Great, fast and friendly service. I get gel polish on my natural nails. It last (polish) over 3 weeks. No chips nor peeling off.

I am from out of town. I read the reviews online. I was treated very well. I had Ken that took care of my pedi and manicure. I can’t say enough about what a great job he did on my nails. You will not be disappointed in this facility. I Loved, Loved this place.

I pointed out the service I wanted when the girl gave me the chart and when I went to pay, I was told I ordered a more expense service. I was not going to argue so I paid but will never go back and will tell my friends not to make the mistake. It was not worth $50.00. They even put a timer to make sure they don’t go over certain time. The girl that took care of me was not very people friendly.

I am visiting from out of town. I wanted a polish change, the receptionist needed to check availability before checking me in. She came back and said they could squeeze me in. Once she realized I had acrylic she declined servicing me due to the time. I am highly disappointed in this, as I am not in my home state and was basically told to go elsewhere. Shameful!

Best manicure in Baton Rouge! I have oily nail beds, and my gel manicures usually begin to chip within a week. My dip manicure from Bichonne has lasted nearly four weeks so far! The manicurist took an hour, and the price was higher than I pay at other salons, but he did an impeccable job. Im so impressed, and will be back many times over.

My daughter initially introduced me to Bichonne...I had a trip planned to go glamping ( deluxe modern 2 story cabins) in Bryson City, North Carolina..I had my nails dipped/manicured and a pedicure..let me just say that my nails stayed on and stayed beautiful my entire trip...EVEN THROUGH GEM MINING!! (I FOUND A 4.55 CAROT purple sapphire!!) Bichonne Ive never been more proud to exclaim where my nails were done...You guys Rock!!!

My experiences at Bichonne has always been consistent. I have been going here for almost a year now. The atmosphere is very relaxing. My nail technician always provides me with a lavender scented neck pillow during my pedicures. They also provide complimentary water and other beverages too which is always nice. I get my dip manicure done here and it LASTS for 4-5 weeks which is always a huge plus. The dip is not think nor is it too thin - just right. I highly recommend making an appointment right when they open for 9am as they do get extremely busy during the day. Thanks Bichonne for always making my nails look pretty!

Constantly finding a reason to charge extra. Wont tell you about extra fees for fairly common requests until you are in the middle of the service. Today it was $10 for long nails. They werent that long. Maybe if they didnt cake the acrylic like they are making a doberge cake it wouldnt take so much per job! Paint is always bumpy. Nails are always uneven. If this were the first time this had happened, I wouldnt be as mad. But this is every time I have the misfortune of going there. Apparently they let the techs charge whatever they want, even tho there is a menu of prices. Theres only one tech that doesnt absolutely suck at their job. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere thats upfront on pricing & does a good job.

Love love love this place! It’s amazing. It’s more on the pricey side but to me it’s worth it. Everyone there is so nice and friendly. They care about your nails and what you think. I always love my nails every time I go. I highly recommend!

I had a manicure yesterday evening with nail strengthening treatment. I was charged $25 to remove my dip & remove dip from nails. The manicure was $15 and multiple nails have areas where there is no polish. My nails look terrible! I called Bichonnes today & was told I would be charged to polish nails if I come back in. I will never go back there & I’ve gone there for years!!

This place was incredible. It’s pricey and WELL justified. The pedicure was incredible, my color is flawless. They have complimentary drinks. The people are very friendly. And I got an amazing manicure with gold tips on a stiletto style. 10/10 would absolutely go again and highly recommend

I should have walked out because price was posted next to the spa chair, so my fault. But...they charge $30 for a spa pedi that DOES NOT include exfoliation for your dead skin and rough spots. You have to upgrade to $45 to have that included. I may have been somewhat forgiving if my massage was good, because thats the most important thing....but it was quick and mediocre at best. I left with my feet still rough and tired. Will not return.

Four of my coworkers and I made appointments for mani-pedis for an upcoming ball. We expected superior service for the inflated prices they charge, but the management totally ruined our experience. They continued to accept and seat walk-ins at our appointment time, resulting in one of our party having A ONE HOUR WAIT when she had a scheduled appointment. Not only that, but we were there for one and a half hours and only completed half our services. The manager, Kim, was absolutely unconcerned and unapologetic. She said they were just backed up. They WOULDN’T have been backed up if they would have assigned techs to their clients with APPOINTMENTS and had the walk-ins wait. The salon itself was very nice, and the individual tech working with me did a good job, but neither I nor my coworkers will ever be back.

