This was my first time here and I was desperate to get my color fixed and the way I had been asking for years but no one could do it. Beth was absolutely amazing and understood everything I said. She was very knowledgeable and actually educated me to stay with my natural blonde versus trying to go lighter.I almost cried when she dried my hair. It was absolutely beautiful and the gold tones were gone. It matched my skin tone perfectly and the best part is my hair felt so healthy after I couldnt believe it.It is worth every penny that I spent and Beth has a client for life. (We also had amazing conversation too) Every employee working was very nice and professional.

Kelly is amazing! I was looking for hair extensions for my very thin, very fine hair and Kelly did not disappoint. She made the process so easy, and made sure she cut and colored the extensions to match my hair flawlessly. Such a great investment and it is always a pleasure to work with Kelly. I won’t go anywhere else, and I live 45 min away!

I have been going to Katrina Salon for several years now. I followed my stylist Kelly there after she joined them from another location. Kelly does everything for me-color, cut, keratin, and extensions. Always done expertly and professionally! The salon itself is equally as wonderful. I also find the use of Aveda products has been great on the overall health of my hair.

I waited a year for a professional hair cut during the pandemic and this place made me look like myself again! Even better than before if I do say so myself. My husband did a double take when I got home and a month later still comments on how nice my hair looks.

My personal experience with this salon. First impression was wonderful. Front desk is very welcoming and friendly. I had an appointment set up with Kelly. she was also very nice and friendly. you could tell that shes been doing her job for a while she was very confident when speaking. I had a consultation for my hair to receive hair extensions. Im a bit indecisive and couldnt tell what color matched my hair color because i did NOT want to color my hair. she helped and she made the decision for me. I trusted her. The day the service came she installed the extensions. the service was fine but the color was NOT correct. by the time I got home I went in the mirror and started to play with my new hair. I noticed that the color was very wrong my hair is ash brown and these extensions that Kelly picked for me were a warm red brown. totally did not match. I was unhappy to say the least. I then went in again to speak with someone else about my options. Spoke with a different stylist since Kelly was off. She was SUPER sweet and very understanding. but at this time I just wanted them to take the extensions out. This is where the nightmare began. I was told the owner Katrina will be calling me to further discuss what was going on. I received a phone call from Kelly the stylist that did my hair from her personal number. She asked me what was going on. The moment I told her how unhappy I am she began to yell at me I asked her why she is yelling at me. I asked her several time to stop yelling. She was getting very angry and mad. I found this VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.Katrina the owner then called me up and we spoke. We had a decent conversation. I told her i wanted to take the extensions out and she was explaining that we can color them. But i did not want to color my hair or mess anymore with the extension. I requested at least half of a refund for the service i received and she refused. she kept mentioning how she has built a million dollar company and that if you buy jeans from Express and wear them you cant return them. Her analogy was incorrect. She mentioned that she is the best at hair color and no one is better than her with all her years of experience. However I already trusted Kelly with her 12 years of experience with hair extensions and that did not turn out well.All in all my whole experience with this salon was HORRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL with the stylist calling me up and yelling at me and blaming me for the service / color she picked out.I do not recommend this salon.

I tried this place shortly after moving to Batavia. I asked for a master stylist. My “master stylist” was brand new to the salon, her first week I believe, but I was reassured that she had been a stylist for a long time. She turned my hair a blonde orange color. I have had better results with an at home box color. I would only go here if you know the stylist and have seen their work.

I had my hair done here in September. I paid extra for Kelly because she’s a master stylist. I told her I wanted highlights or all over color because I’ve gotten many balayages and felt they don’t get me light enough around my face and the top of my head. She talked me into a balayage, saying “I know how to do my job.” Then she gave me a shadow root which I also didn’t ask for, and again condescendingly told me to trust her because she knows how to do her job. When I got home I realized the entire back of my head was EXTREMELY dark while the rest of my hair was almost platinum. I went to get it fixed the next day and after having it washed a second time realized my hair was falling out like crazy because she fried it even though I asked her to put the bleach on the parts that weren’t already super light because I have very fine hair that can’t take another round of bleach. I paid around $250 to get my hair destroyed. I complained and got no money back or services offered, all I had done was a botanical treatment that I of course had to pay for. I asked to speak to the owner but never got a call back. The only reason I give 2 stars is because another stylist there gave me a free haircut (I think it was Taylor). I’m posting this now because it’s been months since this happened and my hair still looks awful. It’s so short and the bottom is completely dry, and there are parts in the back where it’s as short as coming up to my neck. My hair used to be halfway down my back. It keeps breaking and not even Olaplex can save it!

