I started this gym a month ago! I really love it! Everyone is like family there! There are a great variety of classes for every fitness level. The instructors are very experienced. Janis and Katherine are my favorite because they really push you! This gym offers so much!

Went to pick our son up from a scout meeting and they were wrapping up the night. It was so awesome and relaxing to see all this. They say they do it every Wednesday night so yall should go check it out. The music is different and things that Ive never heard so it was new experiences. Theyre really nice people and they know what theyre doing. Were really safe and everything went great

Fantastic course offerings as well as an unbeatable rate; the student discounted membership price is an incredible deal. I love doing aerial silks and had wanted to do it for years and this gym made it possible. Everybody on the staff is great too and nice and fun. This gym is geared towards adults and kids, so whichever you are, youre guaranteed to have fun learning in a positive, safe atmosphere.

This place truly is more than a gym. Im a triathlete so most of my training is out on the road. The only thing I need a gym for is a pool. I never expected to find a home here. The people are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The wide range of facilities and classes they offer allow anyone and everyone to find what they need, as well as things they never knew they were looking for. Personally, I have enjoyed getting more into acroyoga, calisthenics, and the ninja warrior stuff. The flexibility, control, and motion involved compliment my endurance regiment through base strength, core stabilization, and overall flexibility. I never would have branched out from swim, bike, run without the amazing atmosphere. Between the training, the skills, the freedom, and the friendships Ive gained, Gymfit truly has given me Community!!!

Gymfit is a one of a kind gym. There are classes for adults and children. Anything that is of interest can be found at Gymfit. The owners are especially helpful and very knowledgeable about all the classes and activities that are available. The improvements that have been made at the new location are astounding! ❤️🌹❤️

We recently had my daughter’s 9th birthday party here. The experience was horrible and we were very disappointed with how the party was handled. There were 3 party hosts but from the lack of involvement, you would assume there were none. They were basically babysitters for 2 hours. Multiple times I noticed the party hosts just sitting around not engaging or paying attention to what the kids were doing in the gym. No one helped us decorate, serve food, cake/ice cream, or clean up. All of this is stated as being apart of the package on Gymfit’s website. My family and I did everything while the staff was downstairs doing god knows what. For the amount of money you pay it is not worth it. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. The only reason I gave this review one star is because my daughter enjoyed the time in the gym. For the amount we spent at this facility ($500+) we could’ve had the party in our backyard and she would have had just as much fun with her friends. I also called the facility to inform them of what went on at the party. I was told that this is the first time someone has ever said something like this and that they would talk to the employees. That’s it! I do not recommend this facility.

We first joined gymfit with their summer camp. My son absolutely loved it. He was able to partake in different activities. The counselors took time to teach him how to do a back flip at my son’s request.I was a member of Foxy’s before gymfit bought it. I was happy to hear that it was going to be gymfit. I love that I can now take all the classes they have to offer under my gym membership and still strength train in one place. My son also has a membership and can partake in the kids’ classes.

I absolutely love gymfit! The staff and members here are wonderful. The owners have made major improvements the gym to make it better for the members. Gymfit has all the equipment you need to get a great work out! They have so many classes here, you will never get bored! Gymfit will motivate you to #keepmoving !!

I have known Josh for years! He is an amazing teacher, with a heart of gold. Our whole family loves his classes! The Ninja warrior course, aerial silks, acroyoga, and his GymFit Foundation class are just a few of our favorites! I highly recommend this place to all of my friends. Its really fun and a great workout for the whole family.

GymFit has been a God send for us! My son absolutely loves it there. He woke up at 4am this week because he was ready to go to GymFit on his day off of school. Josh, Michelle, Kathi, Grandma and other staff are awesome! I cannot wait until my daughter is old enough to attend. Not only are the summer and holiday camps a perfect way for the kids to have fun and stay active, but the Birthday party was fun for kids AND adults!! What a great place!!! Do you need to strengthen your muscles while having a great time? This is it. The instructors are knowledgeable and easily approachable. Gymfit has a variations of classes which will fit anybody. I have the option to take a class early or later in the evening. The hours a very accommodating to the busy and working mom.

Gymfit is my home away from home! All of the staff-members are so friendly and want to help you meet your personal goals. The community members in the gym are also very supportive and encouraging! If you want to challenge your mind and body come try a class! You won’t regret it!

Baton Rouge has needed something like this for a long time! Finally a great place for boys and girls to run around and have fun! Structured classes and open gyms make it easy to find something that fits your needs! Many great classes for parents to take with their kids or separately! Must visit!

GymFit offers a wide variety of gym, fitness, and even circus training classes! It is the only gym around of it’s kind. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, skillful and helpful, and the prices are very reasonable! Josh is awesome and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for GymFit!

We love, love GymFit! My two kids, 5 and 10, went there for summer camp and it was the first summer I didnt hear daily complaints about not wanting to go or how boring it was. Most days they didnt want to leave.Plus, during the week I can get a workout in while they get all their energy out in one of the kid classes offered.The owners and staff are really nice, down-to-earth people. If you havent yet, try it out!

This place tricks you into a workout. Way more fun than going to a regular gym. The atmosphere is really open and the staff is a joy to be around.

It is incredibly diverse as far as activities and demographic. I have been friends with the owner for several years now and have personally seen Gymfit grow from a couple classes to our own facility. That just goes to show that its an amazing place to hang out, learn, and build personal relationships and athletic skills. I love this place and wish I could spend more time here. My boys had soooo much fun at the open play. The ninja warrior course is much more fun than the one they created out of pillows in the living room :) The staff was super friendly and we plan on becoming regulars!

