Best barbers in the world they is nothing like this place from the owner to the staff best experience in my life
Family friendly environment. No excessively long waiting with an appointment. Professional staff
I’m here from out of town. Flexible times, professional barbers, and nice work.
Excellent barbers. Very skillful. A very professional environment
Well mannered men and woman
Ive been going to Nyle for years and love it. G is my barber he has the first chair as soon as you walk in. My son and now my grandson and myself. The whole shop is always professional.
Great barbershop and laid back Kool guys
This barbershop is the best. My children barber is Greg he cut at the first booth when entering the shop. All the men who work here are gentlemen and they use respectable language. If you are looking for a great barber visit here and ask for Greg.
Kennard last chair in the back is excellent 5 star service, great conversation with his NYC accent lol
Sent my son to get a haircut for the first time. He was charged $35 to have his sides faded. I think that was ridiculous! Needless to say, this will be the last time that we visit this barbershop. His haircut was basic with hardly a shape up. To charge that much is just taking advantage in my opinion. His barber was Kenard. Very disappointed.
Pleasant atmosphere. Music is on point. The brothers are all master barbers.
It was a great experience. First cut by a new barber.
The service is definitely exceptional
My barber is always on time and on point love his work and his skills
Best Barbershop they play good music and have funny conversations. You can even catch the owner cutting hair too. They have about 7 barbers and they all do top of the line non rushed cuts! This place can get pretty busy on Friday and Saturday so be mindful.
My experience was absolutely outstanding - let me say EXTRAORDINARY Professional barbers went above and beyond in making sure a 10 year old got the hair cut and style he wanted. One barber used his own personal cell phone to show photos for this young man to choose a cut and style. Now that is service. I give all the black men working as barbers and those waiting for service at Nile Style Barbershop an A plus for going above and beyond in making Dominicks experience AWESOME. I highly recommend this business for those who are seeking professional friendly service with good prices. They are Black Owned so lets support.
I take my client who is a regular. The barbers are great at what they do and helpful. This is one of the top barbershops in my opinion.
Rude people will never go back
Good Barber shop for men, women and children.. however, for some barbers you need to schedule appointments with them, otherwise you may be sitting for awhile. If you bring children, some music and conversation there may have inappropriate language that youll have to keep in mind.Nothing for kids to do to keep them busy while waiting so be sure to bring tablets or other items to keep them busy.Otherwise its a nice barber shop
Cut above the rest! Attention to detail when a brother gets his shape on! Im going back.
I love getting my haircut done at this place so much. The prices are nice and the people business relationships are so profesional!
Love the atmosphere, love the fact they don t use profanity and the music they play. I gave it one star because the guy who cut my 9 year old childs hair charge me $31.25 for a regular with a shape up. FOR A 9 YEAR LITTLE BOY!!! it was decent but I will never come back. That price was outrageous. I never in my life paid that much for a regular, mo hawk, or a low fade. I never paid more than $15.00 . If you want to save a lot of money go to Twice as Nice barber shop on Frankford rd. Ask for Shawn. He charges 10.00 for a regular with a shape up and 15.00 for a mo hawk and for fades for little boys and he does a way better job.
Great customer service
Great barbers..cool atmosphere...meet the owner when he was in college cutting hair at harrys afro hut on greenmount..good guy..
Very clean, great smell, good cuts. Best barber shop Ive ever been in would very much recommend you coming here. There barbers are very professional. Kid friendly, no profanity.
Was greeted nicely when we came in. There were 2 people waiting before us. As we sat 3 more people came in. All 3 left before us! We finally just left. Maybe they should say appointment only on the door. I wont be back. One barber actually worked on one persons cut for the hour and a half we waited.
(Found this place through IG hashtags)Came here looking for a barber, ended up finding brothas. ✊🏿 The feel of this barbershop is classy. There is respect, good vibes and brotherly love here. I personally recommend Kennard, cause he always hooked me UP! Had me feeling like a million bucks when I walked outta there. The owner, Nile, is also very respectable, which explains why the environment is so welcoming. I send everybody here💈
I was kind of disappointed with this location. Really hit or miss barbers. Some are really good and some will mess you up big time. At $30/cut that shouldnt be the case.
Nice friendly well established gentlemen
Always professional and clean ask for Des🔥
Great barbers. Good conversation . Overall a dope place to be.
I posted this same review on YELP.Today was my 1st time in this barbershop. I went there to test it out for 2 reasons: 1. To see if the barbers had a light touch. Meaning, clippers sharp enough to edge you up but not too sharp to cut you or hurt you. I have 2 boys that I want to find a barber for but I dont want them coming home hurting from the experience. I used my face as a guinea pig for the benefit of my sons. 2. To see if the atmosphere was proper for children. Too many Baltimore Shops have an atmosphere that can be downright scary to walk into or just have no governor on their personal expression or both. Sadly, this shop failed on both points. I bald my head. I asked for a beard shave and a bald head. Simple enough request I think. Well, my face feels like it went through acid. You know that taste on the tip of your tongue when you may have nicked your lip while trimming your mustache and you lick your lips? Yeah, that is what I taste across my lip. These young barbers today are so caught up with zero-gap trimmers, they fail to remember those things are going on soft flesh! Here is a hint, learn how to use a razor and you can complete the edge up nice and crisp without zero-gapping these machines. No way I can allow my boys to be subjected to this. And what is with Baltimore barbershops and their aversion to a razor blade? I ask for a shave. I dont get a hot lather and shave, I get an electric razor. Not quite the same thing. As for the atmosphere, it is well put together inside but thats about it. The language is not child friendly either from the barbers or the music they choose to play. Perhaps they felt free due to the time of day (school hours), I dont know for sure. Also, if you arent waiting on an appointment, good business sense suggest that you see if there are customers waiting on anyone in particular or just the next barber available. I waited for 30 minutes just to see if the barber who was rocking to the music in headphones all while sitting in his chair would see if he could serve a patron. It became clear that wasnt going to happen, so I went and asked him (I had some place to be and didnt have anymore time to waste on the experiment) if he was waiting on an appointment. He says no, hes open. Really?!Bottom line, if you arent as picky as I am, this place might be for you. If you expect a profession decorum from a supposedly professional environment and careful attention to detail, you may want to look elsewhere or at the very least, go in an observe every barber there before making a choice and save yourself some pain.2 stars because They did acknowledge me when I walked in and the physical presentation of the establishment was far better than most shops in and around the city.
Very child friendly, clean and professional atmosphere. The owner, Mr. Nile, is always respectful and polite to my boys. I will highly recommend this place for all age groups.
Great place! You have to get there early if you want to get in and out. Dante is my fave by far! Very professional!
