Shutter and Sound created THE PERFECT wedding video for us— My wife and I will enjoy the highlight video for a lifetime. The team was very easy to work with, professional, and honestly the perfect vendor for us.Our videographer, Paul, went ABOVE and BEYOND what we expected. Not just from a videographer perspective (perfect highlight reel, quality of the shots, attention to detail, telling us to do certain things to get the shots he needed, etc.), but he also helped align the day with the rest of our vendors. When he noticed some continuity issues between the vendors, he proactively brought all of them together and took the lead on making sure that our day went as smooth as possible. Paul also really cared about us enjoying OUR SPECIAL DAY and made sure that we were enjoying ourselves throughout the process— We are so grateful to have met him and couldn’t have been happier with our experience with Shutter and Sound.

Our wedding video from Shutter & Sound is absolutely gorgeous. We booked them with less than 2 weeks to go before our wedding and they were able to accommodate us and provide us with great videos to cherish for the rest of our lives!

I knew we had to hire Shutter and Sound when I saw another video they did at our venue - I was just blown away by how cinematic and emotional it was. Our videographers (Julian and Juan) were so amazing to work with and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. They also worked really well in tandem with our photographer. Im so happy we made the decision to hire Shutter and Sound. Your wedding day seems like it flashes by in the blink of an eye, but our video from that day will be something we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

An old friend from high school posted her wedding video on facebook a few years back and I immediately knew I wanted Shutter and Sound as our videographer. Of course trying to be a budget friendly bride I shopped around, reviewing other vendors videos and pricing. With all the research I did there are no other videographers in the Massachusetts area that even compare. Although there are some options that were more affordable, you really are paying for the quality here. We decided to go big and booked their largest package which included 2 videographers for up to 10 hours, a 7-9 minute trailer, and a full day documentary style video. We also decided to purchase the raw footage. We have not received our full documentary style video yet but we received the wedding trailer in only about three weeks. We have rewatched our wedding trailer multiple times and are both completely in love with it. Some of the comments we have received from friends and family include ‘’It looks like a music video or a movie’ ‘this is the best wedding video I have ever seen!’ and ‘I cried watching this!’.I believe Shutter and Sound has different videographers that work for them, however Mike and Phil were the ones that shot our wedding. They were both so nice and somehow managed to get so much footage without us really even noticing them. They also worked so well alongside our photographer. Phil even came to the rescue helping the groomsmen tie their ties when they were having problems with it! Their professionalism and skills were very apparent. There are some great shots that Mike took that really make the trailer have that dramatic movie effect.I also want to add that our original wedding date was cancelled due to COVID it was supposed to be June 2020 and was moved to June 2021. Shutter and Sound was great to work with and accommodated the change of date without a problem. As you can imagine it was a very stressful time for us and having them be so accommodating took the pressure right off!If you are looking to book a professional and skilled videographer please do not look and further I promise you will not be disappointed!

Shutter and Sound was absolutely AMAZING! They were so flexible and made our day so special! Julian was FANTASTIC!! So thrilled with S&S, not enough words to say it all honestly. I communicated with Quinn via email before the wedding- she was SO helpful and responsive, always on top of things and organized. We had Seth and Megan as videographers for the day of and they were amazing. Clearly so experienced and talented, they got some really cool shots of us throughout the day and I cannot wait to see it all when we get our raw footage and documentary edit. We received the highlight video while we were on our honeymoon and watched it probably 40 times before even coming back home, it was done so beautifully, we are in love. Seth and Megan both made us feel so comfortable all day long, even when some of the shots they have to get feel cheesy or staged, they acknowledged it and we laughed it off, then its amazing how stunning it turned out in the video!!! Couldnt be happier! Also worth noting, the price was more than reasonable for the quality of the work they did and the final product!!! Last thing, my husband and I wanted to use a song special to us that wasnt on any of the sites S&S uses, but they were so willing to work with us and helped us get a personal license directly from the band so we could use it in our video! SO happy and I highly recommend!

