I didnt call spectrum my neighbor did, the installer pounded on my door and with a nasty look on his face and attitude he asked if he could look in my ceiling. Of course I said no, I dont know my neighbor and I didnt appreciate the attitude I got from the Spectrum rep. My neighbors cable shouldnt have anything in my residence. Ill never call Spectrum after this experience!

The personal service is great, but the cost very high. Monthly subscription rates just went up again. Only have basic cable and Internet and the service is sometimes sketchy. Looking for less expensive options.

The location is usually pretty good for some in person assistance with your spectrum accounts... the staff is usually very good to deal with..The only negative are its sometimes overwhelming busy as they only have 2 stations and some transactions take more time than others and a line and wait times can growThe other negative is spectrum as a company seems less flexible then TWC and value for services isnt great after promotions wear off

I dont have any affiliation (no friends or relatives, stock, etc....) with Spectrum. I have had top notch service from both the local store in Batavia and via the main Customer Service number.Initially my 85 y/o mother-in-law was getting all three service from Spectrum (transferred from Time Warner) and paying around $250 /month. She needs a land line for a medical assistance device. When I found out, they were able to reduce her channel line-up and internet speed and was able to save $90 /mo.Her health has been declining so we relocated to NY to help her out. We are used to having more channels and a DVR. They have been very helpful and accommodating and even procured a channel plan that did not raise the price! (DVR was only $4.99 /mo. extra).Thank you Spectrum employees - we have had no service outages and our internet has been excellent. Any time weve needed assistance they have been very helpful and professional.

Contacted 7 times in a month to attempt to revive our old internet from before the acquisition of TWC by Charter. Reliable sometimes, cuts out at complete random times, and sometimes the line teams never show up to the job to replace lines. The companies poor, the techs are poor, this entire company has declined. Do NOT subscribe to Spectrum services for internet, I would recommend hooking up with another provider like Verizon or ATT, because you should not need to deal with this service provider.

Local time Warner office. You can exchange/upgrade equipment. You can talk about your bill and not have to worry about your call center experience. As far as time Warner experience goes, this location is 5 star

There was only two people working counter and both had a customer. I was sitting on the bench waiting my turn when an employee came out from back to pay his bill. The guy saw me weighting but still tryed to cut in line. She made it clear that i was next. I did let the gut go ahead. It was just amazing to see the worker behind the counter care. I would go to this store any time. Some people do still care about others

Have been having problems with cable service in my area for over a month they do a quick check replace a line and call it fixed NOT!!! then the cable dvr boxes and set top boxes are JUNK, they say they are new but there not their just refurbished junk. I replaced both boxes in one day and the dvr box immediately started rebooting itself several time in the same day totally irresponsible for the prices we pay for their services. WAKE UP TWC/SPECTRUM and service your customers!!!!!

TWC/Spectrum has the worst cable service Ive ever had. Unfortunately Verizon FiOS doesnt go to my place otherwise I wouldve picked that hands down. Also these guys throttle your speeds. They are overpriced. They also have horrible techs too. They need to minimally get them trained to kinda know what they are doing.

Recently lost my house to a house fire. 100%loss. Got a bill for the equipment on my last cable bill. So I went to the Batavia office to see what was needed to remove equipment charges. Went a second time with paperwork from Genesee County Fire Marshall. One lady took a copy of my paperwork and the another lady said we need a police report. Spoke with the police and was told there was no police report because it wasnt a criminal act it was an electrical fire. So I called customer service a few weeks after to settle my bill. Batavia office never started a ticket for removal for equipment loss. So I need to do their job to get equipment removed from bill. Fyi you need either paperwork from the police OR fire marshall. The key is EITHER, which I gave them! My house burnt to the ground with only the clothes on our backs left. I would have saved my 6 pets that died in the fire over our equipment!!! This company is so large nobody is held accountable for horrible customer service!!!!! Ive been dealing with a lot of companies since the fire and Batavia Spectrum is the only place that has given me trouble.

Time Warner cable provides the worst service i have ever experienced. i would rather use a toaster with forks stuck in it for a router. The only reason i use it is because they are the only ones that cover my area. If you have the choice choose any other provider every month my service becomes slow and some person comes out and replaces stuff because they have no idea what the problem is.

