We rented tables, chairs, and linens for our wedding & reception that took place at a family home in French Settlement this past November and everything turned out beautifully! Oh, and last minute space heaters since we had a sporadic cold front come through (at least no rain or mosquitos to deal with). Gingers Party Rentals rental rates are far better than their competitors and the timeframe we had the rentals for was much more convenient (delivered Friday and picked up Monday for a 1-day rental fee opposed to delivered and picked up same or next day for a multiple day fee). The quote and order process was simple enough and Shane and his support staff were easy to communicate with anytime I needed to speak with someone. There were some last minute hiccups with the chairs and space heaters, but they were quickly resolved and multiple efforts were made to make sure things were right with us in the end, which they were. Would recommend for any events in or near Baton Rouge!

We were coming to Baton Rouge for an event and has to rent a tent. At the last minute the event was cancelled and we had to cancel the tent. The staff at Gingers (particularlyVirginia, the Asst Manager) went above and beyond in customer service. Proving there are really good people in the world. Compassion and kindness and professionalism. I highly recommend this company.

I rented 30 folding chairs and several tables for a surprise birthday party for my husband. It was easy to pick up and return. I really appreciate the convenience. It gave everyone a place to sit and enjoy their meal. Thank you Gingers Party Rental.

I rented cups & saucers, dishes, and silverware from Ginger’s and it went so well with the theme for my daughter’s bridal shower, which was a “Tea Party”. The people at Ginger’s are so helpful and kind, taking their time to answer my questions on the phone and in person. Everything was ready when I arrived to pick it up, and the guys loading it into my car did so with care for the outside of my car and the inside, and did it with a smile. Definitely recommend Ginger’s for your rentals, you won’t be disappointed.

They have many things to choose from for your party rental. The pick up process was very easy for the bulk material where you can drive up and load after going inside to get your pick up sheet. The prices are great too!Note: if you are getting larger things that are stored inside or several table clothes that are heavy you do have to go up a stairs to get to the office.

Everything worked out well. My order was waiting for me to pick up and drop off was easy. They even offered delivery if needed for a small fee. Definitely will be using them again

By far the worst customer service I’ve ever received from a special event company. Shane, the general manager sighs incessantly when asked questions over the phone and rolls his eyes in person and uses sarcasm to compensate for his lack of customer service. I specifically asked if the uplights we were renting came with instructions and received an answer of “I assume so”, it would have taken 15 seconds to check to ensure that your customer had a great rental experience, but I assume that’s of zero importance to him. We were given 2 different kinds of lights and zero instructions. Since we were not able to figure out the nuances of the lights we didn’t even use them.

Had an event Thursday at our property and we rented some tables, with a Friday pickup scheduled. They missed the pickup Friday and called at 7:00 AM Saturday to come get them. We informed them we were not open on saturday and they would have to come Monday. They show up on Monday and I direct the gentlemen to the area where the tables are, afterward, I go back into the office to get back to work. I didnt hear anything from them when I get a phone call from the event organizer telling me they they will not move the tables because there were some (empty) catering trays stacked (neatly) on top. I get it, you dont want to touch anything that isnt your, liability reasons. So, I get up and move them. However, the guys from Gingers are no where to be found. I call our organizer back and she tells me that they left. Not only, would need to come back, that we would be charged for coming back. Again, I understand why they didnt want to touch other peoples items, but they couldnt have taken the 30 seconds to walk over to the office to come get me? The complete lack of effort and courtesy to help us avoid additional charges was just really disappointing. There is no shortage of rental options in Baton Rouge, and we will be using someone else next time.

We rented 20 chairs for a Christmas Wine Tasting. The were clean and were quickly loadéd. Great service!

Front desk staff is helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Inventory is diverse and on-trend. But if youre picking up and returning yourself (instead of having items delivered), be prepared for warehouse workers who move slowly and are strangely silent.

I recently had an event and desperately needed some last minute luxe decorations to bring the tables to life. We’re talking about an event in three hours. Virginia stepped up to not only help me but keep me calm. She was professional and kind. I totally lost count on the number of times I thanked and hugged her. I’ve been using Ginger’s for years and highly recommend them.

Inferior products: rain streaming through holes in tent, eventual collapse of tent due to poor installment, velcose missing on chair pads,tables dusty and missing rubber footings, drum fan switch inoperable along with tape wrapped around blade, round table clothes for rectangular tables, couldnt use table skirts due to clips not holding securely to table, unprofessional behavior of a worker, etc.My complaint to management was received defensively: not even an apology.Addendum to review:On June 29, 2019, I received a phone call from the GM of Gingers Rental. Our conversation addressed most of my review concerns, a full apology, and an adjustment in rental cost. Gingers Rentals response reflected an appreciation of their customers and an assurance of who they are and what they represent. Apology accepted!

Reasonably priced. Ordered a cake stand from them for a wedding. Went in there the Monday before I needed it & the girl who helped me was very friendly. The other guy at the desk was rude & sarcastic to other customers. Cake stand was very pretty tho & I had a variety to choose from.

The process of renting tables for our wedding was a breeze. Everyone was professional and very nice, from those I spoke with over the phone to book and pay for the tables to those who loaded them for us. The tables were dirty and needed a good scrub down before we decorated them, but for the price, we were very pleased.

Very disappointed with the man I spoke to over the phone yesterday. He offered up no information on rentals. I had to pull everything out of him. He was not helpful and sounded irritated by my questions. He sounded like he could care less about my business. I ended going with another local company in Baton Rouge that cost a little bit more but was much more pleasant to work with and sounded happy to help.

The call that you are supposed to get before the delivery and before the pick up of the rental never happened BOTH times. They didnt show any interest in rewarding the costumer after the problem caused by not calling when they said they will, seems like they expect their costumers to stop their day and just wait between 9am -4pm to the delivery/pick up people to show up

Good choice to rent a few items for your event Just dont expect to be wowed. Youre on your own here. For a party rental place they are surprisingly dull and unhelpful. Had problems with return of items because the store front doesnt communicate with warehouse so get proof of your returns! The rented items were great and worked as expected so I would likely rent from them again.

My experience was HORRIBLE!!! Tablecloth was stained. Front desk girl was rude and her Manager came out and was just as rude. Location is terrible and the place itself was very dingy. Will never rent from them again. Wish I did not have to give them a star at all

The projector screen was missing one of the keys to keep the screen up but besides that everything including service and prices was great.

Items were delivered on time and in great shape. It made our party so much easier!
