Taking a trolley tour with Oli’s was a last minute decision based on hiking weather concerns & still wanting to see as much of the park as possible with my time left in Bar Harbor. And I am so thankful that I did. Our tour guide, Rick was not only amusing but also had a wealth of knowledge about Acadia and it’s history. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting for the first time OR that has been before & still has some to learn about the history. I will definitely be back to Bar Harbor & have a much better idea of what I want to do next thanks to Oli’s. Who knows, I may just have to take another tour while I’m there too!

This is a great way to experience Acadia Park & Bar Harbor if you are just passing through for the day and do not have a lot of time to stay and explore. Our tour guide was Kent and he was very personable and made the trip enjoyable. He talked the whole time but I still was able to pay attention and not get bored. We paid for the shorter 2 and a half hour tour and were able to see 3 fantastic spots at Acadia for 15 minutes each stop, not a lot of time but they have a longer tour with stops for half an hour each. Id consider that one if you wanted more time to take in the scenery. Is the tour pricey? Maybe? But when you consider the fact of the cost to get into the park, the horrible traffic, the ridiculous parking AND that you cant go up to the top of Cadillac Mountain without an on line reservation and a separate fee then its worth it. The trolley driver deals with all the traffic aggravation and you get a lot of information about the area. IMPORTANT TIP!! They do not have parking at the trolley and it is very difficult to find a spot on the street or the very few parking lots available. Leave plenty of time for parking. We actually missed our 1:00 tour because of it and thankfully they were able to get us on for the 2:00.

I love getting an overview of an area with a tour group; Olli’s Trolley in Bar Harbor was wonderful. We were taken to area highlights and given historical information on the town and Acadia National Park.

The trolley ride was very informative. I learned a lot about the history of Bar Harbor and Acadia Park. I took the 2.5 hr. tour to Acadia Park. It was a beautiful ride. I thought it was well worth the money. I would highly recommend it. It beats trying to find parking, and dealing with all the traffic.

Took the 2.5 tour through Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Driver/Tour Guide Mike did an awesome job and was a nonstop fact filled, storytelling fountain of information. Tour length and price were perfect to give us a very good overall familiarity with the area.

We did the 3 hour Cadillac Mountain tour. Our Tour guide, Mike, was great; very knowledgeable about the area and funny too. Highly recommended.

This is also a tourist trap and everything can be experienced on your own or with a different tour company. Very unprofessional!

Great tour of the Acadia National Park.The 2.5 hour tour was just the right lenght and so were the 15 minutes breaks at each spot. It gives you plenty of time to go down the main paths and take photos. Each spots had trails that went down closer to the water but the 30 minutes allowed on the 4hrs tour would still not have been enough to do more than you would do in 15 minutes.Our driver was super knowledgeable, not only on the area, but on its history, fauna and flora. I was very impressed by the accuracy of his knowledge and his ability to explain everything so easily.The National Park itself is a must-see in the area. The coasts are uniquely beautiful. The Park is well maintained and even though it sees millions of people every year, it still looks wild and natural.I really enjoyed Olis Trolley ride and would do it again.

Easily the best tour Ive taken in my life. Jim was an excellent guide - funny and informative. This was the highlight of my trip to Bar Harbor.

The driver, Jim, was very knowledgable, to say the least! The panoramic views are spectacular. We believed it is the most beautiful place we have visited!. The tour was better than taking out on our own, because of the knowledge and guidance of the driver. We loved it. Well worth the money!.

I recommend the 2.5 hr tour Acadia/Cadillac Mountain tour. Our driver and tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun! Since it was a busy weekend, MDW there was a lot of traffic going into the park. But our guide was very engaging and made sure we were entertained. The 3, 15 min stops I thought were a bit short but it beats having to find parking since it was just so crowded! If youre a history buff this tour is for you.

We took the 2 1/2 hour tour through Acadia National Park. The guide (Dan) was very informative and funny. We really enjoyed our tour and recommend it to everyone who comes to visit the area.

We took the 2.5 hour tour of Acadia with Cadillac Mountain, Jordan’s Pond, and Thunder Hole being stopping points. If you have limited time in Acadia and don’t mind only getting to spend 15 minutes at each stop, this is the tour for you! We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Randy was wonderful! Very informative, funny, and just a pleasure to listen to. This tour was amazing—so many great spots that my husband and I (as first timers here in Bar Harbor) would have never known to visit. Highly suggest booking with Ollie’s Trolley if you’re staying in the area! Also, the owner was gracious enough to help us with directions for another spot we wanted to visit that was 30 mins away—gave us great insight on when we should get there to beat the crowd. It worked out perfect!