Went there to get my nails done and they are awesome, when youre called back, they dont just get up and walk away like the other nail salons-they take their time and make you feel pampered, I love that. I will definitely be going back to get my nails done and hopefully soon a pedicure! Asked for a dip manicure. My technician was Tracy and she had NO IDEA what she was doing. My technician did absolutely NOTHING to prep my nails. Usually they push back your cuticles and stuff like that but all she did was cut my nails. After she dipped my nails, I guess she realized that she forgot/didn’t do it because in the 6 months that I’ve been getting dip manicures, a technician has never taken the grinding tool and grinded through the dip polish and my skin, causing a lot of pain, but that is what she did. My cuticles are sore and bleeding but she doesn’t seem to notice. Also, after a dip manicure, lotion is usually applied and a massage is given but no. I was instructed to wash my hands? Then, I mentioned to my technician that the dip was still under my nails, and she proceeded to say “ I’m sorry” and walk away. I only came to Bichonne because my regular place, Blissful, (which I highly recommend) was doing renovations and I really needed my nails done. Will not be coming back EVER.

They turn away customers with children. I have never heard of such a thing at a nail salon before. At the time, my boy was 3-months-old and currently was nursing. If he got hungry, I would need to feed him. This isnt a bar. I have no idea why this policy is in place. Not only did they turn me away,but the front desk receptionist was rude about it. I will not be back again. I will also be sure to tell others as well.

I have been coming here for years and was really disappointed today. The nail technicians got the color on both my hands and feet wrong and the discount for the mistake was only 15% off my pedi, so I paid $65 and got two colors I didn’t want! After my first hand was painted with gel I realized it looked like cotton candy but I thought I could just go live with it. But when I had my toes done the nail technician used the completely wrong color on them even though the correct color was sitting right there, and I didn’t notice until she was done since I was not watching. I’m disappointed that after all these years with very few issues there they gave such a meager discount - $65 for wrong colors on the hands and feet is a lot! They did offer to repaint my nails today or next week but I had already spent 2.5 hours there (an hour longer than a mani/pedi normally takes) and didn’t have time to come back or stay longer today. I’m going to find a new salon.

Update: I was contacted the same day I made this post by the Spa and offered an appointment with the Spa Director to rectify my experience!I purchased a basic pedicure (least expensive) and dip powder nails. Why was I the only one not offered a refreshment? The pedicure was fine because I don’t like my heels scrubbed. My dip powder nails are not straight. My thumb is shaped pretty awkward and the tech was rough with me. She kept asking me to relax while she was doing my nails. Maybe this is a new thing but, I was never asked if I wanted to wash my hands. How do you get powder all over your hands and don’t wash them?

Excellent service. Job well done! Relaxing and accommodating. Just make sure you at least have an hour to be able to relax.

Summer Biknel nail salons pick up a lot of nails and are willing to pay them high wages. In the winter, when the customer is out of the winter, she can no longer afford the salaries of the workers. My salary, I strongly advise if you are looking for a job opportunity, please do not stay away from the nail salon of Bichonne. When they need you, you will be respected and like the gods, and when they do not need you anymore, no matter how good you are when they are trying to find fault and do not need you anymore, you are good Which is like a knife, so they can make deep pots and worms

I started using Bichonne Nail and Spa about a year ago. I get a manicure and wax. Service is always professional friendly. Emily is my favorite manicurist. She offers professional care and attention to your request with a great attitude and good nature. Love Bichonne!

First off, Natalie was excellent. Very social and did a great job on the pedicure. The reason for two stars was the price and wait time. I was there for way too long. Almost two hours. While the pedicure was done well, I didn’t think it was worth the price of $55 without tip. It seemed like they time the technicians as well. A small timer went off next to me and made me feel as though I would be rushed out. Natalie....if you move to another spa please let me know!

My friend really loved the experience and thats all that matters. Im changing the rating to speak on her behalf. There were some small issues that happened, but I was raised to just be kind and fair to others. I even tipped well as a nice gesture to keep things civil. It was her birthday and I didnt want to ruin it for her.

Really enjoyed my first visit and will be coming back! I didnt have an appointment, so there was a bit of a wait. Call ahead and schedule an appointment if youre in a hurry. I really enjoyed the soothing atmosphere and peaceful environment. No children under 10 are allowed in the salon. They have a large selection of OPI and Orly polishes as well as gel and dip nails. I got the deluxe pedicure and regular manicure by Mr. Kim. Fabulous time! Treat yoself!