Shutter and Sound Films, our videographer Seth, did an AMAZING JOB!!!! The effort that they put is outstanding. They guided us through the whole process, we did not have to worry about anything. The quality of work and customer service is exceptional, we didn’t even know that they were there, they are smooth like that! Our short video clip was made in exactly 2 days like it says on the website. It turned out so so so beautiful!!!! We were extremely happy with the way it turned out!!!!!! Im so glad that I had found them to record my wedding day - they created such a beautiful video that I can relive my wedding day over and over again. I made some slight changes here and there and couldnt decide on the song for the video but Quinn was very patient with me.Doyle and his wife were great to work with as well! I personally am not the most creative person so I sort of depended on them to let me know what they wanted to do. We were thrilled with our experience with Shutter and Sound. Quinn, the Scheduling Manager, was very easy to work with, responded promptly, and always answered all of our questions.Michael and his assistant, Kevin, filmed our wedding two weeks in Massachusetts. On the day of the wedding, they were very professional, pleasant, and truly faded into the background (in the best possible way). Everyone was extremely comfortable around them and they worked very well with our photographers. I was very happy with Michaels flexibility to get the signature shots but also appreciated his directness in what he was looking for in them.We just received our highlight video and we love it. It is truly a production - Michael pulled all of the best parts of the night and put it together perfectly. We got The Feature and added drone covered and it was well wroth it. The quality cant be beat. They are so easy to work with and are very responsive to all your needs. We had Kenny for our October wedding in Chicago. It was a COLD day and Kenny still managed to get all of our shots that we wanted around the city. He stayed longer than he was contracted for and kept us on track with the timeline to ensure he was still around to film every important moment. The finished product of our highlight video is outstanding. I even asked Kenny to make small edits on it 3 times just to get it absolutely perfect with all of our favorite moments being included. He could not have been more kind about making sure we got exactly what we wanted. Everyone who has seen our video has said that it looks like the trailer to a movie youd want to see in theaters. Numerous people told us it was the best wedding day video theyd ever seen. And not because of us, the bride and groom! Shutter and Sound was an amazing company to work with, from start to finish. Contacting them and keeping in constant communication was a breeze. Quinn, the scheduling manager, always responded within a day to our e-mails and answered all of our questions and concerns. Jason, our videographer, was awesome! He was professional and laid back, definitely went with the flow but got all the shots he needed, he was never demanding with anything.We never met anyone from Shutter and Sound prior to the day of our wedding, but everything was handled perfectly via e-mail. Their turn our time was very fast as well. We went with the The Short package and received our highlight video within 2-3 weeks after our wedding! And then it took about 2 months to receive our wedding DVD and a hard drive with all the raw clips of the wedding. I highly recommend them, theyre very affordable depending on which package you purchase and the quality of film and editing is just perfection!

Shutter and Sound did an incredible job with our highlight video (they really did send it to us within just a few days!) and we cannot wait to see how our DVD turns out. We had a very jam-packed, 8-hour wedding with two ceremonies, an afternoon tea, cocktail hour, and reception, and Shutter and Sound didnt miss a single key moment. We were blown away by the artistry of our view and the creativity of the shots. The video is paced very well and perfectly complements the song we chose from their huge selection of tracks. Weve received so many compliments from friends and family, whove commented that theyve never seen a wedding video this good, and we noticed that they worked extremely well with our photographer. They even caught on (without us telling them) to who key family members and friends were, and included special shots of them in our video. My wife and I are so thrilled we chose Shutter and Sound Films. Alex was our main shooter and he handled everything perfectly. They covered our entire day backwards and forwards and didnt miss a single moment, all while basically being invisible to us. We hardly even knew they were there. We requested the raw footage and were able to cut together a few different versions for different family members to go with their thank you notes. Even if you dont know how to edit, I highly recommend purchasing the raw footage. My wife and I spent a few nights watching all of it and remembering every detail of our wedding. Wow! I dont have words. I am honestly so happy with how my highlight video turned out I cannot wait to see the rest.I chose the Short option which was the middle level and my videographers were beyond amazing!!! And the price was very competitive and reasonable compared to others!First of all we got our highlight video within a week, I feel like that is unheard of, and the quality is OUTSTANDING!!!!!!! They perfectly captured the happiness love and joy of our day.There are so many details that I love about the video I wont bore you with them all but I couldnt recommend Shutter & Sound more!They made both myself and the groom feel comfortable at all times!They captured everything we wanted and I forgot they were there at times they never got in the way! My husband and I couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience with Shutter and Sound. From the beginning, correspondence and questions were always answered quickly and professionally. The day of, our team (Alex, Alex and Adam) were so kind and easy to work with! They were always there and got all the best moments but we’re never intrusive or in the way! I honestly don’t even know how they got some of the shots because I didn’t see them around for many of them! They’re magicians haha. In 3 days, we recited an absolutely INCREDIBLE video. They captured all the most important moments and edited them together beautifully. The music, the timing, the shots... all amazing! Shutter and Sound was Amazing! We are literally Obsessed with our Highlight Video. Matt was such a quiet guy day of and I wasnt sure if he was getting all the shots he need since it was so busy and we were so behind in our schedule. Matt delivered. He was awesome, worked well with our photographer and gave us exactly what we wanted. We were able to choose our song and personalize the video. The Turnaround time is unbelievable. We literally just got married last week and got our video a week later. I would definitely recommend anyone to Shutter and Sound. The team is great, They answer all our questions in a timely manner. I dont even know where to start with my review of Shutter & Sound, theyre so amazing! Our whole experience was incredible from start to finish. Quinn, the scheduler, was so easy to work with and answered all my questions so fast. Our videographers were Kenny and Jessica and they were absolute troopers on our 12 degree Chicago winter wedding day. We were out taking photos/video for about three hours and I never once heard them say anything about how cold it was. The outcome of all Shutter & Sound videos is incredible, its true quality that I know will be absolutely timeless forever. If youre on the fence of getting a videographer for your wedding, DO IT, and hire Shutter & Sound immediately!

