An unexpected flat on I-64 with an index of 103° had the ability to ruin anyones day. The driver was there in 40 minutes and got me to the tire shop in time for a quick replacement. Quick and courteous. I would certainly use them again!

The fella that came out and hooked up my truck was excellent very professional and experienced didnt tear up anything will be calling them again for my towing needs

Big thank you to Butch and Chris! We lost a tire on a trailer and even though they had a crazy night already with a lot of calls for tows they were able to work some magic in helping us out. We were facing being stuck on the side of the interstate for 4+ hours as it was a Friday night and all business were either closed, couldn’t help (as we needed a flatbed trailer) or weren’t going to be able to help for hours. Both were so incredibly nice and helpful. Highly recommended!! Thanks again!

Very dishonest and unprofessional company. One of their drivers backed into my sons car and caused damage. They requested 2 estimates that were sent to them. After avoiding his calls and emails for a month they then requested pictures of damage. Then proceeded to lie that their driver claimed he was not at fault. Sad that a company cannot admit fault and do the ethical and honorable thing. I have absolutely no respect for a company who lies and neglects responsibility.

My nephew was hit by one of their drivers, while sitting at a light he rolled back into him during the COVID pandemic. The driver at the time admitted to being at fault & had even called the company, he later talked to them & was told to send 2 estimates, even provided an email to send them to, once sent they never returned any phone calls. Today after 1 month, they finally called & said that it was my nephew at fault & it was his word against their driver & they weren’t going to pay. Really sad how a major company doesn’t stand behind the word of their driver at the time it happened. Very poor business practices.

Locked my keys in the car. They was there in 20 minutes if that long. Had the doors unlocked in less then 5 minutes! Always very friendly service. I have called on them to help me several times since the 1980s.

Was very professional and curtious there and would recommend Ellis Towing.

Very happy with the service we got. They were out to our home in Bardstown within an hour as they mentioned they would for towing a vehicle to the shop. Very prompt service and very fair pricing. Definitely would use these folks again for towing help.

We paid $756 dollars to get it towed 8 miles down the road where another company is charging us those same $700 to get it 200 miles down the road, these people screw you out of money any way they can. Overpriced and take advantage of customers

This company towed my truck through AAAThey done severe damage to my vehicle. Dropped it off at the dealership without a word.If you call there they wont even tell you whos in charge. Ive called many times with the promise someone would return my call. This is a very poorly run company. BEWARE!!!

Ellis was the independent contractor covering AAA in my area. Had a Subaru that needed to go to the dealership in Louisville from my driveway. Two employees showed up on time (to the minute) when AAA said they would, were conversational, and efficent; had the car rigged up and secured in ten minutes. Kept me up to date and got the car to the dealership without issues-- Levi and Denny were class acts! Thanks again!

Took a while to arrive. But, they were busy. They called as they were on their way and service was great.

We had a flat on our travel trailer and called Good Sams. They sent Ellis towing out in 35 minutes. James was great. He greeted us by shaking our hand and was very polite. He had us back on the road in less than 15 minutes. Thank you so much for your excellent service.

Yesterday my car would not start. I was an hour from home in Mt Washington, Ky. I was at a funeral home & I started calling AAA for service. They apparently contacted Ellis Wrecker Service. The wrecker service called me approximately around 3:45 & advised they would be there around 5:05. At 5:06 I called to see where they were & was told it would be another 30minutes, 30 minutes past & I called again & was told it would be another 30 minutes. 30 minutes past & still no show & no calls from them either time!I called again & was told they were still at the same place with a flat tire situation that it would be another 30 to 45 minutes (how long does it take to fix a flat tire??). By this time I’m very upset because “I” was the one making all the follow up calls! THEY didn’t call me!!I finally told them to forget it, it was getting late, the funeral home was going to be closing & I would be stuck in an area that I wasn’t familiar with & had to get home in the dark!! It was the worse experience ever!!! I felt I was as important as a flat tire & I was worth follow up calls & honesty of a more accurate time frame. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!

Today has been horrible. The car we just bought had broken down with just myself and my young daughter. Contacted AAA for assistance, within 5 minutes a representative from Ellis called to notify me that a tow truck had been dispatched to my location. I was provided with the expected time of arrival and the approximate number of miles away the tow truck was. The tow truck arrived ahead of time estimated, however it was unable to tow my vehicle, so a second truck was dispatched and arrive within 10 minutes. Both drivers were extremely polite and respectful. Service was professional and courteous. Will definitely be recommending Ellis service.

It was nearly instantaneous service from a great technician. AAA shoukd be proud if using Ellis.

AAA made my experience much harder than it should of been but the Ellis Towing staff was excellent and my towing services were great!

There terrible employers they do anything and everything to screw people out of as much money as possible.

If I had the option for 0, thats what I would rate. Not trustworthy at all. Missing a $250 floor drying fan .Would NOT recommend.

A driver traveling way to fast on Hebron In in Shepherdsville made no effort to slow down when he saw we were trying to turn around. Therefore creating a possible deadly accident. Then he had the nerve to stare us down. He had no vehicle on tow.

Staff not very helpful. Rollback driver cut off my semi on an exit, with no turn sign, almost wrecking me.

Im an OTR driver not like I have better things to do will be letting Housby sale not to not sale anything from this lot i have Hurd bad things about this place but i have seen it first hand and will pray to God I dont come back here.
