Megan has been so helpful from the office to me as resident! Any time I need anything I can call and I know I will be helped immediately! I love living here with my dog. The gated community makes me feels so safe. I plan on living here for years to come!

I was in search of an apartment home so I was calling around the Baton Rouge area to secure availability dates for housing and tours before making the 4 hour drive. I spoke with Ashley on Wednesday and was told that the apartment home was available to move in on my expected date and tours of a C Floor Plan was available to tour. I scheduled the tour and went on Friday. When I got in, the leasing agent told me that they actually had no apartment homes available to move in or to tour. I was told that the leasing office did not have any keys to the vacant room they did have as they have been dispersed to vendors. A leasing office of an apartment complex with no key? Huh? Frustrated, I wanted to speak with Ashley. She looked at my parents and I and said that they dont like to cancel tours because they can show the grounds and show virtual tours. ......I can view a 3D tour on my phone at home.Communication is important.

If I could give this place more stars, I WOULD! Great office staff and maintenance is always so friendly and quick! In the front office, Megan is simply the sweetest person there is. I was waiting for a package for WEEKS and she did as much as she could to help me figure out what was going on with my package. When it finally showed up at the property, she did not even email me, she IMMEDIATELY called to tell me my package had arrived!! She is also great with my dog and my dog is literally in love with her. Great job Mansions! I definitely recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for the best of the best!

I am Canadian and came down for work. I had clarified with the rental staff that I needed a 6 month lease which was on the site at the time. I was told they could do that with approval. I filled out the form they gave me in the term as 6m-1y. They circled the 1yr and did not tell me that the lease would not be approved for shorter than that. I drove 4000km to get there in the middle of a pandemic expecting to be able to stay somewhere. 1 day before I got there I went to sign the lease and thats when I found out. I will only be there for 8 months and that means I would pay and unbelievable amount of rent Id I cancelled early. Their buyout, just in case you were wondering, and you should... Is you have to give 2 months notice and then pay one months rent as well for a penalty. So if you have to move out within a month, you pay 3 months of rent. If you work in the energy industry dont bother staying here. We all know how unstable the work periods are. To be told I would also not get back my deposit, after a misunderstanding in communication in the middle of a pandemic is heartless. It really gives you a feel for how these people do business. You make your choice but people will remember how you treated them in this time. I was left with no home. And they knew that.

Mansions in the Park is a really great property. Facilities are nice, staff is helpful and attentive, and the grounds are beautiful. Well located in Baton Rouge - a real bargain for what you get! Many of the reviews talk about neighbor issues, but I havent encountered a single one! Everyone seems to really love living here.

I edited my review because of recent events.WARNING: Not ADA compliant. They tried to raise our rent, in the middle of a national crisis, arguing that its below market price for a first floor apartment. Thing is, they dont have any elevators or ramps, so how am I supposed to move upstairs? Also, people continuously park in the handicapped spot without proper tags. I call the leasing office all the time but they never bother to do anything about it.This is a really hostile environment for people with disabilities. The only employees who are willing to do something about it are the maintenance men, believe it or not. They have been the most helpful. Its a shame because the campus is beautful and well taken care of, locaton is awesome, upgrades inside the apartments are beautiful, a dog park, and its a gated community. But the managers and leasing assistants are some of the most incompetent people Ive ever met, for more reasons than accommodating people with disabilities. Ive never had a good experience with the leasing office or management property employees other than Olivia, who is gone now. Although this may not be a deal breaker for some, when you have issues and need to interact with these people daily (they are in charge of your mail), its enough to not renew your lease. You can find better apartments for a better price, with employees who treat you with actual respect.

I left a poor review several months ago that I can not seem to update with a follow up. Long story short, my upstairs neighbor was up at all hours of the night. I was getting little to no sleep. The neighbor turned out to be a employee of The Mansions in the Park. I reported it several times and didnt quite get the response I was hoping for so I decided to leave a poor review.Although it took some time and several reports, my neighbor has been relocated to another area. The manager and staff including my neighbor, has remained professional throughout the entire process. We decided to re-sign our lease and will be residents for at least another year. I recommend living here. Our circumstances were difficult to navigate but we were not ignored or treated differently for it.The grounds here are beautiful and we never have a problem having anything serviced within the apartment. The location of the apartments is convenient and within a few minutes from everything Baton Rouge has to offer.

I’ve lived in several apartments in different cities and this was by fast the worst. Not to mention since OliviaLeft it’s hard to communicate with ANYONE about any issues . The renovations are cute but cheap . Literally the most expensive one bed room I’ve lived in but the poorest quality . The curtest security officer is nice.

I have lived at the Mansions for almost year. I chose this complex because of the central location to everything and the dog park. My neighbors here have been great. However, that is where the good reviews end.If you are a student, someone who works nights, or works from home, do not live here. I have spent my last year of law school (including studying for the bar) listening to and dealing with continuous construction. As one could imagine, hardly any studying can be done at home during the day and even into the late evenings. Further, the workers busted a pipe that leaked into my apartment. It took nearly 3 weeks of work requests for the front office and maintenance to finally look at the obvious water damage to my apartment, only for maintenance to tell me it was fixed and to send an email later claiming I could not tell the difference between running and dripping water - though surely the rude comments about me werent intended to be sent to me. The front office was also horribly rude when dealing with this issue. The complex feels safe but there is very little lighting to walk dogs at night (even though residents have complained to the front office about this and have been told it isnt important) and the front gate almost never works. For the amount of money it costs to live at the Mansions, it is not worth it.