This was my first time at Bichonne. It is rare that I treat myself so I was very impressed and excited to be in this beautiful setting. The wait wasnt long and the staff was very friendly. I actually considered checking into other services offered. I got a full set with pearl tips and the came out beautiful, however, the next day (Monday) one of my nails broke after hitting it on a door (my fault), the next morning (Tuesday) I noticed another nail split straight across the middle (All I had done was take a shower, get dressed, and drove. Eventually this caused pain under my real nail), the next day (Wednesday) I noticed another nail started to become detached near my cuticle. I loved them, they were beautiful, but they didnt even last a week I guess because of the price, I expected more. :(

My daughter worked there. The technician forgot to tell her one thing to charge, but guess who got fired? My daughter. How is that fair? This was the first time my daughter missed charging someone. People usually get more than one chance. How was she supposed to know what services the technician gave without the technician telling her?

I walked in 45 minutes before they were closing and they were kind enough to do my pedi and mani at the same time. This place treats you right! They offered me a glass of wine, a nice neck warmer and the pedicure and manicure were perfect! I’ll be returning.

I wanted long round nails and they started cutting before they even asked how long wanted it and they just wanted to do short square because it was the easiest thing to do. They didnt care what I wanted at all!

Honestly, not the level of service I would expect for the price that it is. Save your money and look elsewhere.

I expected more and was let down. I ran into Bichonne before work to get my toes polished. I was taken back a bit by the price being that $20 is twice the amount normally charged around Baton Rouge for a toe polish. Still, I proceeded for 2 reasons. One, I assumed a higher price meant a higher quality of work. Two, I assumed a higher priced meant a higher level of customer service. Sadly, I was mistaken. I walked out with polish on my cuticles even after recieving a cotton swap from one of the receptionists to clean it up a bit. And I had to clean it myself! That was first! In addition to, there was no, how was your day? This is a nice color you picked out. The nail tech just polished my toes and escorted me and my belongings to the drying table. I wasnt offer a drink like the ladies sitting across from seemed to be enjoying. I felt like I wasnt spending enough money to be apart of the in-crowd nor had I come enough to be treated like a valued customer. In conclusion, based my first experience I wouldnt recommend this place to first timers. First impressions are everything and though this experience wasnt horrible it didnt meet my expectations.

The wax job was fine but if you are pure of heart and aim to keep it that way, you may want to go anywhere else. Upon entry all I could hear was a nasty, completely disgusting, vulgar song. As profane as you can get, and no, the words were not edited. I almost ran out. Obviously will never go back, and Im sure they wouldnt want it any other way.

I have been going to Bichonne Day Spa in Denham Springs for years, and now I have been going to the location in Baton Rouge since they opened about two years ago. The front desk recepontist are always amazing. I usually work with both Ana’s at the front desk. Sometimes there is a small wait time but that is usually because they are so busy from how many people love going to them. It’s not from a lack of technitions. The receptionist always keep me up to date on the wait times. They will even wrap my nails and toes so I can have an early start on soaking off my gel polish. They offer homemade bath bombs complimentary with my pedicures. I usually use Nathalie, Lena, and Angie as my technicians. I have also used Paulina, Rose, and a few others. Every single technician is AMAZING. I go in once a month to have my toes done which is so relaxing for me. They take their time to make sure that everything is perfect for me. The gel polish literally never comes off until I have it soaked off. I can honestly say that Bichonne offers the best service, an amazing price, everything is spotless clean and sanitary, and the staff is the most friendly staff I have ever came across. I only trust Bichonne with my nail care. Thank you for always offering spectacular services!

Over priced salon for POOR service. A friend recommended I try this salon for the SNS powder service they offer. It was my first time in the salon but not the first time receiving this service. The SNS is supposed to last longer than gel (more than 2 weeks). I had my nails done Saturday and by Tuesday four nails had chipped horribly. I went back to ask for a refund because I was going out of town and I’d just get services done else where, and they denied it, and said they could re do it for free. But I didn’t want them even looki at my nails. I’ve taken over 6 months to grow my natural nails, and they’ve grown out beautifully. Bichonne RUINED my natural nails. If I could give a negative star I would. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE ACTUALLY WORTH THE MONEY.

I have been to the Day spa out in Denham but was staying in town so decided to try this location. SUCH A WASTE OF TIME Called around noon to see if they had any availability for a dip powder set that day and if I could make a n appt. They dont do same day appts. Lady said that they have 9 technicians working so she didnt think that me coming in an hour or two would be a problem. I showed up at 230p and after about a minute or two was seated with a tech wrapping my nails so that the dip comes off. I sat there for 25 min before the receptionist came in and said itd be about 10 more minutes. 10 minutes later I googled another nail spa in the area and called them. They were able to take me immediately so I walked out. As I left the receptionisht said oh but the owner... I cut her off as I could care less what the owner was doing/going to do/etc.

