Terrible mistreatment of loyal paying and repeat customer. Prey that Jennifer (manager in training) an employee at Hertz is not working when u go to rent. This woman a snake in the grass and is a VERY bad representation of the Hertz Brand. Managers at this location seem to take the employees side and show 0% customer service. They act like they are doing the customers a service......Please dont rent from the location. Lets teach them how important the customer is to a business.Customers BEWARE do not leave anything negative about them in a email survey that is sent after the rental is completed. Even if the employee acted inappropriate and rude. If you dare express your anger and frustration! As a reward Joyce and Mike the managers will Ban/Flag The Customer to never be able to rent at there locations. Even though the customer was mistreated and abused verbally by the employee. There answer is Ban the customer from renting. PLEASE DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION OR THE APPLE VALLEY LOCATION! Give them what they want NO CUSTOMERS!!!! Lets see how long they will have a job without customers. They get 0% for customer service. Turns out the Barstow location has no security camera or audio so if you ask them to review the video.....There are none! PLEASE DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION OR THE APPLE VALLEY LOCATION! Give management what they want NO CUSTOMERS!!!!

Location has just moved so there getting set up its just down the way from the location is at signature auto collision shop at the back end and across from American tire Depot I spoke to Liz she was very kind please be patient she she a older lady but will assist you in whatever you need my car was clean only one minor scratches on it and interior was also clean

Prices competitive, cars excellent, staff excellent and graciously accomodating to special needs and situations. Local staff available and answer their phones. Easy to find and park at 631 W Main.

Loved the service, and loved the upbeat attitude of the lady I worked with but my only complaint is they dont have very many cars on the lot. Only a small hand full. But would definitely recommend if using this company at this location :)

I cant understand why anyone would give this location a bad review. I have always had an excellent experience when renting. True, there isnt much selection in vehicles, but this is BARSTOW. Its a small town. You cant expect the same size fleet as LAX or Vegas.The ladies who run the place are delightful. They are always polite and helpful, especially Jennifer. The bad review from Sam is nothing more than a childish tantrum from a person who is not even allowed to rent from Hertz.

Terrible customer service and the employees are rude and out of touch. Cars are old, high mileage and gross. Returned the car the next day. Will never rent from them ever again!

This location sucks and so do the people who work there. Car was filthy and almost 37000 miles......They seem not to care at all about the customers concerns or needs. I think they just have 1 or 2 cars to rent. WILL NEVER RENT from this location ever!!

Good car and nice view of the city from the hilltop store. The new car was only 300 miles drive and new car. My car broke down in barstow. california so we add a different car with a trip to las vegas and back for another car. Somewhat of dust in the dashboard but clean ride to las vegas.

Terrible location. Never any cars, even though they say so when you do a reservation. Avoid this location. Youll be stranded if you do.

Hertz sucks. I hope Hertz company goes out of business soon. They have horrible employees and there customer service is a big fat Zero......Like Jennifer. Avoid this location at all costs.
