The driver Mario, was very professional and polite. His skills in the industry got my truck up and on his flat bed in no time. Mario worked with care and safety for my truck which left me comfortable leaving it in his hands.

They were here within 1 hour of calling. Tow truck driver was polite, and had my Ford Flex on his truck in 15 minutes. He definitely took pride in his job well done.

I tried calling 5 24-Hour Mobile locksmiths and no one answered their phone. I stumbled across Golden empire and Im so very thankful. Both the dispatcher and the driver were professional and knowledgeable yet still friendly. I wish I could remember the drivers name but he showed up in the time frame that the dispatcher had given me. The truck was a little hard to get into but he was extremely patient. I rarely post reviews but these people deserve a good review. I think theyre the best!

When my car was impounded no police hold was in effect, they told me otherwise even as I was on the phone with them while at the local KCSO being told by the sheriffs that no hold was in place.They shut down the local yard so I had to go to Bakersfield to retrieve my belongings from my car.When I went to retrieve my stuff, I had noticed that they had tried to rip out my drivers seat and left my ignition in the on position and killed my brand new battery causing it to leak.The yard guys were nice and very helpful, office staff not so much, and they wouldnt accept my title and just wanted to rack fees until they sold my car so my credit gets ruined.Overall horrible experience.

I have AAA Towing Services and I called them and it was gonna take 5 hrs to come out and tow us home. So I decided to get my own tow cause it was 105 degrees so there was no way I could wait for 5 hrs in the heat. Golden Empire came out within 30 mins. Very unprofessional business. We called for a towing service at 4:50 PM and they told us it would take an hour to get there. I called them at 6 PM cause they were not there and the lady that answered said that they were barely dispatching someone to us and that it would take 30 minutes to get to us. I called them again at 6:40 and the lady told us that they were backed up and had other cars ahead of us. She was really unprofessional and rude about when I asked her where they were. She could’ve told me that it would take 2 hours instead of 1 hour as she previously said in the beginning. I would recommend to go to any other towing company than this one. Never again.

My F-350 lost a rear wheel which dropped the hub and rotor onto the ground. Golden Empire Towing driver, Cesar, was superb. He was there in a timely manner and he did everything he could possibly do to minimize and eliminate any further damage while loading my truck onto his flatbed. Kudos to Cesar and thank you to all at Golden Empire Towing.

I broke down in Mojave at 3am and was trying to get to Bakersfield. I called them and the receptionist was very kind. She said they could have someone to me within an hour and a half. The tow truck was there just after 4 and was very quick and nice. Got it back home and paid a great price. Great company.

Had bad experience with Golden wanting 3 hour minimum for a 3 mile tow to Ford dealership in approximately 5 or 6 hours after an alternator gave out for approximately $1000. Later found out by company rep they charged 2 hour minimum. Cancelled tow and ended up with rv mobile tech who fixed issue in under 2 hours for less than tow alone. You should look for alternatives. Felt they were taking advantage of those in need, perhaps tourists.

Great drivers, attempt to help you solve a problem and treat you car with respect. If you call at 2am in the morning expect to wait 2 hours tho. But that what comes when u call in the middle of the night

Scheduled a next morning tow and they were not only on time, but a bit early and ready to roll which was nice. The fact we have a converted skoolie rv can be an issue for some companies but they treated like any other rv appropriately. Was a smooth follow and we made it UNDER the quoted time, another welcome surprise. Highly recommend.

I wanted to give a positive review for GET on sending somebody (2 actually) to pick me up this past Saturday night...well technically Sunday. My car shut down on me out near the 5 Freeway and 7th Standard (middle of nowhere), and they sent somebody out to get me at like 3am. The first guy drove out and didnt see me, he was probably like 200 yards away but turned around and left. I didnt think it was them but called back a little later to see if it was, and Amanda said she would send him back out. Hours later, they sent out a 2nd guy who was super nice (I didnt get his name, but hes from Taft), and he helped tow my car (and myself) back to McFarland. I must have called like a dozen or more places, even ones in Buttonwillow, Shafter, Wasco, Delano, and some in Bako...and this was the only place i could get to come get me. My car died at like 12:30am (with a p2172 code), and my phone battery almost died using it to call people/places all night. It was a long night, but wanted to give my gratitude to GET for helping me out. Sincerely, Brent.

I received an invoice today from Golden Empire Towing for a van I had sold. I called to ask if they wanted me to sign a release. I was told that it did not matter that I had sold the van. I would be charged $49 per day for 40 days plus $550 for towing if I didn’t get it out and it didn’t matter that I had sold the vehicle it would go on my credit. I hung up and read the notice again. I see that it says to notify the Golden Empire Towing that it was sold and give them (meaning Golden Empire Towing) the name and address of who you sold it to in writing that they would contact the other party. When asked I was told they won’t accept it. I have to go to dmv and file it. So I say why you lie about it and you couldn’t tell me this before? To which she responded “No I could not.” Followed by a laugh.. I will be following up with the better business bureau. It’s a sad world when during the middle of a pandemic, not to mention Christmas, you still want to cheat and lie and get over on people. Stay away from Golden Empire Towing. They are cheats and scammers. I would give them 0 stars but then I wouldn’t be able to warn people.

I would use them again no doubt...the service was professional and caring the driver was very good at driving and parked my R.V. in a very tight driveway and didnt get a scratch or no damage at all.They were on time all the way around and promt service...no complaints from me....this experience added to my sense of security and thank you all at Empire towing! 💙

The worst experience I ever had! Very unprofessional. If you want to get your car missed up go ahead and call them.Here is the story:I needed to get my car towed, I called them and they say it is going to take an hour to get here. And because they are unprofessional it took them 2 hours and a half!! (I was in white lane not out of Bakersfield). So the guy came and he said the company sent me even though he doesn’t usually drive these kind of trucks !!! (violation of law). AND GUESS WHAT! He didn’t hook up the car from the back so while he was getting my car down, the car almost fall of( check out the pictures), which causes an undercarriage damage. The company promised to fix the car within a few day. The car has been with them right now for almost two weeks !!

My semi truck and trailer got towed by this company. For 3 hrs they charged me $925 plus the $86 dollar at the police station for releasing my truck.Golden empire towing charged to twice for $925 transactions. Still didn’t get my money back. And when i went to pick up my truck from their yard. They blew up two tires and mudflap of my truck. They wasted my all day.

I couldnt agree more with previous reviews. Darren from truck 47 was phenomenal! He got to us at like 1:00 am to towe my vehicle. It took him less than an hour to arrive. Additionally, he took the time to help us push it into a parking space since we live in a apartment complex. Darren was awesome, on time, quick and efficient! Thats what I like to see in a company and I would return to use their services 100% again.