Got my haircut here recently. The owner is a true professional who actually teaches classes elsewhere on how to cut hair. The atmosphere is really sophisticated and the staff was kind, friendly, and helpful.The salon is located on the river street walk and it’s right across from the used bookstore. That part of downtown can get fairly dark at night during the winter months but I’ve found that the salon is pretty well lit which makes it easier to find than most places in that part of downtown Batavia.

Wonderful staff that was very welcoming. My hair looks and feels amazing, Ulysses was fantastic! During the pandemic they are paying close attention to sanitizing the salon and keeping it safe. I really appreciated all of their efforts!

Staff was incredibly polite. I got a no chip manicure and am very pleased. Salon was sanitary and had beautiful decorations. Would definitely recommend to friends and family

Marissa is AMAZING! I have short hair and she is just amazing. She cuts my hair both wet and dry which I think gives great results. I am picky about my cuts and my hair and I never have a complaint about her cuts. My haircuts grow out amazing as well. Many of my friends are shocked that I can go 10 weeks without a hair cut because it is so short. She also does a great job at color. Just all around a great stylist! Highly recommend her.

Katrina Salon is beautiful and I love the atmosphere. They go out of their way to make you comfortable. Even the cushy chairs by the sinks are exceptional! Ulysses is a master of his craft. He was so precise with my hair cut and color, it at times felt like he was performing surgery on it. This place is very luxurious and adds lots of little things to add up to a spa-like experience (fresh hot tea, complimentary aromatherapy, deep conditioning at no charge). Always a pleasant surprise.

Extremely talented hair stylist, Andra, has been my magician over these years, not just my beautician! She treats me with sincere kindness no matter my physical or emotional state. When I moved back to IL a few years ago, I had a difficult time finding someone that I liked to do my hair. I found Gwyn at Katrina and have been going to her for 2-3 years now and she has been great. My hair is natural looking and healthy and she is very personable, patient and considerate. I would not go to anybody else.

I have been enjoying Katrinas services for the past three years and like the services I have had but my visit yesterday made me a customer for life! It happened like this... I brought my daughter in for a haircut and I was struggling with a migraine. I decided to ask the front desk if there was any type of scalp massage or similar service I could book right way to help alleviate the pain. The staff was VERY accommodating and whisked me back with an AMAZING therapist named Araba. Her compassion and professionalism quickly calmed the pain of my migraine. Love this place! Little things like cucumbers on your eyes, peppermint oil in your hair, hot towels during the conditioning process are what makes this place different and special. Ive seen a few different people over the years and everyone has been very talented.

Everyone is prompt and friendly. It’s very clean and pretty inside. Julia did a wax for me and it was the best I’ve ever had, and Lilly I’ve seen a few times now for manicure and she is excellent.

This place was cool, my wife came here and got highlights and a cut and she was soooo happy she wanted me to experience it for myself, it was really a great time and they massaged my head and everything so so cool, But i am a man who doesnt need all the bells and whistles so i think the hair cut was very expensive for myself. BUT, it was an experience and everyone should do it at least once in their life. Interior was cool and all employees seemed happy to work there.

I have recently needed to find a new hair salon because my old stylist had a baby and my back up stylist moved to North Carolina. I have been stressing about going to a new stylist because I am very particular about my hair. After waiting way too long I decided it was time to find a new place. This salon has great reviews for a good reason. It was very easy to make an appointment I was able to get in that morning on a Saturday. I was dyeing my hair from blonde to brunette-first time doing anything like that. Brooklyn did a great job ensuring me the color was going to look great. I love my new color and cut. Brooklyn was great. I would recommend her and this salon to anyone.

I have been to a very high end salon for a bikini wax for years and they recently lost their esthetician so I just looked around on Google for new places. Katrina was in my driving range and had good prices so I figured why not?! I am BEYOND AMAZED with the job Christin did!! It was the most perfect waxing I had ever gotten done. I was not uncomfortable at all, and she was so sweet. I will be forever going here as long as I can!!

They called me at 12:00 pm to ask if I could switch my appointment from 1:00 pm to 12:45 pm that day. I was working on something but agreed to switch. I arrived at 12:42 only to sit in the waiting area until a little after 1, my original booking time! No one even came up to me during the time I was waiting to let me know it would be a few minutes. I left the salon.
