Master Garrison is an outstanding teacher and motivator. He trains students with useful skills and tactics for real life situations, while at the same time providing a great workout that includes solid instruction and traditional discipline. Highly recommended for adults and kids.

Tiger Academy is a great school. Master Gassion is a phenomenal instructor with years of martial arts experience in many disciplines. Staff/Instructors are helpful, knowledgeable, patient, encouraging and just great people to train with and to learn from. I am a student (not in my younger years) and have learned so much, not only the art, but about my self and what I am capable of accomplishing.

Master Garrison is very professional but also kind to the children and strikes a great balance between discipline and warmth. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a great martial arts instructor.

After assisting me in 2005 with my weapons training to reach 1st Dan Black Belt with our original teacher Grand Master Kim, my training to 2nd Dan Black Belt continued directly under Master Garrison at Tiger Academy.After severe low back problems, Master Garrison guided me physically, mentally, spiritually, and nutritionally back to health to keep moving forward under the most extreme circumstances to my 2nd Dan Black Belt test 15 years later in July 2020. Tiger Academy is an amazing school for kids and adults to start Martial Arts. It starts with basic hand and feet techniques much like many Japanese or Korean martial arts. As you gain ranks, you can start Hapkido (joint-locks and throws), Judo/Jiu Jitsu (grappling, holds, chokes and subduing) and traditional weapons (bo staff, sai, tonfa, arnis sticks, nunchaku, etc). Ive looked at MANY schools in the area and Tiger Academy offers much more than other schools. It is a very well-rounded martial arts program with phenomenal instructors.
