We have had the best experience for the past two years with our son at Quest. The highly trained and professional instructors have helped our son gain confidence and focus. He is always excited to go to class. His peer group at Quest is also exceptional with kids that demonstrate respect and kindness towards others. As a busy parent, I also appreciate the flexibility with classes 6 days a week to choose from. My daughter has recently started classes too. I appreciate her having strong female role models. It is a wonderful program and you should not hesitate to enroll your child.

The best thing I have ever done for myself is to join the quest family. I love the yes you can attitude of everyone involved with their program. It is so awesome for children. I am amazed at what the children can do in such a short time. It also works for the older generation. I was 63 years young when I started karate and had never imagined myself doing karate until that time. Today I can truly say I love going to class every week. Come and join us you will not be disappointed.

I have two sons that are part of the Quest Martial Arts program, and Im thoroughly impressed by the growth Ive seen. My oldest has more confidence and handles change with a larger degree of confidence. My youngest is no longer shy. He interacts fluidly with anyone, young kids to mature adults. Its been an amazing transformation. I also have gained confidence and presence at Quest Martial Arts. Change doesnt make me as anxious any more, and physically Im in better shape.

My son has been taking karate at Quest since he was 3 years old. He is now almost 17 and this was the best thing we have ever done. Quest has taught him not only karate but an incredible amount of leadership qualities. This is a great program with excellent instructors. I highly encourage doing an introductory class.

Quest is my favorite place to be. The 13 years I’ve spent training have no doubt shaped the person I am today. The community and environment at Quest is supportive and encourages learning and growing. The high levels of focus on life skills and attributes make Quest an EXTREMELY practical and useful school. I love Quest and would recommend it to anyone who wants to try karate, develop important life skills, or just be a part of something amazing.

Though I started taking classes at Quest 4 years ago, I’ve been a part of the Quest family for longer than that. My oldest started taking classes 9 years ago. Walking through Quest’s doors all those years ago is one of the best things I’ve done. I’ve watched my daughter’s confidence and self esteem increase by a lot. I’ve watched my sons’ focus and self discipline grow. For me, personally, deciding to take classes was one of the best things I could have done. I’ve made friends, I’ve gained strength and confidence I didn’t know was possible. My only regret was not starting sooner - I wish I had the courage to take classes when my kids started!

My son has been going to Quest for almost 2 years. They go above and beyond, teaching not just the physical aspects of karate but also working hard to instill life skills and create a warm and comforting environment. I also love the other programs they offer (trunk or treat, parents night out, etc)! Highly recommend!

Quest is our girls favorite place to be. They’ve both been training since the day they turned 3 and can’t imagine our lives without it. It’s so much more than what you think of when you hear “martial arts”. It’s a family, it’s life skills, it’s self discipline, it’s fun, it’s a lifestyle and so much more. You will never regret the investment in your child’s life.

I have been going to Quest for over 15 years. The program has shaped me into a better leader and a vastly more confident person than I ever could have dreamed of becoming. Quest is an environment like no other I have experienced in my life. There is a mutual admiration and respect among every person, student, teacher, parent, etc. Teachers truly care for your personal development as an individual. They lift you up to become a stronger human being. This place will help you when you fall and push you to become your best self, all while developing relationships that last for the rest of your life. I am proud to call Quest my family.

Today my son was feeling extra down. On video class the senseis noticed and gave him extra encouragment. Amazing care for their students. I also have a special needs son who has greatly benefited from all the Quest Senseis and sempis. Cant recommend them enough. They have gone way beyond in this global nightmare. Thank you Quest.Well now I wish there were more than 5 stars. During stay at home orders Quest has done so very much extra with no extra charge. Spending their time to give to the community. Today they came by to do a birthday parade for my son. I cant say enough good things about them. They exemplify the best humanity can be.

The Quest program and faculty has helped our once insecure and anxious child to be confident, has increased her self esteem and is teaching her self discipline and belief in herself. The staff is able to address the individual needs of each child in a group setting and places the utmost emphasis on the life skills discipline, belief, communication, respect, honesty and self esteem. We are so grateful to the Quest family!

We originally signed our daughter up for martial arts classes for her to learn self defense and to improve her strength and balance, but it has proven to teach her so much more. We love that Quest incorporates many life skills into their classes: honesty, self-esteem, respect, belief in oneself, etc. The difference Quest has made in our daughter’s confidence and determination has been truely remarkable.

We weren’t entirely sure what to expect when our first grader started at Quest during an after school program, and we honestly thought it would be a temporary activity for her. She ended up loving it particularly because of how the instructors interact with the students and made her feel confident and welcome where she is typically incredibly shy.As a parent, I was instantly a fan of the expectation of family involvement. When I bring her to class she isn’t just showing up for a practice, she is a part of a community that encourages and lifts up its members, and even without being a student myself, I have the privilege of being an active participant in her experience. In about a year she has gone from a hesitant participant to joining Quest’s leadership program. From being afraid to learn new techniques to asking to open and close her master’s club classes. It has been an amazing transformation to watch and I look forward to her continuing to learn, grow, and be a member of the Quest community for years to come.

