Y’all don’t even know. I’m moving across country and I was having technicality difficulties before I even left Maryland. Mr. Ralph, Jorge and the lovely lady in the office took care of me. They came up with a solution for me, helped me calm down and be less frazzled and worked in such a timely manner. Lovely people and they made my upsetting day a tad better. Thank you so so so much! I appreciate you guys! 10/10 recommend.

Highly recommend you reserve online and use a credit or debit card to do so. It will make your truck or trailer rental go much smoother.Decent amount of customer parking, which isnt always the case. Beltway convenient location.Staff is friendly and helpful. Facility is clean neat and orderly.Have rented from them numerous times before, always a fairly pain free experience, but the lines can get a bit long at times. Not their fault, their a popular, busy location, and renting trucks and storage isnt exactly like checking out at a convenience store.

This is the worst customer service experience that Ive had in quite a while. Uhaul has in my mind been the standard for moving and storage. Just had a big move, rented a truck and got a free month of storage. So I took it just in case. Bad idea. They tried to sell me an insurance fee that was policy but was not on the agreement for the free storage unit. About 10 days after my move I used the email they provided to inquire about canceling because I didnt need it. No one responded. I emailed twice afterward, still no response. Then I called in about a week or so later, talked with someone and asked to cancel. I explained that I had never visited the storage unit and didnt need it which they can confirm both by camera and in their system because I never used the code they provided to let myself in to the unit. She said it would be taken care of that day. Not done, no confirmation email. Then I received an email a day ago stating that I would be charged if I didnt respond by the end of the month. I called and was told that I had moved in and someone needed to check me out. Again, never stepped foot on the facility. They said someone was going to verify right then. So I drove here because I didnt trust that. Sure enough, the guy who was supposed to have gone didnt. He was still at the office and had no idea about my situation. That was Ralph the Manager. So I explained again and he said he would drive out to check. He said that if there was a lock, sometimes their employees put one on there if they knew it was rented. Waited here for over an hour. He got back and said there was a lock on it but they hadnt put it on and suggested that it was mine. I again explained that I had never been to the facility. He said they would need to cut the lock. Still waiting another hour. They do have cameras, why would I lie about never having been there? Seems like it shouldnt be that hard. Not happy. My recommendation, never come here. Never buy the free line. Boo uhaul. Any guesses as to what will happen next or how long Ill be here? #negativestarUpdate: another hour down the drain. Still shouldnt be that hard.Final update: confirmation achieved after a few hours. Vindication? Perhaps, but I still lose, cause Ill never get that time back. Thank you uhaul.

Hello, Im a long time customer of U- Haul. Reason being they are reasonable, respectable, and will work with the customer to ensure a great experience. To my knowledge, theyre on the next level when it comes to customer service.

Do not, i repeat, DO NOT expect your move to go smoothly with this location.After assuring us a truck would be available a week in advance, the day before our move (out of state) they informed us we would have to drive 100+ miles to retrieve the truck.Talk about adding an insane amount of unneeded stress to an already stressful process.they dont answer phone calls and when they finally do answer the phone, they dont answer with honesty or customer care and support in mind.Luckily, Penske pulled through for us last minute.Save your time, sanity, and money...just go elsewhere.

This is the best uhaul location by far. I always come back to this location. Staff is great and theres never a surprise with the bill.

I would 100% recommend renting your UHaul from this location. Every single person working there was friendly. They actually care about your time and make sure to get you in and out quickly. They were helpful in both check out and return of the vehicle. They thanked me for my business. I couldnt say anything negative about this store. Its worth it, in my opinion, to patronize places that show that they want your business. This location had a variety or trucks and equipment ready to go. If I ever need to rent a Uhaul again, I would come here.

I was in a hurry to rent a truck and move my belongings so a friend told me to visit Ralph at U-Haul. He was very courteous and professional and was able to get a truck for me within a few minutes of entering the store. The truck was immaculate and had a new truck smell. Ralph even waited a little after hours to make sure I was situated. Having moved 6 times in the past 9 years it has been the best truck rental experience Ive had!

Whatever you do, make sure to tell them not to code it as an in town rental if theres any chance at all that youll want to return it somewhere else. We rented a truck to move to Montgomery County and the original plan was to bring a bed back up as a favor but that didnt end up being necessary so I called to change our drop off point. Nope, once its coded as an in town rental which I never asked for, it can never be changed in the system. We ended up having to spend the money on the miles and gas to drive the extra 45 minutes back simply because of this coding issue. Other than that pretty big problem, things went smoothly and the after hours drop off worked out fine.

Seems to a be a love-it-or-hate-it kind of place. Personally, I had a great experience here. The customer service was exceptional. I know that seems like a tall order, but it really was. Dana couldnt have been nicer, even with me being the obnoxious one (you know, youre in a rush and you want everything youre way right away...that was me). Even the service attendant outside was friendly and casual. And checking out was a breeze. I highly recommend this place. I know Ill be using it more often.

