I was calling to get some quotes earlier this week, and I spoke to a young man by the name of G ,you would think he would be quite daft with the name of G, and his politeness and swift work got me 4 quotes in a span of 20 minutes quite quick by my standards! I just wanna say that their responsiveness is off the charts and I recommend doing business with this company. So many adjectives to use to compliment this company so Ill keep it short; easy, fast, kind, and very professional. Once again I see hope in the future, because this company will lead the expedition to bettering ourselves.

I connected with Losey through my accountant in another state just before the holidays. They gave me the option of meeting by telephone on in person and corresponding by mail and fax. My primary residence is in another state, but I chose to meet in person because I wanted a reason to enjoy some great Louisiana food. I waited until I received my vaccine to schedule; however, the office was very clean, everyone was wearing masks, and there was a glass screen down the middle of the conference room table. They gathered a lot of information from me before the meeting and told me the in person meeting would take 4-6 hours. I met with 3 different people and was finished in about 5 hours. They were very organized, educational, and professional. They were very responsive to the changes I made in person from what we thoroughly discussed ahead of the meeting. We connected with my other advisors and attorney through conference call during the meeting. At the end of the meeting they provided me with a list of items for follow-up. I was very impressed! They offer the option of meeting annually or as often as I see fit. I appreciated they want to work directly with me in coordination with the other professionals I engage.

Mr. Losey is definitely on his game. He is very knowledgeable about the products & services he sells. Be prepared to wait & if you have anxiety, take your medicine before your appointment. He is like a mad scientist about his work, and has trouble relaying his message in laymans terms. Nevertheless, he is a keeper. We have sought his financial services for years and feel secure with him.

We’ve been using Losey Insurance for approximately 3 years since we took a Dave Ramsey class. He was recommended through Dave’s website. We have had good relations with he and the staff up until today. My husband was looking for ways to save money per month, and he found a car insurance company that offered the same exact coverage as our current, for $100 cheaper. So my husband faxed Loseys office a request form for him to sign to drop our car insurance that they had recommended and originally signed us up for. No response.So my husband called his office and the woman put Losey on the line. The entire conversation was Losey making my husband feel like he was making horrible financial decisions for our family. My husband could not get ONE word in. He was extremely disrespectful, and was extremely rude for the entire phone conversation. The conversation ended with “Welll I need y’all to come to the office to sign some papers. But I don’t think I’m going to change your mind anyway. So bye.” And he hung up before allowing my husband to respond.Needless to say, we will no longer be using their services, and will no longer be recommending them to friends and family. I feel sorry for his employees.This was posted under my wifes name and they said it didnt occur with someone in their office and they dont have a record of her. Well, my name is Brandon Hebert and they do have my record. This place is horrible- specifically Losey himself. Do not recommend him as an advisor and have contacted Dave Ramseys website about his practices.

A coworker used to mention these people all the time, then she moved away. I had a poor claims experience with the company my family had always had insurance with. I looked up my old co-worker and reached out. I had no idea that there were so many choices for insurance! I should have taken time to do this a long time ago. Their team members obtained quotes from multiple companies and walks you through the process , making sure I knew everything i needed to know before purchasing insurance .I was able to get the best coverage for a cheap price. If your like me and tired of going to other companies where when you leave out the building you feel like you just been bamboozled, COME HERE!! My teammate recommended them for insurance when I relocated to Louisiana because the cost was exponentially more. They obtained quotes from a lot of companies and compared them with me which I really appreciated because I learned some things. They coordinated with the realtor, bank, attorney, and CPA, which again saved me a LOT of time on my closing. They are into antique cars and had a super way to cover my car collection. I had a second meeting with Gary to discuss my long term financial goals. Good things and very smart choice!

Despite my wife and me being probably one of Garys smallest accounts, today he just spent *four hours* reviewing our financial assets; walking us through all of his recommendations, fund by fund; giving us a graduate-level seminar in US financial, political, and legal history; advising us on how to allocate my wifes 401(k)--despite not even managing it and therefore *not making a single dime from helping us*--working with us plan our retirement and our childrens education...it was like watching a financial artisan at work.Play, really, because he truly gets a thrill from it all.I havent even mentioned the rest of his team. They make us feel like were long-lost cousins every single time we walk through the doors.I love these people.

When our friend referred us, our insurance was with several companies, several agents (in different states), and we recently had a poor claim experience. They were very professional and able to put all our homes and cars with one company! The annual meeting is a great review. They are the most knowledgeable insurance people we have ever had.

We were able to get more coverage for less money. He was very patient and thorough. When we left the office, we both thanked God for the course we took. We were under insured and paying too much. Very thorough group of people over at Losey. They are experts. I have purchased insurance with them since 1999. They understand the complicated pieces involved in insurance. I wouldnt see a generalist for a heart transplant, and wouldnt recommend purchasing insurance without a relationship with a professional agent.

My dealing with Mr. Lose is great.

