I love Apex Counseling Center! The staff is very respectful, kind, and understanding. They are very welcoming and has made me feel comfortable since my first appointment. I feel like everyone I see on a regular basis makes me feel like they HONESTLY care about me and other patients. I dont feel like its all about money with Apex, I feel like they actually care about my well-being. They have my best interest at heart. I feel that everyone there actually cares and encourages me to get better and do better The women at the front desk are always so kind and sweet, especially Ingrid. Dr. Astrada is very patient and understanding. He listens to how you feel, and he makes me feel like he actually cares. My therapist is Jeffrey. He is the best therapist I have ever had. He is very respectful. He always knows just what to say. He always has me to look at things from different perspectives. He offers great suggestions. He gives me great techniques and exercises for me to practice to help with my anxiety and other things I go through. And they work. I was very depressed when I first seen Jeffrey, he has help me to get through that dark time and come out stronger. I have made more progress in the past year since I have been going to apex, and have sessions with Jeffrey, than I have in my 31 years. I put the work in to change my life, but Jeffrey has encouraged me the whole way. Jeffrey encourages me to follow my dreams, and helps me to attain my goals. I am truly grateful for Apex and the staff that God placed in my life to help me change my life. I would and do recommend Apex to everyone, family and friends. If Apex Counseling can help me change my life, then I know they can help anyone change their life.

All staff that I have encountered are very friendly and welcoming. My counselor is very patient with me and seems to get my personality which I think is helpful. The only issue is that I wish my appointments with the psychiatrist were a bit longer, but other than that Im pretty happy with everything so far.

I really enjoy working with Jeff. Ive been seeing therapist almost my whole life. I like the way Jeff breaks things down and explains things to me. I look forward to each session because I feel he does help me with the new coping skills and stuff he showed me to deal with my stress. I would definitely recommend him.

I am so glad I decided to come to Apex, my daughter sees Jeffrey he is amazing! He has helped not only my daughter but my family he is easy to open up to he has helped make major changes in our lives and I will be forever grateful for his help and continue seeing him I would highly recommend him to everyone he now sees my nephew and has helped him so much as well.

Apex Counseling and especially Dr. Jeffrey have been a huge help in my life. They did a great job of getting me an appointment and therapist as fast as possible. It was extremely obvious they want to make sure their clients are taken care of.Dr. Jeffrey was given my case, something I feel very lucky about. Every appointment he gives new perspectives and connects the dots on how to improve my life. Furthermore, hes very relatable and knows things are hard but helps you find ways they can get better. I feel like the techniques he gives me are ones I can take with me for the rest of my life.

My daughter started seeing Jeff as our family was entering into a seperation period. My fear was that she would have a hard time opening up but that was laid to rest immediately. Jeff was able to get her to open up and he also taught her ways to handle her emotions in a healthy way which was life changing. Im very appreciative of Apex and Jeff specifically for helping our family. I highly recommend Jeff to work with children who may be suffering from depression and anxiety.

I previously did a review and am now updating it. It seems the entire office has made a change, and the staff are very accommodating. The biggest change was being switched to a therapist who conveys genuineness and respectful interest for me and my concerns.

Office Manager/Front desk lady was extremely rude the one time I visited this center. Hopefully this person has been replaced. The one time I went there I really needed help. The therapy session was awesome, but when it came time to pay I was humiliated in front of a waiting room full of people by the lady at the front desk. I had two forms of insurance at the time and some how neither of them would work (even though I called and asked ahead of time). So I had to pay full price out of pocket and ran out of there in tears. Im sure most of the therapists here are great, but that single experience was enough to permanently turn me away from this place.

Best place Ive gotten treatment (medication management and therapy) in Baltimore. Therapist Jeff and psychiatrist Dr. Astrada listen to me and let me be an active participant in my wellness. At Apex, I had the GeneSight test done to see which psych meds are most compatible with my DNA. Turns out the drugs the nurse practitioner (no longer at Apex) prescribed were the perfect match. Give Apex a try.

I have had 3 therapist since joining apex counseling.each one has been a great experience for me.David treated me like an actual person instead of a patient and helped me theu my diagnosis and showex me how to deal with it.sadly he had to leave for personal reasons.I then got Kevin.Kevin had conversations with me that had to do with my day to day life and we talked over the things i could to better my life.Betsy is my new one and she is pleasant and understanding.i actually look forwards to my long bus ride every week to their office.plus i love hanging in the waiting room talking to Toni and Molly.they are not ur average front desk reception.Toni has a pleasant smile and friendly voice .Molly has a motherly demeanor and great sense of humor.together over the past 2 years the apex team has helped me live a normal life.i now am married and have a month old daughter.my wife loves the fact that i can turn to apex for extra help in being a good husband and father and not feel ashamed.Thank you Apex for being a rock for ppl like me.

This place is great for counseling I see Jeff there he is a good therapist he listen to me and communicate well he helps me solve my problem he looks at me as a person and not just another client he is great at helping me understand my self its a very clean place and the staff are friendly I love going there for therapy

Dishonest, disorganized, dissatisfied. Apex Counseling is a fraudulent business who has been cashing my insurance reimbursement checks for months under a therapists name who no longer works there. When my insurance company tried calling, there is no answer, but the business is open, as I just went there to notify them of their fraudulent action in person. To express how appalling e service is at this place of business, I brought in written records indicating they not only received my reimbursement checks, but the cashed them! The office managers response was thst the owners were on vacation. Sorry maam, but that is a lousy excuse and evidence that you are lying through your teeth if you ask me. Please do not trust your mental well-being with these unprofessional, unreliable people. Save your money, because they will clearly tskr it at every chance, and pretend to have lost any record, or claim the owners are on vacation yet again.

Most rude disrespectful person Ive ever met she should have her license taken away I cant even explain it I need help an this lady is shoving me away I cant believe the way she is is I am in such shock I cant even start to explain what happen I would recommend my worst enimies there its sad because her desk girl is amazing but Mary is horrible dont ever go there
