They touched my car illegally and now are being sued. Grand attempted auto theft. They put my car up on the tow truck while loading my groceries in a loading area. I paid 175.00 dollars for him to take my car down and never ever got a receipt. Thank God I took plenty of pictures, they dont lie. Meanwhile I am disabled and also had my 15 year old granddaughter with me. I pray their licence gets pulled!!!

I paid $400 for two hours when called for an invoice spoke to a lady name Corrina was told the invoice was sent and confirmed. I have no record of it being sent to my phone and did not confirm by text! Yall need to hire a professional dispatcher she was rude and didnt have the time to answer my question after I paid my money for services. I would believe Im intitled to an invoice. Cant keep customers by a dispatcher being rude and unprofessional. Your driver was professional but services start with your dispatcher first!

My card information was stolen after I paid $300 for them to release my car. They tried to make two purchases online via “Santander Consumer USA” one for $1,900 and the other $680. They also got $100 worth of gas at my expense at a local gas station. I called to talk to someone about the transactions and they were very rude. Told me “the bank will give you your money back”. Please ONLY pay cash at this establishment!

Based on over the phone customer service, I did not feel comfortable bring my vehicle in for md inspection.

I applied to work there on a Monday and the owner Tom liked my application and hired me that day , He discussed the pay with me which was a 1000. A week Salary with 35 % commission and asked if I could start training at 8am the next day , I showed up Tuesday morning and met the driver Jeff (trainer ) we trained all week to the end of Friday and I decided that the job wasn’t for me , the trainer told me that they charge you for every mistake that you make which I never did towing before, that alone I didn’t like long story short is this company is a get over they didn’t pay me for my over 40 hours of training and I heard the drivers say they overcharging people for towing services, You shouldn’t be able to get over people like that

Absolutely Horrible.. Just wasted a hour with the tow truck and the police to get my car off the tow truck after my husband parked in a 30 minute parking spot to walk in royal farm. In and out in 5 minutes with the time on receipt and the car was hooked up and was about to be taken. The driver wanted $ 175 cash to put it down or the office lady wanted $ 350.00Talk about SHADY !!!!No Markers or times to prove anything and no call in from the farm store , just driving around hooking up cars to steel money from good people!Train your workers better . I tried to cheat and park where I didnt belong. These guys are fast, just glad the car wasnt stolen. The best thing to do is park where u belong and read signs. If u have a parking problem, theyll fix it !!!

I live at a high rise apartments in midtown, due to crazy stipulations to get parking permits we have to get visitor parking passes. Forgot on January 1,2021 mind you our two cars are always on the lot with passes same two spots. They towed our cars this afternoon. What a way to start new year $350 each...for crying out loud WE LIVE IN THE BUILDING...cars always in same spaces tow drivers.

The guy could have taken 30 seconds to let me out so I could keep delivering mail, but he wouldnt even look at me while he hooked up a truck right in front of me. Biggest jerk Im seen today.

This place is a rip off. You get in an accident then they soak you with over priced towing and storage. Rude strong arm tactics to make you have to pay their high prices. They just capitalize on others misfortune.

Aggressive Towing Tactics.Now, I do not usually do this whatsoever. I feel it is unnecessary to do these things but I’m hoping someone will see this and have a little bit of reformation in the company. I am a Delivery Driver for a local Pizza shop nearby. I was made to deliver near an apartment complex on Bolton Street. My customer unfortunately did not pick up or come down for his order so I sent him a voicemail telling him I have to leave soon. Being the nice person I am, and since the parking lot was clearly destitute I felt I would wait a few minutes to see if they would catch my message and I could deliver their pizza to them easily. Thankfully, very much so, I waited in my car. I waited for a total of five minutes. Now, I understand many of these apartment complexes have a strict towing policy, but again I stress, it was a total of five minutes of residing in a half empty parking lot. Within five minutes of being there, I decide it’s time to go and notice that one of YOUR towing trucks is completely blocking my path way from reversing. At first I thought “Ok, they are turning out of the parking lot, not really a big deal.” Nope! Not at all he gets out of his car and is about to approach mine to rig it up to his truck, until he notices that I’m literally.... sitting in the front seat of my car. To then he quickly gets back into his truck and goes about weaving through the parking lot to find any other offenders before leaving the parking lot. This completely aggressive towing tactic and completely unnecessary. If this is the way you think it’s appropriate to conduct business then where does that leave Delivery Drivers like me who if I hadn’t stayed in my car and had instead waiting near the apartment complex would have had their car tows? Am I and other delivery drivers suppose to park in the middle street? I don’t know, but I can certainly say I will be weary delivering pizzas where you have jurisdiction.