Sad sad sad...Im so upset because when I first visited it was ok but the second time was horrible, Im not the one to call racial profile in situations but this situation has definitely made me think twice...I signed in at 12:10 for a pedicure, full set and eyebrows which would be almost $120 for what I was getting and after picking out my bath bomb, I was told to sit in the pedicure chair, following me was another Caucasian woman who sat next to me ten minutes after me.....after about 45mins still no service, finally someone walked up and started on the woman who had arrived after me. The woman kindly said this young lady was first and I thanked her and said true, the employee then said someone else was coming for me...so ok after ten mins and talking to the front desk lady... still no service, then I see someone new walk into the door and get seated and service right away for a pedicure, I kindly told the front desk lady, its a shame not one person could come over her acknowledge me and ask if I even wanted a water for the wait, of course she didnt care as she seemed and she acted as if she was incomprehensible to the situation, when she wasnt....I will never return, the fact Im about to give you as much as I was and I was poorly treated is sad...I kindly gave my money to luxury nails on bluebonnet and Jefferson and they were wonderful!!!!!!!

I didn’t want to give one star since the glass they gave me was cold and they did have the SAINTS game on but I’ve been to the one in Denham and know that their service is much better. I decided to try this one on Perkins out since I could go on my way home from work. I arrived about an hour and 15 before closing so I could get a Mani/Pedi. Like normal, I checked in and picked out my colors. I waited about ten minutes before being seated in a pedicure chair. After about 5 minutes the lady from the front desk came to check on me and see if i wanted anything to drink. I ordered my drink and watched the game. After over twenty minutes (5:20pm) I went to the front desk to let the lady know that I probably would have to come back another day since I knew they were closing in under an hour and needed a mani and a pedi which the Pedi takes almost an hour. She said, “oh. Okay” and then walked away from me. I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes in Denham. I was pretty unhappy that they didn’t warn me about a wait and when I went to tell the lady I would have to come back and see if I needed to pay for the half of glass I drank she walked away before I even had a chance to finish my question. I won’t recommend the one on Perkins. It’s a bit further but the one in Denham is so much better.

OMG, I went yesterday after drill and the experience was very pleasant! That was the first time in years I didnt need anything corrected because they did an amazing job on my nails and feet!...nothings perfect, but my nails and toes were as close to perfection as they could be! The salon is beautiful and upscale. The service and hospitality was great and the workers are very personable. The prices may be on the high end for some but I promise its worth every penny! Oh yeah, and the Margarita was delicious lol

I got turned away for having my infant son with me. I understand the chemicals being there but as long as they arent right on top of the kids then it shouldnt be a problem. Its also very rude to turn us away due to the fact that Im a single mom and I dont have someone to watch my infant and he is breastfed so he goes everywhere with me. Guess that means single moms dont get a chance to relax and enjoy a mani/pedi like other people.

What you do get for a 30$ 30 min (and they time you!) pedi (the least amount you can pay): a very clean professional atmosphere. Massage chair. Hot neck pillow. Beverage including wine. A bath bomb which was kinda fun. Good selection of polish colors. VERY Small slice of grapefruit rubbed on legs. Lotion on legs. 1 Hot towel - Not wrapped on each leg. Typical pedi except for the below...What you dont get: no heal action. No scrubbing under foot. No massaging. Which was disappointing. For some you could just get a polish change for cheaper (if they offer) if you didnt need cuticle trimming.Pay with cash and get 3% off...randomn but good for us penny savers unless you get back more on your credit card.Do they offer a referral or multi customer punch card? Who knows...Music could have been a bit louder (couldnt hear it at all) and tv was on a channel that had some shoot out movie no sound... Not what most women would want to watch.

I rarely ever pamper myself or treat myself, so I was passing by and decided to go here. I must say that the place is beautiful and my first visit was great. I had gotten the mani&pani duo with gel and i thought it turned out okay. However, within 4 days of me getting it; the fingernail polish started chipping. I went back get a refund and was told they would redo them free of charge. When I got there, one of the ladies took me to the back and redid my manicure.Now; she did say something about a pedicure ( needless to say, I could barely understand her and thought she meant did I pay for one the first time) so she took me to the back to redo them. Then got to the front; the lady told me she would have to charge me for the mani & pani and that only the gel was free I charge for my fingernails. THAT WAS NOT EXPLAINED TO ME AT ALL! They were going to charge me $80, which was $15 less than the initial amount I paid the first time. I had to go back in there to tell them the lady that did my nails that she didnt ask me for a manicure, she just did it and that they shouldve charged me for it. But, I ended up paying just $60 for the pedicure/gel..I will NEVER come back here again!! miscommucation IS A BIG ISSUE HERE and it wasnt explained well; the staff should be able to communicate to the lady that she was only suppose to redo my nails and not my pedicure or that all staff should be able to communicate/understand fluently. Otherwise i would have just gotten the refund. Disappointed.