I love this place!! I spend more time at this gym than I do at home on my days off! The owners are so willing to help you learn and grow, all the while keeping a smile on your face. It’s hard not to become great friends with everyone that walks through the doors because the atmosphere breathes excitement and friendliness.All of the couches are so knowledgeable and ready to teach! Everyone specializes in something different so it’s extremely hard to get bored here! What I love most about the coach’s is that they’re not kids teaching. These are actually people who are 21+ who love what they do and love teaching people how to do it!My favorite department is the circus department! :D it’s the silliest most fun way to workout! I’ve spent a lot of time trying to build muscle, tone, and become healthier, but I had a hard time doing that until GymFit! Now I’m doing pull-ups, push-ups, pistol squats, and everything in between!I could go on and on about this place all day, but I’m going to say that if you’re reading this, then you should most definitely come in and see what it’s all about!!Come say hey if you see me!! Daughter goes to gymnastics at LA Athletics and she loves it..the gym is sufficient and everyone that uses it looks like they are having fun. Always BUSY!

I used to work here back when it was at Elite Gymastics. I thought it was great then. Doing the strength classes there got me the strongest I’ve ever beenin my life! Makes workouts enjoyable and teaches really cool skills in acrobatics/circus arts!

I started going to gymfit in March of this year because I wanted to cross train some of my weight lifting to gain flexibility and stability. Everybody there was so welcoming and patient, which is what makes this place so much fun!! Since starting there, I have gone from being super mucle bound and not flexible, to now I can almost do the splits. As far as stability is concerned, I have gained a ton of of it though the various classes, but my favorite has got to be acro yoga! So if you want a fun kid friendly environment where you can get a great workout gymfit is the place for you!

I was at the grand opening in August and they featured me in the Facebook live video talking about adding special needs classes for adults and children in October 2017.I loved spinning around in the cube hanging from the ceiling and jumping on the trampolines.

Growing up I have always lacked a place that I belonged. This struggle caused depression among anxiety and other psychological issues. I have always been interested in American Ninja Warrior and a friend of mine told me about Gymfit, I have been to other Ninja Gyms before, but they did not compare to the way Gymfit makes you feel. Shortly after my first time at Gymfit I started going everyday because there was so much to learn and it was one of those places that you just could not help to want to be there. At the Gym the members and staff both want you to be your best self. After my time attending Gymfit even though I started because of Ninja I fell in love with everything circus. Flow specifically is where I truly found my place. There is something therapeutic about just spinning different objects around your body to music or even learning new tricks. There might be times when certain tricks take longer to learn but that joy when you finally get it right is just all the more satisfying. That is what I love about Gymfit when someone learns something new it is not a fake excitement for you, everyone is genuinely happy for you, and happy that you overcame the struggle that they saw you practicing. There was a particular instance when I messed up learning a new trick, it was frustrating, but the instructor smiling said you know that means you need to try it again because repetition is how you get it right. I bet he does not even know how I have had that stick with me and even applied it to every discipline. With all this being said Gymfit to me is more than just a Gym it is a family/community of people who may have different backgrounds but support one another and love seeing the people around them succeed. Gymfit is now my home, I now teach the kids circus class and work with birthday parties and the kids/teennights. I started working there because when you find a place(Gymfit) that brings you so much joy and helped you so much you want to be a part of that process and help others.

Gymfit is the perfect place to have fun, no matter how old you are !! They offer a wide variety of classes for all age groups and their instructors are not only knowledgeable but they put passion in what they do !!!They also have amazing birthday parties and Holiday Camps !!!Gymfit is our favorite place !!!!!

There are very very good points about GymFit. I also have a very strong reservations about safety for children - I WOULD NOT recommend this place to kids under 7 years ago. I have been there at least a half-dozen times prior to grand opening - in particular the kids summer camp and kids night out. There are lots of cool activities to do for kids that keep them engaged and active. However, the organization is lacking. I had to leave my credit card number on a post-stick it to pay one day because only one person does credit cared. I found the two owners (Josh and the other owner at super fit guy in his 40s) really non-chalant about clear instructions, traffic control and safety. They have a lot of young kids hired to do basic supervision but the ratio of adults to kids is unfavorable. I was there at the grand opening - it was a madhouse. There are NO labels nor expectations posted about safety instructions or behavioral expectations. A fourteen-year girl got a major laceration on her head for obstacle course where there are NO instructions posted - honestly the place is a major lawsuit waiting to happen. Josh and the owner didnt even offer to pay for partially for her injury or medical treatment - they just waved the waiver around (which was signed by her and a nonguardian) I would like to try some of their cool classes for adults but after they streamline their safety processes. Honestly, they lack a females caution and touch for organization and safety concerns.

GymFit is, hands down, the most unique exercise experience you can find in the area. From Acro to Parkour to Ninja Warrior and so much more, there is something for everyone in the family. Our children have loved the Ninja kid classes, as well as the preschool class on Fridays. They still rave about the summer camp, and always ask when they can go back. My wife and I love the facilitys wide range of classes and their caring staff. Every instructor has gone above and beyond to accommodate all skill levels, delivering a fun experience that promotes movement and community. If you are looking for something new, or searching for classes youve always wished Baton Rouge offered, GymFit is the place for you. Stop by, check it out, and tell your friends!