Extremely professional, quick, and not tow robbers that take advantage of your situation. Pricing is up front and is reasonable. Other towing companies are extortionist! They see you broke down and throw out insane quotes to tow you. The Auto Barn gave me fair and reasonable price quote. Will use them every time for my trucks.

The tow truck driver was very friendly, professional, courteous, and understanding. He arrived in a timely manner and communicated what he can and cannot do.I would have given a 5-star but he got turned around in direction of travel and I had to pick up the extra mileage. Overall job well done.

These people stole my vehicle. Did not report it to the property or the police as they are supposed to do. Its an automatic $350. They are snakes. Just for the mighty dollar.

This is not a body shop but a bunch of thieves. When you 1st call they are very friendly and promising. I was quoted $550 for towing, it was a 40 mile drive. When the truck got to the shop on Thursday night I was told it would be fixed Friday morning as we had very important load. For the next few days they ignored my calls, and told me they are working on the estimate. I got the estimate late Tuesday. In the estimate they quoted $2900 for towing!!!! And repairs were quoted 4 times higher from other shops. I told them it was way too high, that I am a truck company owner and a repairs shop owner in business over 12 years, and that we do the same work for 3 times less. I told them I would get my own mechanics to come pick up the truck. I found a shop 100 miles away that fixed the truck for 4 times less. I have never experience such treatment!!! Stay away from them!

If i could give these -5 Stars I would! My car was Towed by this company illegally today. I was FORCED to either pay $300. Even though I was able to get to my car before the guy was even able to hook up my car. By law that is illegal.

Broke down in my RV on 695. Was told by roadside it would be 3 hours. Was so surprised when they called & told us would be less then an hour. Towed us to a safe place until the morning so we could get repaired. Very polite. Job well done!

I don’t often leave reviews, however Auto Barn deserves such a reputation to be warned. The people are not easy to work with, they enjoy being smart to people out of frustration of their own sad career failures. It’s a shame really. Tow was overpriced. Car was dirty. Poor customer service. Got hung up on whilst being patient.

I experienced the worst service of my life here. I do not understand how this business hasn’t been shut down. The staff is EXTREMELY rude!!! When I called and someone finally decided to put the ham sandwich down and answer the phone, I received horrible customer service. Not to mention the tow truck drivers took forever to come out because the dispatcher lady waited hours to even relay the job to them. Clearly this lady has career issues. This place has been known for years for their horrible customer service. I just wish I listen to the reviews before using this dump. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!!!!

I had to pick 1 star, but they deserve NONE. Yea so I called my roadside and they sent them. I was In a VERY neighborhood when my car broken down. I called my roadside at 748am. They did not come until 1:00pm. I called another tow company and paid out of my pocket and they was in process of helping me when these guys finally showed up. As I write this its so shameful that any business would behave this way. Im writing the BBB as well, because these people should fine another way to make money.

Do not ever use this company. I wish there was less then one star. Left my wife and I stranded on the side 695 for over 2 1/2 hours. When I called them after 1 1/2 hours they said the driver was on the way. There location was 15 minutes away from our location. They cancelled the call after 2 1/2 hours and never bothered to let us know. Absolutely a joke of a company. Never trust them EVER

Recently had a engine rebuilt by auto barn. 4 months later, they called and said the work had been completed at $10,000 more than what was quoted. When I picked the truck up, the engine barely ran. When I questioned them about it I was told that there was nothing wrong with the truck. Im taking it to another mechanic to go over the truck. Ill update as soon as I know more. Customer service is poor at best