Needed to do a one-day move of lots of clutter to a storage unit. Reserved online ahead of time. Ralph was friendly and helpful when I arrived for pick-up. I was then on my way quickly and they also made drop-off easy. Will be coming back here when we move to our next house. Thanks guys!

What a disappointment. Renting a trailer could be simple, but not at this location. Christopher was helpful, his coworker Rodney was not. He put us in the wrong trailer. Wouldnt fix it. Kept making us go in and out of the office, and around and around the parking lot. Do not recommend.

Horrible service. Dont force a $25 dollar insurance policy on customers in an aggressive matter without being able to provide the policy in writing. Doug Riley (manager?) needs to go back to customer service training.

Rented a cargo van for a business event. Nice, up-to-date vehicle with good steering, breaking, suspension, air-conditioning, radio, power locks and windows. The doors opened very wide and the automatic transmission felt very healthy. So the van and check out/in prosess was great and easy.I was however disappointed that there was no way for our business not make a fax or long distance payment. I ended up having to use my own personal card for this business expense. I was made aware that this was the policy of U-HAUL, however it feels a little outdated and stone age. Is this the first time a business and not an individual has done business with U-HAUL? Just my thoughts.

They installed the hook-up for the lighting for our trailer on the same day that we requested the service. The employees were respectfully and efficient. The price was pretty good too, considering what the dealership was asking for.

Went in there today and was told that I could not get a rental because my name was not on the card being used for the deposit even though the person whom the card belonged to was right there with me. I called customer service and they apologized and said that that was a lie. Didnt get her name but a short stubby miserable ×$%÷!

The woman I spoke to was sighing as if everything I was saying was a bother. The last time we called this Uhual location, the guy randomly put us on hold in the middle of our conversation and never came back. If theres one thing that completely ruins an experience its crappy costumer service. If you dont want to be polite and have patience on the phone, dont have a job answering phones.

Came in on a Saturday morning to simply rent a truck to move my bed 3 miles. They said they were booked even thought there was a truck right in their lot. Called CS, reserved a van instead. I came back 2 hours later and the truck was still in the lot. I then waited in line for 30 mins while they neglected to speed up the process of the people ahead of me. Poor management, and terrible service... dont come here unless you want to waste your day away

Reserved a uhaul online and was able to get what I wanted. There were people who just walked in and held up the line placing their. All I had to do was show my email confirmation, sign my name and go.

The staff was very nice and efficient. I recommend it to anyone who needs to move from point A

Ralph was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, a great representative of the U-Haul corporation. We had a surprisingly easy time with quick and trustworthy service.

They are very attentive to the customers needs and making sure their customers get the most from their services.

My husband and I stopped in there to asked prices. And the person at the counter completely ignored him the entire time and stayed on the telephone...no acknowledgement that we were in the store. Completely RUDE!!

Very unprofessional. Left me on hold for 30 minutes and when I ask to speak to a manager her response was I am the manager and hung up on me. I will never store my things in a uhaul storage again. If you can not be professional you should not be working with the public.

Called directly because online options didnt allow me to make a reservation for more than 24 hours. Keesha, Latisha, or whatever the womans name is who helped me sounded like she could care less in helping me and annoyed. After putting me on hold multiple times and hanging up on me (and denying that she did), I was finally able to make a reservation.Uhaul, please dont have crabby unhelpful people answering your phones. Very frustrating.

Called and checked the availability, lady answer the phone very pleasent, , upon arriving at location warm welcome and the manager Mr. Williams very courtioce and pleasent, checked me in in few minutes and I was on the road, when I returned the truck the girl name wynae was very helpful and every word of her was full of smile. They earned my future business.

Was helping a buddy move they didnt have the truck he reserved. This was after he called minutes before showing up to confirm they had it.

The U-Haul employee did perform the truck walk-around with me and he had me turn in the clipboard (indicating damage/fuel level/mileage) BEFORE giving me the key to enter the truck. I was a mile down the road before I noticed the fuel gauge had less gas than was indicated on the sheet I was given. I filled the fuel back up to where it was when I received the truck, but I was still charged for gas and told by the incredibly rude Tanisha (who continually cut me off and spoke over me) that it was my fault for not mentioning the gas level before leaving (despite not having the key to the truck during the walk around). The U-Haul at 2929 Washington Boulevard has rude employees who dont perform their jobs correctly and the customer is the one who loses.

Overcharged us and employees dont communicate with each other and barely do their job unless threatened with corporate action

The manager, Ralph Williams, falsely claimed that I dropped off a 26 truck with an empty tank charged me for 11 gallons of gas and a fuel fill fee totaling $70+ . I only drove the truck 21 miles and refilled the tank with 7.7 gallons of gas. I would have needed to drive 60+ miles to empty the tank. Avoid this location, but if you have no other choice, make sure to confirm EVERYTHING at drop off
