The entire staff is attentive and friendly. The barbers know their stuff. The shop has a pretty cool aesthetic and is kept very clean.

Jared just cut my sons hair and I’ve never seen anything messed up so bad! He showed him a picture of what he wanted...and he literally shaved his head and left a tail in the back! Worst haircut ever. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! When I saw this place online and the reviews I thought it was cool and would be perfect for him with skilled stylists...NOPE!! If I could give “0” stars I would!

Gotten haircuts from Calvin every time I’ve been by. He’s good conversation and good at what he does. Price is a little higher than your typical haircut but I’d say it’s worth it. Would highly recommend.

If you want an excellent haircut by a very talented and professional barber, by all means make an appointment with Calvin Ardroin at Mercer Supply. Hes the best. One of the few barbers Ive encountered who actually listens to the client. His focus is on YOU. Hes not one of those goofballs whos constantly checking their cellphones when theyre supposed to be focusing on your haircut.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They always greet me as soon as I walk in. They serve a complimentary drink, and the atmosphere is calm and clean. It isnt very noisy like a lot of salons. Troy is my regular stylist, and he is always upbeat and ready to get my mess back in order. I prefer Mercer over any other experience I have had.

I went to Merced for the first time recently and I will definitely be back! Calvin took care of me and was able to help me with my cut when I didn’t know exactly what I wanted. The vibe there is great and the conversation is greater. I would suggest this spot to anyone looking for a good cut and a good conversation.

Dwayne Mercer is a fantastic master stylist and his brother Troy is also amazing. The Mercer Bros. have created an amazing atmosphere that is great for both men and women. The staff is cool and the location is even cooler. Whether you need an updo or a beard trim and a haircut, youll be right at home at Mercer Supply. Dwayne is quite popular, tho, so expect a wait to get an appointment for his magic! Hes been doing my hair since 1994!

Mercer supply is in my opinion, the best barbershop and styling salon in Baton Rouge. Theres nothing better than a hot shave with warm towels and a precise razor. Troy is terrific as well as The rest of the staff of Mercer supply company. They also have outstanding gift selections for the men in your life.

Ive had 3 haircuts from this place. The stylists are very nice and mean well, but almost every time I went I left feeling very uncomfortable. I have been asked by multiple stylists my ethnical background because I have very dark hair. This is usually a sign that these stylists dont have a diverse pool of customers, seeing as most people in the world have dark hair. Ive even been asked if I speak my tribal language when I answered I have a little Indigenous heritage like most people in New Mexico (where my family is from). My last experience there made me feel so uncomfortable, that I took a shower as soon as I got home. Even though my hair was styled. Its a shame because I really wanted to keep going back. I just cant subject myself to microaggressions when someone is cutting my hair. If youre a person of color, I would recommend going elsewhere.

I have had beard cuts before but I had the best beard trim ever! I will bring my family and friends. They are friendly and the atmosphere is perfect. I can see this place as being one of my favorite place to be at.
