Delayed review. Was supposed to write this last week itself. These guys replaced 8 windows at my fathers home. He is extremely happy with the result.

My experience with Friendly Windows ended up being such a disappointment and I am NOT a person to typically write scathing reviews, but feel people need to know about my experience because all the other reviews are so great! I was very excited to hopefully be another great review of this place. Ultimately, they completely fell off the face of the planet and never got back to me. Heres how my experience went.When I first called, I left a message asking for someone to come out and give us a quote for windows and a few door replacements. I got a return call within 1 day (maybe even the same day) - great! Someone would come out. The person who gave the assessment was polite and friendly, though he did seem a bit young. But overall the assessment experience was great. Covid precautions in place which made me feel comfortable. He took measurements of everything, and said it would be a few days to get back to us with the proposal. We got it within a couple of days, and I had a few modifications to make, and some questions which were answered promptly. Everything was going well!We got to an agreement on the proposal/contract, and I emailed saying we would like to move forward and asked what are the next steps. We ordered a new front door and sliding door based on guidance from our main contact. They said they would be in my area the upcoming weekend, and could they come by to do final measurements. Unfortunately we were not going to be around that weekend, so I replied saying we wouldnt be around but could they come some day the following week. No response.I followed up via text with our primary contact, and email, and phone call to the office. I gave them a final chance to respond after a few weeks of zero contact - via email and by phone. The phone number now goes to an empty line so far as I can tell - says this voicemail hasnt been set up yet.So disappointing. Was so excited by so many positive reviews, the initial meeting and measuring and contracting went smoothly...then, nothing. I really tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but ultimately, they lost my business from a complete and total lack of responding. Bummer! Wish I knew what happened. Now Ive spent $3,000 on new doors and have to find another company to come install them. And, were back to square one on the windows.

Great company. They replaced all the windows in my house. Changed the whole look of it, it looks amazing. They kept it clean the whole time. After this finished they cleaned around the work area. Ive learned my lesson from dealing with an unprofessional window installation company in the past.To say that the experience with that company was unpleasant would be an understatement. They were competitively priced, so I went with them. Their crew came early morning and worked without stop until they were finished. No mess left behind. They even put my blinds back up for me. Very happy with my window installation project for my rental project. Friendly was the last of 4 estimates I had done and they came in at the lowest price despite needing custom sized doors made. (Other companies came close to double their quoted amount, one even saying theyd try to make the standard size doors work instead of the custom size needed.) I was impressed that David called the window manufacturer onsite to get an accurate estimate for the job, and the price quoted to me stayed true to the end! I met the owner and the installer prior to the installation for the measure check and both were very nice and professional throughout. My only criticism would be that the communication was a little confusing between texts and calls and emails from different people, but always pleasant. I highly recommend giving them a call for a quote for your windows and door needs. Ill be calling again when were ready to replace the windows for my primary residence!