We did the 2.5 hour tour and had a wonderful time. My husband was parking and late to the trolley. They waited as long as they could then refunded his ticket without our even asking. Very nice people and a great tour. Highly recommend! I wish we had done this tour first then explored the park on our own rather than the other way around. It would’ve been very helpful to orient ourselves to park first.

We booked this on a whim and were very happy we did. The driver was great and poured information on the area the entire way. Due to covid the bus is only have full and we grabbed the back seat which offered rona of leg room. The tolly itself was stunning and very well kept. Would recommend to anyone.

Did the Acadia National Park tour yesterday. Trolleys are bright, clean, and comfortable. Lots of stops to get out and walk around. Dennis was our guide. He is extremely knowledgable of the area: places, people, and history behind them. We heard many interesting stories and facts. He wore a headset so everyone could hear the commentary. It is about a 2.5 hour trip with regular rest stops. Well worth the time, a good way to learn about the area. Quite pleased. They are busy so book ahead if possible.

We did the city tour as our 1st activity so we could get acclimated. The ladies were very informative, funny and straight out enjoyable. We enjoyed the tour and it was worth what we paid. I strongly recommend Olis.

Accessible but limited to manual wheelchairs. No power chairs or scooters. Provided excellent info about the island and driverwas knowledgeable. Was also not guaranteed to get off as a wheelchair user at each spot and was unable to unload at Thunder Hole due to parking. Would be nice to have dedicated areas to unload at each spot. Highly recommended though and its still a great tour.

Booked the sunset tour of Cadillac Mountain. The ticket booth worker and our driver were super friendly. We live just a couple hours away and learned so much about this area that we love so much. Rick, our guide and driver, was fantastic. Great energy & super knowledgeable. The tour & trolley were fantastic. Great location. Incredible views! Highly recommend. We’re so happy we booked.

We had a great time seeing and hearing about the history of Bar Harbour and surrounding area. Our tour guide was great and told us a lot about the town and its development. Worth the time and money.

A little pricey but worth the trip. Due to covid our trip had few people on it, the driver was funny and knowledgeable.. have fog and clouds kept us from the summit , we would not have seen anything anyway. Saw a few deer.

This trolley was on my bucket list for years. I finally looked into it and was amazed at the price. Variety of choices. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Plenty of time to see things. Comfortable. Nice vintage feel. Cannot say enough. Will return for certain.

The Staff was superb! The 30 min tour was exactly what the Dr. ordered for my 87 year old Mother ! Our tour guide was Awesome!

The narrated trip went by fast. We were able to see the important points, stops times were sufficient, unless you wanted to shop. Our guide Randy was well versed on the Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, he had a good sense of humor and made you feel like you were his only passenger.

Tours are really dependent on the guide. We lucked out; Don at Oli’s is really a great guide. He had tons of stories about the local history. One caution, the 2.5 hour tour has 15 minute stops which don’t feel like a lot of time with a crowd, but that’s what the time allows. If you have time in your schedule consider the longer tour.

We took the 2.5 hour tour and it was a bright sunny day that allowed fantastic views from Cadillac Mountain. Gary, our driver, provided a lot of history about the park that made the tour more meaningful than just driving through on your own. We would certainly recommend Olis Trolley and especially Gary for s tour of the park.

For a full day adventure and quick 30 minute stops at 4 different places this is a Must Do while visiting Bar Harbor, ME.Randy was our tour guide and he was full of knowledge and Historical points. We enjoyed our tour very much! We will be back in October to see the Leaf Change !

Rode this trolley around Bar Harbor, while on shore from a cruise ship. The ticket taker safely stored our wheelchair while we rode the trolley. The driver was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Highly recommend!

Great way to see the highlights around Cadillac Mountain.

This was a great way for us to explore Acadia National Park on a drizzly day. Our guide shared interesting facts and stories during the entire 2+ hour tour. We got out at three spots to walk around: Thunder Hole, Jordan Pond, and the top of Cadillac Mountain, where we sampled wild blueberries right from the bushes - its true that these little beauties are packed with flavor unlike the bigger berries we are used to. The scenery in Acadia is breath taking. Highly recommend Olis Trolley. Convenient location in Bar Harbor.