Horrible internet and cable and very expensive. Cut cable went to just internet and they say is supposed to be better now that its spectrum but its worse than before. Never had bad service from TimeWarner/Spectrum. Always Fast, Always Friendly. If ever there was an issue, which was rare, they would compensate for it with a simple call. 5 Starz.*To the people complaining about Time Warner/Spectrum..Be sure to be kind as you will be treated as you treat others..Rudeness and ignorance will get you no where with any company. If you have had problems its because you didnt address said issues with respect and patience. Ive had their Service for 2 years now, and 10 before that when I lived with my parents, and even then not being the owner of the account in question, they would still tend to my every need if requested, without hesitation. And all I had to do was be nice about it. Try it, It will go a long way.Honestly to the people ranting in these reviews, these problems all sound like YOU problems not TWC problems...If your TV is stuttering and cutting out chances are you need new lines ran which would have been done at installation had you asked, they respect everyone and their wishes if asked politely..If you have a problem with this particular branches hours there are 5 more branches less than 20 miles away from this one, take a ride. If you have an issue with paying your bill, you can always pay your bill online or via telephone. If you have complaints and need to talk to someone they have a 24/7 phone number you can use to get your frustrations out, no need to go to the office and complain to someone who doesnt understand your particular situation cause you are too busy ranting and screaming about it to stop and take the time to explain it.Every post on here that gave a 1star review these all sound like YOU issues..Fix yourself and the rest will fall in line..Get some basic knowledge under your belt so you can correctly identify problems and correctly explain said problems to Customer Support. You cant bi*** just to bi***. I mean you can, but the only person you are making out to be a fool is yourself.

Worst cable I have ever had. Called customer service and they said there was nothing they could do because it was after hours. I can not go to office to complain because they close at 5 and not open on weekends. Complete jome of a company. Channels freeze and become distorted. Cant even watch a tv program after a long day at work. But pay an enormous amount of money monthly to be aggravated. Not even sure how they have 3 star rating. Should be no star rating.

Needed to save some $$$ so I wanted to drop cable and phone and just keep Internet. Was paying $150 for all and just intenet would be $75 for my current 15mbps. When I asked how is it possible it would be that much when they offer that same speed to new customers for under $40, she didnt have an answer so I told them to stick it. Cancelled all and hooked up with Frontier for $50/mth.

I shouldnt be forced to give these dumbasses even one star. There is no company I hate more on Earth than TWC. If it isnt in writing, dont take their word for it. On the technical side, they have probably been to my house a dozen times in two years to fix their signal. Run speed tests. Dont take no for an answer. These people are incompetent crooks.

Never got it working properly after installation, and then after several hours of dealing with technical support and two home visits to fix it, I finally cancelled the service. Cancelling the service took me several more hours; they conveniently dropped my call after I waited on hold for 20 minutes and spent another 30 minutes (!!!!!) telling them that I really did want it cancelled. After dropping my call, no one called me back, and I had to go through the whole thing again. They told me I would have to drop off my equipment to their nearest facility (45 miles away) or I would have to pay for them to send me boxes to mail the equipment to them. I went to the nearest location, and after waiting over an hour for my turn, I was only #18 in the line, and had to leave for my next appointment. I had another phone call and three online chats asking for them to just send me the boxes, and still no boxes!!! Not to mention... you have to wait at least 15 minutes each time you call to get a representative. I just called another time, and they hung up on me again after saying, Let me put you on hold to see why we have not sent you boxes. I am going back to DirectTV; never had issues with their service AND they made it easy for me to cancel and return the equipment to them. I changed for a deal Time Warner had, but with all their add-ons, it was not any less expensive than DirectTV. I cannot believe how much time and money I wasted with this unscrupulous company.

Have to contact them about problems with my service at least once a month sometimes up to 7 times a month. We pay for the best internet plan available and its slow me and my brother cant both use the internet because it will freeze. Its freezes as I write this. They interrupted my service because of a late bill and I told them my vehicle broke down over a week ago and people have been trying to fix it but they cant find out the problem with it and they act like they expect to me go walk there and pay it. They are not considerate to anyones problem. I am thinking about changing to another cable company. I would advise anyone who is thinking about this company to just walk away because its not worth it. Spend so much money a month for crap services