I submitted an online request for information regarding renting an apartment here. No one replied. Ive since located another apartment with more affordable rent in the same location area that actually managed to have time to correspond with me. Im only leaving this review as I find a lack of response to be extremely poor management/service. Its discouraging as Id heard wonderful things regarding this complex from a friend, I guess its gone down the last couple years.

My sister and I lived there for one year. The floors/walls are VERY thin. We could hear the person above us and below us at all times, very loudly. It sounded as though the person above us was stomping at all times. Our apartment was apparently “updated”, but every single knob on the drawers came loose within the first week because the screws were not placed correctly. Very cheaply made. Would not recommend.

I absolutely love my apartment. Its what I imagined when I pictured what i wanted. Compared to every other apartment complex I visited, this is the most mordern looking one. The kitchen is all white and clean looking. The floors is a nice wood. They are still renovating but it hasnt been a problem to me. Noise wise, I do not hear my neighbors unless they are occasionally going up and down the stairs. During the process of getting the apartment, I had a lot of questions. Olivia was wonderful and respectful with answering all of them. Not going to lie, she had a big influence on me picking this apartment. I knew if I had an issue, I could comfortable come to her about it. That is HUGE, especially coming to an area youre not familiar with.

Unbelievably unprofessional management.I was very excited to sign a lease here, but that changed while on a call with Ashley the leasing agent. She thought the phone was muted and was talking to a coworker; she said that she thinks my girlfriend is a psycho and that she hoped we did not sign a lease there. I called her supervisor, Gary, to complain and neither he nor Ashley even bothered to apologize for the incident until I told him I could not believe they hadn’t apologized to us. He did nothing to make it up to us. I will never lease with this company at any of their properties if this is how they treat their customers.

Currently living here and I get absolutely no sleep. Upstair tenants are constantly running, dancing... I guess training for the Olympics from 6am till 2am every night. Ive told the front desk and they informed me the TENANT ACTUALLY WORKS HERE. This has been going on for 2 months! The office made us live on the bottom floor because we have a dog. I will not be resigning a lease in the spring.

I moved in during September and this has been a complete nightmare. First the apartment wasn’t ready upon moving in. There was paint on the floor, the blinds in the living room fell apart, the dryer was not hooked up, and still to this day there are no tact strips under the carpet to each bedroom door. When we first moved in construction was so loud and you could physically feel them moving and slamming things around in the apt across from us. We weren’t informed of the contruction prior to moving in even though we made it very clear that I work overnight in New Orleans and could not live in a noisy environment. We’ve contacted the office a numerous amount of times to place a work order in to fix these problems and the only thing that was immediately fixed was the dryer. Not to mention the maintenance man that came to fix the dryer stayed on the phone arguing and cursing with his “Bae” (girlfriend) the entire time he worked on the dryer and even continuously walked in and out of the apt to complete his argument instead of the work order because the cell reception in our apt is horrible. Next, we live on the second floor and the people on the 3rd floor sounds as though they are flipping their sofa on its back or wrestling and gymnastics all hours of the day. Its so bad to the point I can physically feel my bed shaking and it wakes me up out of my sleep. Weve complained and asked them to investigate the noise but every time we speak to someone in the office they say oh we forgot sorry well check into it and then we never hear from them again. Weve sent recordings and even offered for them to come physically experience the ruckus so that they can see were not exaggerating but the office doesnt return phone calls or emails they sit around and do nothing until its time to collect rent. The manager still has not even replied to our initial email from before we moved in. The 3rd floor residents went from denying that they are making the noise and saying they didnt know what we were talking about to now claiming they hear the same noise too. They are trying to make us believe the noise is coming from the apt behind us even though the floor plan of the apt clearly shows the noise is coming more so in an area at the corner of the apt completely away from any other apt except the apt above. Ive tried to be as understanding as possible but working a 10 hr shift in New Orleans and then driving back with absolutely no sleep is causing me to run off the road or pull over to take a nap because when I get home from work the noise from the residents upstairs has started and will not stop until around 11 pm so that means no sleep for me. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND LIVING HERE TO ANYONE! Im basically paying for a storage unit here because it damn sure isnt a home. Oh and we’ve asked about a transfer several times only to be told it was a $500 fee but they still haven’t replied on when and where the transfer would be available and at this point I just don’t even want to stay at this property anymore.

Unless you plan on selling your kidney to pay for all the fees they scam you into I would not move here. The apartments are average, and priced high, with outdated amenities, and ancient A/C units that will take about 3 days to get fixed if broken. The last month has been miserable with the construction. I woke up to three men outside of my window screaming at eachother this morning and I have an apartment on the third floor... the fire alarm has been set off by them twice. The only good thing about this place is the skate park next door and the rum house. Worst apartment experience I have ever had.
