This location is PERMANENTLY CLOSED Nearest main location is Union Ave. They had too many problems with theft and vandalism here, so had to shut down.

After a terrible experience with a different U-Haul location in Tulare, Jason and the team at the North Chester location in Bakersfield saved the day. He didnt have exactly what we needed, but offered something better at the same price. Thank you, Jason!

They only had one guy working, i understand because of whats going on, but when we got here we were second inline, unfortunately we’re brown and got skipped over twice

I tried to rent a truck here on December 3 2018. I had my DL and credit card. The manager on duty was at the desk. She asked for another phone number to call to confirm my ID? Preposterous service! Ive never been asked for something like that. I love Uhaul but this location is garbage for that.

I rented a 26 truck from this location (N.Chester) only to have it break down and I was stranded until after midnight, I rented it at closing 7p.m. The truck was not repairable and had to be towed. You would think because they were unable to fulfill their end of the agreement my $$ would be returned!! My account was charged a deposit of over a $100 and the manager, Shane, returned only $45 to my account, sent me a certificate for $40 and pocketed the difference!! (by the way I have yet to see the $45 returned to my bank account)Spoke with the regional manager and corporate office and no one can help me???to get the balance and not a certificate. Please rent elsewhere! Horribly rude!

Shane, the manager and his crew of young menare friendly in addition to being competent, knowledgeable and very capable of their duties while at work. Shane leads by example and can be seen sweeping on the lot and picking up trash.

Employees were friendly, but I got a hitch and wiring for trailer on my work van and the next day none of my lights work

I got here 10 minutes before they were supposed to close (Sunday 10/28/2018) just to buy a couple of boxes and the door was locked. It does make it inconvenient for some people.
