We bought a rebuilt engine from this place and we’ve been having issues with it ever since.The engine is knocking, oil is leaking, car cuts on and off infrequently

1 star is a lot.bought a motor from them.had it installed.block was cracked.No magnaflux i guess..so they rebuilt my core.we picked the new engine had it installed .started up new engine after priming oil pump of course,now the 2nd motor had a knock.now at this time i brought my truck back to them so they can correct their problem.i got it back and was told it was a bad wrist pin.who does these hot runs or check over there work? Q.A..I WLD NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY AND I TELL ANYONE THAT IS BE CAREFUL=

I recommend Factory Engine Exchange. My 2007 Dodge Charger - my first car, my baby, Ive had since high school - had an engine failure due to low oil in the engine from a broken oil pump.After looking around the internet and getting quotes from multiple places around Baton Rouge, I found Factory Engine Exchange had the best price so I took my Charger in. They said it would take about 2 weeks of working on it to rebuild the engine. They told me ahead of time that all of the services bays were booked for another week or two, and to expect to pick up my car in 3-4 weeks. I arranged with my GF to share her car to get to work.3 weeks later I am picking up my car and she runs great. Factory Engine Exchange kept me up to date on when they started working on the car so I could stay in the know. The engine had a minor ticking that picked up about 2 months later, I took it in, and they had it fixed SAME DAY! They offer a 6 month warranty on long blocks, and 1 year on labor.They are a trustable mechanic. My flywheel is damaged and I needed my car for work this week, the guy explained to me the risk of driving with a damaged flywheel and let me use his knowledge to determine if I wanted to spend the money on a rental car or to just drive with the flywheel until I have a chance for Factory Engine to fix it.Honest, knowledgeable, excellent customer service, and the lowest price I could find. What more can you ask for?I would give 5/5 stars if they expanded their shop and opened more service bays!
