I refrain from giving them more than 1 star and that too because it won’t let me post without giving stars, I booked a car few weeks ago not knowing that they require credit card, not debit card to make payment. My last name on my credit card is different because it had my husband’s last name, it has my first name though, the BWI airport area manager Pam Jackson was very rude while explaining the policies, her behavior made me say that it was very ridiculous even though I offered help in calling my credit card company to confirm that it’s my card, she won’t budge, I was helpless and frustrated with her tone and told her that it was my first and last time to rent with them. She slammed my credit card and my license on the counter and said “ your reservation is cancelled, I reserve the right to make the decision”. I was shocked at her tone and attitude. Now, I wonder why there was no line at their counter while Avis, Hertz had big lines. I would never rent with Nextcar again. They give you cheap price which comes with rude attitude. Where’s good customer service?. I had to rebook another car sitting at airport and that wasted another hour or so. Please please confirm with car rental companies as some accept credit cards while some can accept debit cards too. I wonder how those people book car rentals who don’t have any credit cards at all. Politeness can go a long way, I wonder how the lady named above got promoted to being a area manager, I would not go to them even if they offer free rides, I will make sure whoever travels to BWI airport knows about them and ask them to stay away from giving them business. A very very very bad day, it’s worse for them as they don’t deserve any stars, but I had to give 1 to allow my experience to be posted.

They rented me a dirty car. It clumps of hair in between the seats crumbs all in the chairs...all they did was sprayed a very sickening fragrance and watered down the outside. I returned a perfect condition vehicle with a broken cookie on the floor and they charged me a $25 cleaning fee. 😡😡😡

Theres a new policy that each driver has to have their own individual full coverage policy (??) BUT customer service was VERY helpful with extending my reservation because we got caught in holiday traffic (UGH😬🙄) so overall the experience was good

The upsetting thing was that they would not let us rent a car because the license and the debit card didnt match. But we about in April got a rental and we kept it for another week. I paid with my card and it was know problem

This was my first and last experience renting from Nextcar. They gave me an upgrade for the inconvenience of a rude counter worker, and they put me into a car that had been smoked in!! It reeked of ionizing solution that they to use to cover smoke smell. My eyes were burning most of the weekend driving this car. It was awful. They said I was given a good deal and an upgrade (to a smoke filled car) so there was nothing that could be done. The manager stated maybe a future discount could be given, but she couldnt tell me any details of the so called future discount or document anything for me? Very sketchy! Dont rent from this place!!

Staff was very nice. When I rent in DC you can choose insurance coverage and deductibles (like if u have collision on your CC or maybe your personal insurance deductible is $1000, or you only have liability, etc), but keep in mind that in Baltimore you must have full coverage (through your personal insurance) and a $500 or less deductible or you will be forced to purchase Nextcars protection. Just thought yall should be aware of this before renting 😊. Also, the car I rented worked fine, but it was stained pretty badly and hadnt really been cleaned. There also werent any seatbelts in the back seat 🤷‍♂️. Also remember to always check and report the gas levels before driving off the lot and take pictures/ a short video before driving away as well. Just incase you miss any unreported damage. But over all my experience was fine. Thats all. Have a good day! 😄

SLOW !! there was 2 other employees in the back doing what ever.it was 7 ppl waiting to be served with only one clerk working.i got there at 4:05 didnt get service until 4:50.the guy had to clean and wash the car b4 i got in it that was another 15/20mins.i drove off lot at 5:10.a waste of1hr half😵😡

Look. This is a solid place to rent a car but they dont mess around. Its in an ok part of Baltimore but its not far from some rougher parts. They deal with a lot of difficult cases and they do a pretty good job of it. Reasonable rates, hours could be better, service is usually fast unless its busy.

One thing I learned about this exp. you better take pics of vehicle before leaving the lot bc it surely seem as though to avoid giving my entire deposit back or hoping to charge me period some damage was brought to my attention. Which is insane bc I definitely did not have one incident. So it truly bothered me they were implying I damage the car. Anything could have happened someone parking close to my vehicle or something else I cant say off top . But I have no idea how it took place without me noticing. Vehicle look the same as it did when i originally pulled off. Overall no complaints besides prices . But nothing is too cheap these days.

You have an employee by the name of Sotiria in your North Avenue location in Baltimore that really needs to be given an EXTREMELY HIGH ACCOMODATION for EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE ! I had an issue with my contract that I was about to go into ORBIT OVER and this representative gave me nothing but Top quality professionalism , understanding and empathized with my ordeal which is EXTREMELY RARE THESE DAYS!!! I would love for her to be acknowledged by corporate because she made what could have escalated into a bigger problem into a positive outcome!!! This young lady is a major asset to this your company!

Fast savvy service, where my insurance company had to do some paperwork, and overhead rep Benard at main office took over my reservation, In a timely manner, and as soon as I got too local car center on North Ave in Baltimore, customer care rep there took care of me excellently and I was done in Less than 10min.

My moms blind and I had to drive the rental car. They said my mom had to have a drivers license for her to use her credit card. I dont have a credit card. Enterprise car rental said that was ok and we rented from there.We always rent from Enterprise but the prices at Nextcar was cheaper. I explained the situation when I called Nextcar and they said it would be fine. But it wasnt fine when we went there. So we ended up renting from Enterprise again. I explained everything to Nextcar and they said it was ok, when we got there it wasnt fine at all. Nextcar was just a huge waste of time that we didnt have.

The customer service is horrible. This illiterate chick by the name of Stacy at the north ave location is so unprofessional. They are a bunch of scam when it’s time to get your deposit back. The tire blew out 20 mins after we pick it up and they are trying to charge us for their old tire. Smdh

*Update*My name is Audrey KronserI currently have a complaint in the system complaint #2099 since filing my complaint I haven’t received any resolution to my problems only more problems caused by a supervisor Mike Redinski. He sent 2 men (1 in a next car shirt one in street clothes) to my front door after telling me that I should be expecting a tow company, as I’m exiting my home with my children I was then harassed me to the point that the police had to be called. I then called Mike back to ask about the men in the unmarked black vehicle (picture attached) that showed up instead of the tow company. I was then yelled at and told I was being unreasonable for calling the police on 2 unsuspected men before being hung up on and never called back or having and of my phone calls answered.Wednesday Aug.22 a tow truck unexpectedly showed up to pick up the car because I was unaware I was unprepared and the key was not with me.Friday Aug.24 at 11:00am I’m called and told to drop off the key to Laurel by 1:00 or I will be charged 250$ for a key fee even though my contract is until tomorrow Aug.25thI’m so frustrated and disappointed with the customer service of this company!******************************************************Worst customer service ever! The distract manager Thiam was no help in resolving a problem with the faulty rental car they put me in. Instead he and employee Ladaijah thought it was best to blame the customer for maintenance and service lights being on in the 5/6 car that they put me in!This location has bad/unreliable cars and horrible customer serviceI will never use this company again
