Best if you go super early in the morning. Gets crowded quick. One of the very few social service that gets things done. When you go in through the metal detectors..go to the desk as soon as you go in ..tell the lady what youre there for and she will give you a ticket number.Be attentive. Numbers go by quick. Overall very orderly with security around.

Quck and easy the guard was very nice.

Honestly who likes sitting at these places but its a process coming that should be expected staff gets given a harder way to go when they have a job to do you have some helpful and caring staff who like helping people get the help they need.

The Department of social services in Baltimore city needs serious house cleaning. Many employees are lazy and do not return phone calls even when life of Children is at Risk.Lies, lies and lies.Families are suffering while some of these employees are comfortable.I PRAY THE LORD HELPS BALTIMORE.

Lines are really long but they move as fast as they could and they are really nice people that really work on your case.

If you have an appointment.. Forget the time they gave you. Youll still be there for 4 hrs. then if 11:30 hits, add an extra hour and half to the 4 hrs. youre waiting for them because theyre at lunch!

Ok, first of all, I FIND IT VERY DEMEANING AND RUDE AND SO MANY OTHER THINGS THAT THEY HAVE THE NERVE TO PLAY THE ANGRY BIRDS THEME OVER THE SPEAKER, HOW INSULTING IS THAT. IT JUST SHOWS YOU WHAT THEY THINK OF THE PEOPLE WHO COME IN THERE. now I got that off my chest, I think we can all agree to hate this place for obvious reasons, its ghetto, the staff is ghetto, on a good day you might get a nice person who is actually willing to do anything to actually do their job and help you, you know try to make it easier on you. But no most of them dont care they got the job for the pay and benefits that is it. The staff just want to get off, they arent concerned about your issues and they assume everyone who comes in there are good rats just trying to make babies to use the system. That is not so with everyone. I have worked my whole life, this is my second time attending college. I have a childcare cert and now im pursuing my dream of creative writing and will have my bachelors in it. So to treat everyone sob stereotypically is very rude. And whats crazy they are more rather and ghetto then you are, I honestly could do their job way better because I can speak correctly and professional and I actually have compassion. I honestly believe if you dont really care about people dont be a social worker, nor should you work in social services. The wait time has gone down dramatically because they seem to have made that system work better. But that means nothing if they are going to make you run in circles as if half the stuff they ask for they cant pull up on the computer. They lie and say they cant but I have had good days with nice workers who have done it before so most times they arent willing to do the extra credit to help you. Then they get smart or just all their dispositions are really rude. One of them had the nerve to have gospel music on, I started to bust out laughing. I say if you can handle your business by calling or online, do it because going there is just frustrating and demeaning. Every location is a bit different though I think Broadway location is the worst. This location was quiet but still slow.

I love this district n they are so good at working with ppl who are in need oi of money, food, housing, etc.. Id strongly recommend this place if you have to get help with bills, kids, etc..

The foster care program is very misleading I have only had 2 children for about a week each. They ask too much of the foster parents, they called me late one evening and ask me to take a child over to John Hopkins, are they nuts one of the most dangerous communities in Baltimore City.

They are the worst,they are very,very disrespectful, unprofessional,if you have a appointment with them at one time it will be atleast 4-5 hour wait.they will look you right in your face and lie to you.if I didnt need the help I would not never deal with them.our mayor need to do something about that social services @clifton they are a disgrace.people should not be treated the way they treat people.regardless of anyone situation.

These people closed me out saying i didnt do recon but i did September 4th and this month i didnt get my benefits for this reason but they keep telling me it will be fixed but still nothing i dont understand how you closed someone out by mistake and cant opened the case back up i am sorry but they dont do their jobs at all i have seen a manager supervisor talked to customers service and still nothing this is some bs cause if it was them it would be something different

Liked it because the reps were nice and curtiouse and ive been here about 20 times. If you come in with smiles, then they smile at you. If you are mean they will be mean back. But a smile refreshes them!! Om sure they are exhausted though. Its clean but the bathrooms are yucky. I never let my son touch anything at all all. Bring toys for tour children and snacks, you may be waiting a while.

They are long winded in helping people and they never get your paperwork even if you get a receipt for it. They are so slow and when they mess up the customer pays for their mistakes. People have children to take care of they dont care.

Normally only there for night classes was not informed that they dont allow onsite parking during business hours which made me and my mom late for a training. They should do a better job communicating this.

Your security guards are very unprofessional and need to stop talking bad about people who come in for help. It’s very hard for a lot of people to come in there the last thing they need is security judging them
