Its unfortunate to even have to click a star in order to leave a review as Joyful cleaners have left me SADDENED. As I have utilized this company twice in two months, I figured I could provide an overall ACCURATE ACCOUNT of my experience and help others who are searching for a reliable, professional cleaning company in Baton Rouge. DO NOT WASTE your time and money with this company. I initially used Joyful the first week of July. I was told that two cleaners would be out to clean. Only one cleaner showed up and the job suffered IMMENSELY. I promptly emailed Joy explaining that only one cleaner came and the OVERALL JOB WAS SUBPAR. I sympathized with the one person having to clean a house. Joy graciously apologized and offered to send a second team out to do the job, at our convenience. So, today was the day for redemption but it was an EXERCISE IN FUTILITY! This time, three people came to do the job. My husband, who was at home during both occasions, let them know today (while I was on speaker phone) that they didnt even have to clean 2 rooms in the house. That should have definitely made the job easier, with three people tackling one bedroom, two bathrooms, a dining room, living room and kitchen- NOPE! They arrived around 1:30 and left 15 mins or before 2:30, telling my husband they had to get to another job. They didnt even finish the job at our house (pictures below)! There was dog hair in the corners, the floors were barely swept, sink fixtures still dirty, and shower not cleaned. They poured cleaning solution into the toilet so it smelled clean but it is evident in the picture that the toilet was not completely cleaned in or around the sides and base. I am sorely disappointed in having to clean up AFTER a professional cleaning company. I will DEFINITELY LOOK FOR ANOTHER COMPANY in BR to handle our cleaning needs, as you should also.

Very Very bad. Giving these 2 stars just because of owner Joy. Her staff is just just awful. Decided to get moving cleaning with window cleaning in 345$. Her staff just wanted me to leave my house so that they can clean without interference, So I left gave them some space , after an hour when I am back one of the staff lady say she cleaned almost everything. And when I checked oh my god. kitchen cabinets, doors , drawers , closet shelves were so poorly cleaned,I could scrap dust off with my fingers. The appliances were greasy and so dirty she just wiped it with wet towel. And if I ask her to clean she made faces and both the ladies were so rude , they laughed and made fun of me right in front of me. When I complained ,finally joy arrived she almost cleaned stuff they didnt. I thought they are professional and will use some proper cleaning material, Instead they used just wet towels to clean almost everything as if I couldnt have done it with it. even the bathrooms stains were as it is.In short I think joy should get some better staff or else if you order service make sure joy comes herself. Ended up paying 375$ but was complete waste of money.

I told her my main concerns and she was the most attentive towards them areas. I recommend this company and will be using again. Thank you

First time I experienced Joyful Cleaners and I am so gratful. I am a Single mom with 2 boys 6 & 4 both being Autistic. I Wake at 6:30 every morning and don’t get home until 7pm only to bath & put my boys to sleep on top of bathing myself. And no way I can clean an entire house by myself with 2 special need kids. If cleaning the kitchen, I come to a living room with crayons, markers, smeared Play-Doh on my carpet. So, you can only imagine my frustration. I finally realized I need help. I called about 5 places two that I found on social media kept telling me we don’t so this.. we don’t that. We don’t pick up toys. We don’t organize or pick up things off the floor we just clean. It wasn’t before I called Joyful Cleaners they said Yes to almost all I requested with me trying to be reasonable with things I requested. Laundry being the MAIN thing. They asked me want I needed, she said we don’t really don’t do that but said they would work with me I absolutely had no issue paying extra if it meant they could help me, they scheduled me right in. They came in and I came home to a Beautiful Perfect clean home. Living room was spotless & my Carpet I could tell got some vacuum love. Down Stairs BR clean & Kitchen. Upstairs as well boys room , ALL toys were picked up. Clothes folded ready for me to put up. Again, I am very Grateful and pleased with the company and have already made my next bi-weekly appt.

Awful. I spoke to Joy on Saturday and arranged to have my emptied 900 sq ft apt and 400 sq foot apt cleaned the following day (Sunday). They were also supposed to clean out the garage. On Saturday, she gave me a price of $550.00The next day, she called and said that she hadnt been thinking clearly, and that her bottom price would be $1,200.00. I was needing the place done immediately, as I was planning to leave on Monday, so we agreed on $1,000 -- which is extremely over-inflated.She called on Monday, and I viewed the property.They hadnt even swept the dirt out of the tub, nor had they cleaned out the cabinets. The floors were filthy, and the garage had tons of paint cans left. They threw the garbage in the yard, including a refrigerator they were to put at the curb.Ive never seen such an unprofessional cleaning operation in my life. They were lazy, and I felt like she attempted to extort more money out of me because they knew I was in a time crunch.I had to hire another person to clean and then pay someone to haul the garbage out of my yard.

We are using Joyful Cleaners on a 626, 66 unit project. Joy does a tremendous job and is on site with her workers daily. I have never had a call left unanswered or at minimum returned immediately. She sets an example of what a hands on owner should be. This project has had several needs outside of her scope of work that her nor her workers have hesitated to perform.

Joy has done a great job cleaning my past two homes. She assisted me with a deep clean for a move in and she & her team cleaned a home I was selling. She is prompt in her communication and very fair in her fees. She currently helps me with monthly maintenance and does great - Bobby

The absolute worst company I have ever worked for. Very unprofessional, no communication what so ever. Character assassination and harassment. She rushes you through a job so the job is not done thorough and the clients constantly complain. You would wait for hours and she would contact you last minute to work and would also tell you a certain time to come and make you wait and would not let us clock in. When there were 30 min to an hour gaps between jobs we had to clock out. When I filled a complaint to her about the harrassment she said it wasnt her problem. She fired me over text message after stringing me along for weeks because she had no business and blamed me for some made up reason.

Awwwful!!!!Joy was very unprofessional when it come to a employer. Shes rude and uncouth it took her 3 weeks to pay and when asked about it she replied that I had a bad attitude because I wanted to know when I would be paid.She blocked my number and I had to go through another employee just to receive my pay when she did decide to pay me.