First I want to start with if I could leave them with no stars then I would, but unfortunately I can’t. This post is not meant out of frustration but meant on the stress and agony that they put me through ! THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST EVER...Do yourself a favor and benefit from my experience, I broke down on 95 heading north with my peterbilt and I called these Incompetent, egotistic, degenerates, harsh, rude, dishonest, selfish, crooks, that do not give you there name instead they use code names! Like dispatcher 175, 178 etc. they picked me up after an hour of waiting, then when the driver came he milked the clock (rate) due to them charging $200 an hour at a minimum 2 hours. He then proceeded with the initial hookup, after he was done he was driving aggressively with my tractor & trailer like if he was pulling 1000lbs instead of 80,000lbs. I instructed them to transported my equipment to White Marsh. When we got there they were looking for a payment of $700. I then gave them my credit card information but had left my card home in Florida where I called my wife to take pictures of any kind of IDs that would make them feel pleasant in making the transaction but they told me that They needed to have my credit card physically present and if I didn’t comply they would impound my equipment( sounds like a set up for the inevitable ) in reference to him impounding my vehicle but having payment just not having the physical credit card present so they can have a reason to charge you more) they then proceeded to impound my truck and leaving me stranded in the middle of nowhere where I had to call the police department because they would not allow me to sleep in my bunk where I have all my personal belongings, the following morning I called the office at 9:30am where the dispatchers could not give me a price on how much it would cost to take out my equipment due to there boss figure out how much he wanted to charge me. They then finally called me after 3 hours of waiting for there call where I had to pay for a hotel to stay in from the previous night and my time was running out at the hotel. A dispatcher then called me and told that the cost was $1500 for the previous night. I ask how much would they charge me to go to New York they said $3300 TOTAL! When I got to there company dispatcher 175 told me it was $4900 the dispatcher before her misinformed me, I then proceeded to pay and called Uber to take me to there other yard when I got to there yard I started to inspect my equipment for damages where I noticed that there was a lot of damages done to my tractor and trailer. I waited for the driver for two hours. When the driver got to the yard I brought to his attention the damages and he replied “ what you want me to do “! I then made my notations and called there dispatcher 175 where she said she would send me an incident report after making five attempts of calling her. After everything was all said and done the driver and I drove to New York were he drove erratically all the way there 80/85 mph. THEY HAVE CAUSED MY FAMILY AND MYSELF STRESS AND AGONY THROUGHOUT THIS WHOLE EXPERIENCE.

Worst service Ive ever used! They still live in stone age, with only fax machine to do modern business and doesnt care anything about your personal information, PERIOD! All the care is what they wanted, if you dont give it to them, the lady Poppy threatened me to drop the car out of nowhere. Wish I could searched on google reviews first.

This company is absolute worst! Idiots, hypocrites... there is not enough bad words to describe them! While they were towing our truck to the shop it fell off of their tow truck, messed up the cooler and bunch of other things totaling over $5,000 in damages. When we asked for insurance their boss told us to wait until the morning, since it was middle of the night, and he will look at the damages and we will go from there! We have never heard from that piece of sh**!! We found their insurance online but they are refusing to pay anything!Please tako your business somewhere else!!!

They will tow your car quick

I had my car for repair. And I told them already what was wrong the starter. And the labor for that is only 1 hour, actually less. But regardless they charged me for 3 hours labor, saying diagnosis and replace was 3 hours labor. Im no professional mechanic, but I do work on my cars. But 2 hours for diagnose is crazy. Only reason I had it towed to them, was just in case it may have been nuetral safety switch which I had a problem with a few months ago but was replaced. And it broke down at a gas station, which I had no choose but to move it from there.$500 for a starter crazy. Never again

This company does illegal towing, I was at my car before the guy started to get it from the ground, anyway they charged me $300 to have my own car back, I was working with the car and lost my whole day with this illegal thing. When I called them to know what I should do, they were very angry about i dont know what and didnt want to help me at all. Would never recommend any services.

$300 for the tow and $15 bucks a day until you pick your car up, not to exceed $500. Ouch! All forms of payment accepted.

Can I leave zero stars? This company is filled with crooks. One of their drivers hit my car on Lombard Street and stopped, only to deny hitting my car. I got a call from the Manager Steve who wanted to know what happened. I told him and he said well we have a body shop, let me talk to the driver and get back to you in an hour, and he never called back. This is now going through insurance, which Ive been told will not get me any money. Screw this company.

Where to begin on these low lying thieves...I had my Toyota Corolla illegally towed and they said we didn’t pay the 7$ fee at the parking lot and they sweared at me and my mom on the phone and in person.So not only did I lose my chargers, I lost my coins, my mom’s makeup, and then they try extorting us to paying 300$ and a bunch of a bull fees.I already filed 2 claims against them and I will get the BBB and police involved if I need to.

I had the WORST experience with this company with respect to getting my vehicle towed. I was given 2 different ETAs and never received phone call when the driver was supposed to pick up my vehicle. I call the company at the time they were supposed to be at my vehicle, I was told the driver was in Pasadena, MD and my was in Baltimore City.I drove from Pikesville, MD to Baltimore City on a humble waiting for these guys. They gave the BEST SUBPAR service one could give.Im taking my experience to FaceBook, Twitter & Instagram.

They were contracted by my roadside assistance and even after being told we were not in a safe location the guy kept telling me 75 minutes for the ETA. Then after about 20 minutes I got a call from my roadside assistance telling me they were told they could no longer make the call and to assign it to someplace else. Then my wait time started over AGAIN. Come to find out they were only 2 miles from where I was stranded.

Please be cautious.Very questionable towing practices. Customer service is non-existent and the Manager avoids every attempt to resolve questionable practices. If towed by this company, be sure to look into applicable MD State Law.
