Hi everyone I just want to let us know my experience whit them. We made appointment on June 29 For July 13 for. Switch interlock device from one unit to another unit I went on time at 8:00 when get I bring my two vehicles for the switch interlock .... the skinny lady on the from desk telling me that they don’t have not enough employees but they don’t call me back I least one week before cuz now I spend time bringing two vehicles day off and now. They even try to resolve the issue ....I really I’m very disappointed of you s.a.p automotive group ....cuz I loose money for nothing day off plus bringing two vehicles for no resolutions that is suck ....

When one of my trucks cylinders malfunctions; I was misled by another vendor to suggest that he damage was more extensive and I needed a brand new engine. I brought my truck to S.A.P. for a second look, where Shawn and his staff quickly diagnosed the true problem which was far less extreme. The fixed this issue promptly and my truck now runs great, plus I spent far less then I was expecting. If you are looking for a honest broker in automotive repair, with quality workmanship, this is your place!

This is my second time going to SAP AUTOMOTIVE. Service was excellent and professionalism was amazing. I will return. I also appreciate Shawn explaining the issues with my car and how to avoid them.

I had a truly horrible experience with SAP that is still ongoing.We needed new shocks and struts in my 2008 Mazda so we decided to take it back there for the service.We dropped it off April 24th. After they examined the car they also suggested we replace the drivers side front axle and the lower control arms on the front and rear. We were told it should be done by the end of the day of Wednesday, April 26th. On the 26th we were told it was almost finished and they just needed to do an alignment before the end of the day.Finally on Friday the 28th we are told its almost done (I cant recall the exact circumstances why). At the end of the day Friday we are told that the passenger side front strut was blown out of the box and they had to order another one and they would install it on Saturday.Saturday rolls around. We decide to wait around for the car, since we have a million errands to run. We call at 12/1/2/3/4/5. No answer. Finally the owner calls us back at 5:45pm and claims he has been waiting around all day for the part and it didnt arrive. Interesting that he was waiting around all day and managed to miss our phone calls for nearly 6 hours.Monday comes - part arrives at end of the dayTuesday comes - part installed but suddenly found out that another part needed to be replaced. So thats another $250.Wednesday - waiting on next part to arriveThursday - they get the part late in the dayFriday - car is done. We go to pick it up and surprise the only thing they didnt charge labor on is the mystery part that they just noticed on Tuesday.We drive the car, it seems okay initially but after a couple weeks we start to notice noises again. Not being car people, we assume this is just because its an old car and since SAP did all that work it should be fine.Fast forward to 6/18 we are driving a couple hours from Baltimore and suddenly the car begins jerking and AT lights are coming on. We get to the Glen Burnie area and are scared to drive it any further, so we had it towed for free by AAA to a nearby mechanic.The primary problem with the car turned out to be the Transmission Control Unit which I am not holding SAP responsible for in any way. What did happen is when they went to diagnose this is they called me and asked Have you had recent repair work done? The frontend of this car is a mess, weve never seen anything like that. - after that they gave me a list of all the issues they came across that SAP had caused (they are the only ones who have ever done any frontend work to my car).1) When they installed the new struts, they used two different brands. One high quality, one cheap. The cheap one already blew out in a little over a month.2) The axle had the incorrect and unsafe bolt used to install it, and the axle may be the incorrect one for my car (sleeve was stretched beyond normal).3) The drivers side axle seal was busted and leaking transmission fluid4) There were missing pins on both outer tie rod ends5) The axle boot had been torn on the passenger side, causing grease to shoot all over the inside of the car.6) The steering knuckle had damage caused by a torch on the passenger side.7) There was damage to the bearing mount on the passenger side axle.8) They said the alignment was way off (SAP did an alignment as part of the work)After reading the list above, any reasonable person would understand that I would never in a million years let SAP touch my car again.So I reached out to them and attempted to resolve this. In the initial reply, Shawn Price the owner outright lied about their responsibility and I had to go back to the other mechanic to confirm this.I replied multiple times letting them know we would never be comfortable having them touch our car again after the butcher job they did and their follow up emails were generic and impersonal.Total costs:SAPs work: $2500Repair work done by the other mechanics: $1,942Rental car for 2 weeks: $550Avoid like the plague. Shady, poor communicators and horrible mechanics. Dont make my mistake.

Theyre a smaller shop so keep in mind that your car might not be ready the same day but Ive never had to wait over 24h for a complicated repair. I recently had my car serviced by SAP Automotive, which was recommended to me by my nephew. After the diagnosis, i was advised I needed to have my catalytic converter replaced. This diagnosis was spot on since I had been advised a couple of months earlier that my converter was nearing its normal lifetime.I have over 89,000 miles on a 96 Toyota.Gabriel the owner assured me he could get the converter at a good price, and assured me he could have the job done in in a reasonable amount of time. I was really surprised that his mechanic had my car done in about 2 hours. In fact, Gabriel came back to me in the customers waiting room about every 1/2 hour and gave me a status report on the progress of the work. True to hisword ,my car was ready in just over the 2 hour time he promised.It has been about 3 weeks since SAP Automotive fixed my car, and I am very pleased with the results. The owner and staff were very friendly during my time there, and this was a great customer service experience. Since I have an older model car, I am confident that SAP Automotive will be able to service my car for as long as I have it. I will recommend SAP Automotive to anyone who is in need of a reliable automotive repair shop. I was completely satisfied with the work they performed on my car.

These guys gave me the best price around when searching for new struts. Other shops wanted to charge me over $200 extra! My electrical contracting company Kite And Key Electric is right around the corner from SAP Automotive and they have been a lifesaver. They have done work on my Izuzu box truck replacing starters, steering components and transmission work to repairing a tire on the spot for my Tacoma. These guys know and understand customer service. They are my only mechanics.

They charged us 104$ for diagnostics...just to tell us whats wrong with my car and one of the part they priced twice the market price. And they added few other things to the Maintainence like every other mechanic. For spark plugs they quoted us 18$ per plug, later the front desk girl did the final estimate and the spark plugs were charged $10 each. If I didnt ask her to redo everything we wouldve paid $18 for the part. And that diagnostics was 25 point inspection and they didnt even check brakes and bunch of other stuff. Worst part is if they would have told us that they were going to charge hundred dollars to tell us whats wrong with my car I wouldnt have got it done. It took them 15 mins to bring out their device and check it. I was so mad... At least have the courtesy to tell your customer that you will be charged this amount if we look at your car. I wouldve gone someplace else where I couldve gotten an estimate and time to think about it and do some research.

Rude and ignorent. I called and asked for a very general pricing number for a certain part plus service and they just absolutely refused. They insisted I had to have it towed in. Very stupid to act that way to a potential customer.

The worst shop Ive ever been to. They fixed my Axel and put the wrong size rim on Two Weeks later the tire flew off as I was driving almost killing me and a few friends. When I called to complain the guy Sean told me to bring it back. I wasted a AAA towing it there just ti find out they couldnt look at it until tomorrow. I wouldnt take a 10 speed there let alone a car!

Way too expensive. They charge dealership prices at a place that doesnt even come remotely close to a dealership. Wanted $680 for a $250 job....outrageous!!! Dont bother....go somewhere else.

I had an unexpected break down.My 2001 honda accord had no power and was putting while making strange noises. Im new to the area but i found these guys via google and im glad i did. It needed a timing belt and water pump etc. i got it done and retrieve my car the same day. The price was good (i shopped around). Most of all i didnt needed to get a rent-a-car cause i need my car for work. I will recommend them to my co-workers and new neighbors !
