Currently a CMRA here and love it! Everyone in the company has been really helpful during this whole pandemic going on, whether it is picking up shifts helping out at different units or just being a positive support. The staff really care about the clients and do every thing they can to make the clients really feel at home and happy. Communication is key in a job like this and I gotta really hand it to everyone here because I havent had an issue, when ever I have a question or need something I make a call and if there is no answer within fifteen minutes I get a call from a supervisor. The whole atmosphere of Sweetser is amazing and I hope to be here for years to come.

Ciara Tolman should be RE-EVALUATED for her job. Disappointment

Sweetser is by far one of the most hurting businesses in the Bangor area its not hard to tell why, Ive been here for the past 3 months and I have been asked over and over again do work at other units and clean up other peoples messes. This company tends to sweep what other people mess up on under the rug. I havent quit and I believe that what we are doing here is all for the greater good but this company does not help and intern the employees pay the price. I say this to the company please make your employees feel like you care I havent even gotten my one bonus check and every time I email someone about it I get no reply back.

Please dont work here I promise you itll be good for the first couple weeks then I left there is absolutely no communication and even less help when you need it.

This will review will be the most honest and first review of this company and I hope it helps people realise before they come and work here what they are getting themselves into. To start I have never seen a turn over rate in my life like Sweetser, For every 20 people on average 2 or 3 people stay for about a month then are either fired or quit. The reason for this is because you have no help no guidance no nothing This company will throw you into the water and doesnt care if you know how to swim. The turn over rate isnt only for staff its also the supervisors. Me alone I have had 6 different supervisors and only 2 still work here all other 4 have been fired and or terminated for very bad and or weird reasons. The supervisors always tell you to your face if you need help to call them and or text but after a week working here you will know your alone and good luck because if you do something wrong and someone hire then your supervisor has to step in you will be let go very soon after. Now lets talk about the job itself. The job is not hard it is quite easy if you know what you are doing and you over the age of 40 because if your between the ago of 18-30 your treated like nothing why I dont know but chances are you know someone who has worked here and I can guarantee they will agree with everything im saying and is going to say. Next you will be paid minimum wage and normally your ok with that sense its not $7.50 anymore but wait $11 does seem ok until the mental stress comes into play but like i said ask someone you know and they can tell you much better. So back to the supervisors some are nice and try their best but because the lack of employees its next to impossible for them to do anything because 9/10 times they are already dealing with someone else. Now a big problem is communication. If you want to take a vacation you would have better luck finding a dinosaur bone in your backyard because they wont be able to find anyone to cover for you so they will just say no unless you tell them a month in advance and Ive seen this happen you can and this guy did get fired because he didnt come to work when he asked for it off and got it approved but no one remembered so he didnt show up for a week and got a text saying he was terminated. I cant make this up. Some of the issues here arent sweetsers fault but 90% could be avoided and helped with just a little bit of communication and will to actually do your job. But if you need employment and want to be hired on the spot this is the place to walk into. Thank you and I hope this helped.
