amazing jobs!! Great quality work...they also do all the fancy add ons as well 😍

Not very friendly. Everyone is standoffishI now go to Venetian nails on perkins Rowe they are fantastic and can do the Ombre everyone at Venetian Nail is very friendly they are there to please you everything is for you they also serve you wine or soda of your choice while you are getting your nails done or waiting the owner is extremely nice and is there for your needs they are all about making you happy and if you are not happy with your nails they will do something about it and the most important thing is none of them are ever on their phones unless they are on a break and the place is a lot nicer and the prices are a more reasonable

Went here after reading good reviews but was disappointed. I wasnt greeted when I walked in (which isnt a huge deal), and then they started on other customers who came in after I did! They did not have appointments either. I was planning on getting a manicure and pedicure, but after the guy cut my cuticle I couldnt get out of there faster. There was blood running down my foot and he wiped it away with an old washcloth, probably in hopes that I didnt see it. The actual pedicure was ok, but my toe hurt for days after getting cut. Dont go here.

My first time getting sugar nails! They were extremely beautiful and they lasted a very long time. The only thing Ill do different next time is make an appointment before I go.

My nails ended up being nice, but the service was horrible. I didn’t get the name of the guy, it wasn’t Tony, but he was more on the shorter side. HORRIBLE attitude. It was my second time getting my nails done ever and he made the experience bad by being rough (drilled into my cuticles many times), rushing, got frustrated anytime I asked a question, forced me to pay before he even painted my nails - the list goes on. As soon as he put my top coat he flew out the door and left, no “thank you” at all. Take this how you will but I wouldn’t go back. Plus they charge extra for everything: $3 for shape, $5+ for length (and my nails weren’t even that long lmaooo), $3 for a matte top coat (tf), etc. I’m good luv, enjoy.

I have visited this nail salon 4 straight times, so I can provide an honest review for anyone considering patronizing this establishment. My experience has been the following:1. The attitudes of many of the employees are atrocious! I always make an effort to be nice and very courteous to anyone providing me with a service. However, these employees make you not even want to be kind! The girls who provide nail polishing service and pedicures are rude and they are snappy for no reason at all. They slam things on the counter and if there is something they need you to do like putting your hand back under the UV light, it is said with a nasty, repugnant attitude. They act as you are bothering them by being their customers. Tiffany, one of the owners, also has an atrocious attitude. If you make a simple request, she acts as if she cant be bothered, and starts speaking in her native language, something negative about the client. This is unprofessional and unacceptable. I had heard negative things about Tiffany, but I was willing to give her a chance. She has proven what others have said about her.2. I have gotten my nails done since I was a teenager. I have never gotten any type of nail infection or fungus until now! I was livid to look at my nail and see that. Tiffany saw it and didnt say a word to me! I looked down much later and noticed. If you ask me, this is not a good business practice. Those of us who know about the causes of nail fungus/infections, know that they are caused by poor application of nails. Tiffany applied the nails and she did not do it properly.3. This is NOT a friendly salon. If you are looking for a warm, inviting, atmosphere, where the employees talk to their clients, forget it. They are cold and stand offish. Its all about get them in, and then get them out of our faces. Its disgusting. Tony, the other owner, is nice enough. Its a shame that he has people in his shop, including his wife, that turn off clientele.4. This salon offers a lot of cool polishes, gels, colored acrylics and dipping powders. However, you will pay a lot for these things. I find that this salon is somewhat overpriced compared to other salons offering the same services. For example, pixies are $20 per nail. I have NEVER paid that much for pixies.After discovering a nail infection/fungus, coupled with the continually poor attitudes of the employees and Tiffany, I will not be returning to this salon. The search continues. I refuse to give anymore of my money to people who act as if they dont want to be bothered with me--that Im an inconvenience. Never again.

Good work on the acrylic nails, but my pedicure is very sloppy and I got an infection on my toe from it. I had to get a doctor to remove the spike of cuticle left in my big toe from an incorrect cut that caused the infection. They have too many customers to deal with and everything is very rushed with long wait times.

It was my first time there and each employee provided exceptional customer service. Youre missing out if you dont visit Tulip nails at least once. That was my first experience and it wont be my last.

In three days after i got my nails cost me 80 dollars and 4 of them came off like I put them on myself Im very upset 😡 and will not go there again

He talks noise when they walk out the door also! His wife does great nails but she is just alway so aggravated and in a rush.. She hates the way every nail shop in Baton Rouge does nails except hers lol

I stopped by after work to get my nails fillled in and my left pinky nail fixed. The older lady who did my nails did a terrible job. Paid $35 and she didnt fill in my nails all the way, and the pinky nail is not the same shape as the rest of my nails. If you look even closely at my left pinky cuticle, she accidentally used the drill to drill into my cuticle. Ruined my day.
