I called in by phone and tried to ask a question about a specific issue. I was told to come in to ask the question. I made an appointment, came in and sat down with an employee. I was then told by someone that yelled across the room that my question would not be answered because I was not an existing customer. My question was whether or not KAPERAK could help me with my particular issue. I was not looking for an specific answer to my problem. I only wanted to know if your firm could help with my particular issue. I went to another tax company and was helped with my issue. Thus you are correct, I was not a customer, nor will I be.
I was a 4 year customer of Kasperek and Co Accounts. Turnover led me to work with 3 different CPAs during that time. This year, all of my taxes were not complete on time, an error I blame on the lack of consistency since the part that was not complete was done in each of the previous 3 years. Also, the cost of my return took a big jump up this year (16.5%), for no apparent reason. I understand costs go up, but I expect good consistent service with it. I must add that I would have given them 3 or 4 stars prior to my experience this year.-I edited this review after a conversation with the owner.
Kasperek got my taxes done on time despite how late I got my info to them and the disorder it was in. They were great to work with and very efficient and saved me a ton of money.
Friendly is about all I can say good about them. Follow up communications were pretty bad, information was missed and overall not a very good experience.Update: Owner called me personally and discussed my experiences. I reviewed my concerns and he said it would be addressed. Updating to 3 stars