Whether you are looking for a martial Arts Academy for yourself, your family or a friend, Quest Martial Arts Academy is the place for you. I have been training there for 31/2 years now. When I first walked into the dojo I was impressed with how professional the staff was. After talking to some of the parents who were waiting for their children, I was even more impressed with their positive comments.I started at the age of 62. I thought I was too old to start something like this. The owner, Master Nelson, said you are never too old to start something new. I started my 2 week free trial and on the first day I was hooked! Everyone there, instructors, students and parents watching are so encouraging. We are all the same. Not one is better than any other. I was worried I would feel out of place. No way.You work at your own pace. After 3 1/2 years, I am a brown belt, I have made life long friends, have an extended family, have so much more confidence in myself, have a can do attitude, better self esteem and healthier! I am thankful that I found this place and blessed with all the wonderful people I have met. It is more than Martial Arts, it is a way of life for me. So if you are 3years old to 99+check out Quest Martial Arts Academy! You will be glad you did!

I have experience over 10 years of training at Quest Martial Arts, and I can safely say that if you want to take a martial arts class, this would be the school for you. It isn’t one of those martial arts school that say in 2 years and you can get your black belt and feel like you accomplished nothing, this is a school that really help experience how to use self-defense, having happy and healthy sparring matches, learning to use different weapons including Nunchakus and Bo, and get your necessary exercise. The staffs are friendly and are will to help you if you’re struggling with something, at the same time too, other students are willing to help you out to become a better person as well, making it almost like a second family you have.Even though this program is exceptional, I believe that any great program can have room for improvement. The only thing that I would improve is slowing down the changes in developing a better program. Changing and reworking the program is necessary, but for someone with learning problems, doing it too quickly is a whirlwind for us with learning disability. All and all, this is a great program and I recommended anybody that wants to start learning martial arts today.

Quest has become more of a second home to both my son and I over the last 12 years. Both of us have learned many things about ourselves including not only physical balance but balance throughout our life. Most people believe karate is all about kicking, punching and chopping but to be honest its a very small part of it. Its really about the whole body and mind, self defense, keeping yourself out of bad situations and building self-esteem, respect, communication skills, focus, confidence and team building.Master Nelson and the staff at Quest engage the whole family in a positive life experience that also teaches you the Martial Arts.If you or someone you know has an interest in finding a great well rounded program then Quest Martial Arts Academy, LLC is your place.

Quest Martial Arts is a wonderful asset to the community and a great place for children and adults to learn and grow. About 3 or 4 years ago I attended one of Quest’s Women’s Self Defense Seminars. I loved it so much that I went to a couple more. I felt so empowered after each one. Sensei Lynda encouraged me to begin training but at first I thought that at 41 I would be crazy to start. I pushed all of that aside & decided to do it, to invest in ME & I’m so glad I did. I have a second home & family where I am truly cared about & supported. In the 3 years I’ve been attending classes I’ve gained so much confidence & strength & am doing things I never thought I could. The kids program is also amazing. I’ve seen many of the littles come in shy & clinging to their mom or dad but typically that passes quickly & then they’re out on the floor by themselves. The instructors are extremely patient & reward good behavior often. The kids become more focused & are encouraged to continue to use those skills at home as well. The dojo also emphasizes a “bully-free” environment & gives the kids (& adults too) the tools to know what to do in those situations. If you’re looking for a place for you &/or your child to study the martial arts, I would highly recommend coming in & seeing what it’s all about. They run introductory programs all the time, go check them out 😊

I joined Quest Martial Arts 5 1/2 years ago. I was 62 years old. I wish I had found this place years ago. I am on my journey for Black Belt and hope to be testing for it next year.Quest is an amazing place for all ages. The owner Lynda Nelson is not only an amazing Sensei, but cares about each and every student. The life skills are incorporated into each class and the kids learn these as they are learning Karate. I have seen such a change in the young children as they learn to respect others as well as themselves and encourage each other to be their best. It is not a competition, it is a new way of life These children are our future leaders. They are growing up to be confident, well spoken individuals who care about others and the world we live in.Sensei Lynda also helps the parents of all the students at the dojo with posts pertaining to what life skill we are working on for the cycle. She is always there for all of usThe instructors are top notch. They spend several hours a week training . They invest in themselves in order to be the best instructors possible. They hold themselves to a very high standard. There are many programs also offered to enable all age students to start on the path to leadership.I highly recommend this school to all ages. I am confident you will not find a better school or learning environment

My son Jack has been part of Quest Martial Arts Academy for about 3 years and he still looks forward to classes and getting his next belt. He has learned confidence, respect, perseverance and has acquired the ambition to be just like his senseis in hopes to one day be a sensei himself and run his own Martial Arts School. What makes this place great is the staff and the family like atmosphere they have created, making every child, adult, and parent feel like they belong. The skills he has learned at Karate have transferred over to his home and school life which have built a successful foundation for my son. If youre looking for a cheap dojo, look elsewhere. If you want a dojo that customizes instruction to each persons individual needs, Ill tell you about how great the instructors are with my autistic son. If you want a dojo that develops not just martial artists but leaders in the dojo and community, Ill tell you about my middle son and how often he brings up life skills from the dojo as he balances school, extracurriculars, and community service. Inspiring confidence? Ill tell you of my daughter who wouldnt say three words to the senseis when she started 4 years ago and is now a proud member of their demo team. Think karate is just for kids? My wife and I will tell you about all the great young adults, middle-aged, and more senior classmates we look forward to seeing every week.