We booked this trip from the UK on the basis of the reviews we had read and we were not disappointed. The booking process was easy and efficient and the people were very welcoming when we arrived. They responded positively and helpfully to all my questions re. mymobility issues. I was boarded first and my electric scooter was stored safely. The trip was wonderful. We saw so much of the Arcadia National Park and had a fantastic driver/guide who gave interesting information with alot of humour. The 3 photo stops were good. We recommend this trip without hesitation.

We chose the sunset tour to Cadillac Mountain and were not disappointed! The views were stunning, our trolley driver & tour guide was engaging and funny. The reservation process was easy to do online, but book early!

We took the 2 1/2 hour tour. With a huge back up going up to Cadillac Mountain, it turned into a 3 1/2 hour tour. Out guide, Fred, was very knowledgeable and added a lot to the trip. I highly recommend.

Used them a few years. Their knowledge of Acadian history leaves a lot to be desired. Recently they refused to pick up hikers who were stranded on the trails. which is just bad form all around. The stranded hikers were picked up by Acadia National Park Tours. I was not the stranded hiker and I have no financial interest in Acadia National Park Tours.

Had a fantastic tour Acadia National Park right outside of Bar Harbor. We booked theTrip online and very easy getting on and off bus.tour bus driver Sindy was fantastic informative and funny.I think she really should have been a stand-up comedian but she was great.Absolutely beautiful scenery and some amazing history details and some beautiful stunning mansions I would highly recommend this tour. We stopped 3 times and in a 3 and half hour tour. easy to get some snacks go to rest rooms and take some beautiful panoramic pictures

This is a fabulous tour in a bus thats outfitted to look like a trolley. It stops periodically to let you off to visit places. I recommend the longer tour. The short tour doesnt give quite enough time in each stop.

Did the thirty minute tour with Mike this morning and it was an excellent way to learn some quick facts about Bar Harbour and escape the rain! Very knowledgeable and friendly guide who was happy to share his city with us for the day.

We took the trolly on the 2.5 hour tour. It was Labor Day Weekend and very glad we did because most of the stops the parking was full but the trolley had a spot to park. Our driver was very informative and friendly.

We only had a short stay in Bar Harbor and the two and a half hour tour was the PERFECT way to see the essentials of Acadia National Park. Our tour guide, Jim, was extremely knowledgable and personable. I highly recommend Oli’s Trolley if you’re looking for an entertaining, but also educational way to learn about the area.

My husband and I did the Olis Trolley tour: Sunset on Cadillac Mountain. Our tour guide, Randy was wonderful. He is so knowledge of Acadia National Park and the city of Bar Habor. We throughly enjoyed the experience. I also got some nice camera shots.

For the price 👎.... $50 for two people to take a ride up to Cadillac Mountain and back for 1 hour is pricey. Narrator gave a lot of information but still the value for your money wasnt there.$15 pp. would have been more appropriate.

It was a great trip today for 11am on aug 31, except for when we pulled in to say goodbye. The driver made sure to stand off the bus in full view of his tip jar. I didnt have cash on me but figured we could go back to their gift shop where we got our trolley tickets and patronage there with a credit card. However when stepping off the trolley and just past eye contact with the driver, the driver said in my direction, No tip huh? My wife also heard this. Ive never had that happen before, and we wont be back to ride your trolley or visit the gift store.

Wonderful tour of Acadia National Park. We had a sweet lady guide who knew her stuff and talked the entire trip! It would have been nice to added a half hour to the trip for 3 hours and add the extra 30 minutes to two of the stops at the pond and Cadillac mountain, but otherwise, a great deal.

Enjoyed this tour. Unique way to see Acadia Nat’l Park without the stress of driving, entrance fees, and parking. Very informative. Unfortunately the weather took a turn about halfway through the tour (obviously not the operator’s fault) and obscured the view from Cadillac Mountain. Tour guide (Clay) was cordial but failed to leave an impression on us and the other passengers personally (i.e. didn’t interact on a personal level with any of the passengers besides the pre-planned narration). Overall enjoyed the experience. Would recommend.

We generally liked the quick tour through the park. The drivers are knowledgeable, but a bit dry. The 15 minute stops are not enough. And on our tour, we were 2 minutes late and the driver made passive-aggressive remarks for the remainder of the tour.

Excellent tour of Acadia Park with our guide Ible! We were in Bar Harbor for a day during our cruise and we decided to sign up for the 2 hours and a half tour of Acadia Park. The tour goes to Thunder Hole, Cadillac Mountain and to the Wild Garden. All 3 sites were really interesting and the views were breath taking. We did not feel rushed and the commentary was funny and interesting.

The tour guide, Carl, was wonderful! Really enhanced our tour of the National Park!