RUN, dont walk, as fast as you can away from this agency. We experienced several issues as their clients. First, was that we asked Gary Losey to roll over my husbands 401(k) from his old employer into an IRA. Gary really emphasized during his sales pitch how he was a good Christian business man who could be trusted. He then handed us papers saying there was no need to review them because they just explained everything he had told us. Little did we know he, without using the word or explaining a variable annuity to us, put us in a variable annuity instead of a traditional IRA. Why did he do this? Because variable annuities make Gary more money than a traditional IRA.Another bad experience we had with Gary was our car insurance. First, he told us to drop UMBI to save money because our health insurance would pay our medical fees if we were hit by an uninsured motorist. THATS A TOTAL LIE! Second, we had an extra car and good friend who was a victim of the flood, so we loaned them our extra car long term while he got things settled. We confirmed with our car insurance company that since the friend was borrowing the car long term, he needed to be added to our insurance policy, so we added him. When Gary found out we did this, he told us it was unnecessary - which was in complete contradiction to what the insurance company had said. And then, heres the kicker, Gary went behind our backs and dropped our friend from the insurance. He was literally borrowing our car for months without us being properly insured, and Gary NEVER told us what he did. When we found out through the insurance agency and confirmed the drop was done by Losey Insurance, we called Gary to tell him not to treat us this way. Gary said he acted in good faith for us. How on Gods green Earth can you act in good faith for a client by keeping them underinsured and putting them up for severe liability?The final straw, at which point we fired Gary, was when we were getting fire and dwelling insurance for one of our rental properties. I told Garys assistant, Angela, to make sure we had the proper coverage to allow dogs because our rental was pet friendly. Angela told me to lie and say we wouldnt have animals to save more money. In case you missed that, SHE TOLD ME TO COMMIT INSURANCE FRAUD. I told her I had assets to protect and needed to be properly insured, and to include the pet coverage, which she finally did. Later, I called Gary to tell him about my poor experience with his employee because I thought an insurance agent would like to know his employee is encouraging clients to commit fraud. Gary started yelling at me and telling me I was a liar! I hung up on Gary, and then he left me a nasty voicemail in which he explained how mad he was I hung up on him.Gary claims hes a good Christian business man, but its clear to me that he cares more about making a couple of extra bucks than serving his clients. The Bible is clear that you cant love both God and money. RUN AWAY FROM THIS MAN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!

I had gotten a cheaper (and better) policy with allstate and so i was gonna cancel my policy with losey. I call the number that pops up on my google search and it tells me that it isnt a working number (strike one). Then after calling progressive they give me the number to losey and im finally able to talk to someone who tells me all i have to do is bring a declaration page of my new insurnace with me and sign a form, i ask her what time they close and she tells me around 530. I drive in the rain at about 3 and bring my required paperwork and another lady tells me i need an appoinment (strike two). So i make the appoinment and show up on time the next day for my appoinment, only to be greeted by a woman who asks my name and i give it to her and she slams the door behind her never for me to see her again (strike three). Then as im sitting in the chair by the door, what appears to be a prominent man in the firm is havibg a meeting with a client, at some point while im waiting for my appoinment ( to sign a paper) the man exits the office and walks by me without even saying good morning or acknowledging im even there (strike four). I finally had a polite young man bring me the form i signed it and i was gone in 1 minute or less. I just have a question or two.1. What would have happened if i needed them, i mean its not like i could google their number.2. Why did i need an appoinment to sign a paper at the reception desk.In short dont use these people they are shady and very rude.

Please please please do not even consider doing buisness with this place. Here is my experience. I did buisness with the agent Frank. Frank messed up my whole policy and when i confronted him, he said oh, did I? Im sorry. He did not do anything to fix the problem. So, i went above his head to the owner Gary Losey I beleive his name is. BIG MISTAKE. From the time this guy picked up the call he was very rude. I even told him straight up, look i did not call to get into an argument or get an attitude. I am just telling you what happened. He talked over me louder and louder everytime I spoke. He was trying to get into my personal buisness which is by no means his buisness. He went in and out of anger and then nice at least 5 times. He seriously had the behavior of someone on drugs or extremely bipolar. I eventually had to hang up on him because he ended up yelling at me saying, you want to cancel your policy? I even told him somewhere in the conversation that he does not need to own a buisness acting like that. I own a small buisness and have been the manager of an apartment complex and hair salon before and would have never ever spoke to a customer in this way. I have reported this whole buisness to the better buisness bureau. I see that some people in comments have had these same problems with Gary and this does not suprise me at all. This guy is a ticking time bomb. Geez. After this 6 months, I will not be doing buisness with this place again and I do not recommend this buisness to family, friends or anyone. There are better places out there that will be way nicer and respectful. Im not even sure how he gets away with talking to people in that way. I advise everyone who had a bad experience to contact the better buisness bureau. He needs to seriously be shut down for getting over on people and his attitude. Great day to everyone.

Was put in touch with Gary Losey via the Dave Ramsey ELP program. Decided not to do business with him, told him so, yet he continued to call for months on end. Only calls on nights and weekends. When I told him Saturdays are not normal business hours, his response was when Im in the office its business hours and questioned me as to what line of work Im in where I dont have to work weekends. I went from a potential customer to a never in a million years customer. Very confrontational on the phone if you try to get a word into conversation. Would not recommend and had to file a complaint with Dave Ramseys ELP program over our experience. Does not take no for an answer. Just an odd and bad experience.

Losey? I think they meant LOUSY. Just like the services they provide. One star is FAR too much. All i’ve ever experienced here is garbage customer service, a huge attitude once you start asking questions and not sticking to their word. Read what the other negative reviews are saying and think about if this is what you feel like dealing with in the future. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, big mistake on my part. Still living with the consequences of their immense incompetence and I know many others are too.