If you don’t have a videographer, these are the ones you need! I actually wanted to hire Ryan Geldermann but he was already booked for my date, and luckily his “brain child” company (Shutter & Sound, of course) agreed to travel down, and I’m SO glad they did! The video they produced (super fast I might add) was exactly what we wanted from Ryan originally, and so many people told me they watched our video 100 times because it was the best edits they’ve ever seen! We’re so in love with it seriously. Doyle + Erin were so great and personable to work with as well! We didn’t have to worry about a single thing and they seemed to jive so well with EVERYONE! One of my best wedding planning decisions made! :)

We worked with the SF Shutter and Sound team for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions ever. Kylee was knowledgeable and patient in answering all our questions and explaining the logistics while our lead videographer, Marc, is incredibly talented and courteous. Matt and Kylee did a great job, my husband and I were so so happy we chose them to film our wedding. Everyone at Shutter and Sound was very professional and kind, I spoke a lot with the coordinator (Quinn) via email and she was always very helpful, and I felt as if leading up to the wedding I could message her for anything and everything. Once we were paired with Matt and Kylee it was great- they both are extremely talented and have a great eye for filming and managed to get every shot without me even noticing the camera. The wedding highlight video was truly amazing, I cried the first 15 times I watched it, and though I thought it was because it was my wedding, I found out that it made my friends and family tear up as well- it was a very moving video with all the highlights of the wedding weekend. I cant recommend them enough, and Im so glad we pick S&S to capture our big day, and from one bride to another, I recommend you do the same!

We hired Shutter & Sound for our wedding in Palm Springs in December. We couldn’t be happier with the results! When we found their work online, we knew they were the right videographer for us, and that turned out to be true. The highlight videos they create are amazing, and we are so happy with ours. The turnaround time on the edit was incredible (only a few days after the wedding). Alex was our wedding day videographer and he was fantastic. Very easy to work with, professional and personable. Almost every single thing that could have gone wrong with my wedding did - including getting totally rained out, on a boat! HOWEVER, Shutter and Sound not only stayed calm and helped problem solve, but put together a video that makes the day look incredible despite all the challenges we faced. They were super easy to work with, timely on the wedding day and in getting us the video, and super responsive and open-minded throughout the planning process.I truly left my wedding feeling defeated and miserable. It was not a happy beautiful day at all. There are too many nice things to say about Shutter and Sound film. Not only great style, the editing is also very sophistacated. If you have couple minutes to watch the works they done, you will make the decision with no hesitation.Another great thing about them I have to mention, shutter and sound film they been very responsive and professional. We started our search for a videographer with Ryan Geldermann, whose fabulous work we had seen at a friend’s wedding. Ryan informed us that he personally was booked on our date, but recommended we take a look at his company Shutter and Sound. After looking at some of Seth’s work and speaking with him over the phone, we knew we had found our videographer!Seth worked with us before the wedding to determine a videography schedule that worked for everyone and made sure he and his second shooter were prepared for our big day. Then on the day of our wedding, he worked extremely well with our photographer and did a great job of capturing the moment without inserting himself in the moment. Plus he was flexible when the weather didn’t cooperate and we had to change our plan! They were flexible when we decided to use a brand new song for our highlight video, and waited to create our video until the song was finally available. I was one of those brides that was hesitant to book a videographer. All the videos I had seen were incredibly cheesy, and cringe-worthy. I did not want to spend the money unless I loved it. I happened to stumble on Ryan Geldermann and fell in love with his style of editing, but he was all the way in Maryland! Ryan quickly answered all my emails, and informed me of his company branch in Los Angeles.Not only was the quality and the style amazing, it was incredibly affordable compared to other videographers. The communication prior and during the wedding was impeccable. Dealing with many vendors, you GREATLY start appreciating a 24 hour turn around with emails, and sometimes Ryan or Alex would email me back within minutes.The day of the wedding Alex and Tim showed up on time, professional, and so easy to get along with. They communicated with my husband, photographer, venue, and wedding coordinator amazingly. It is SO nice to find people who work well with others. I have been to weddings where you really FEEL the presence of the photographer and videographer, but Alex and Tim were exceptional about remaining incognito.Within 3 days, we had our wedding highlights video, and it was absolutely amazing. We literally got non-stop compliments about the highlights video. They are truly spectacular, and in my opinion one of a kind. For your reference, their turn around time for your full wedding coverage (no music, just straight edited wedding footage) is 2 weeks. Seriously? I have people wait 6 months to a year for their video.Honestly, I cannot say enough great things about Ryan, Alex, and the 2nd cameraman Tim. They SHOULD be your go to choice for videography.
