The service technician was supposed to contact me the day before. Too many times this didn’t happen. If he didn’t he couldn’t service the entryway or backyard. Even if he didn’t service these areas I was charged the full price for the service, even though I explained this to the office personally I was still charged full price. He should have cleaned cobwebs he didn’t. There was a wasp nest by my back door he didn’t knock that down. Or kin purchased my service contract from Tamarack a few years ago. Tamarack did a wonderful job for me I wish they had sold their business contract to a more reliable company. Because of this I am looking for a new service.

Very polite and courteous. If I have an issue they will happily return to spray again at no charge. We mostly use them to keep the spiders, ants, beetles and Jerusalem Crickets in check. Thanks Orkin!

Tomas is an excellent inspector who needed 20 seconds to discover the first bug nest. Clear explanations and good communication skills. Very recommended!

The customer service provider who I spoke on the phone with was quick to call me after I inquired online, and she was able to schedule someone for the very following morning. The gentleman that they sent out was kind, professional, informative, and very helpful. He arrived on time during my appointment window, and helped me know what to expect with the service and future visits. We are very satisfied so far!

Not very thorough. Had to call them back within a couple weeks. Skimpy with chemicals. Service was a lot better under Banks before they took over. It takes a week for call back service and it seems that their pest control lasts about 2 weeks instead of 2 months. Irking needs to step it up. It takes forever just to get them on the phone. Not happy at all with orkin.

I have a new service technician but I prefer Darren. Not sure if Darren is still with Orkin. I’m noticing little ants in the bathroom sinks. The tech told me he didn’t have with him what I would need to take care of it but that he get it for me. It’s been over a month and I’m still waiting.

They are very through and polite. If they need to return they came back at no extra charge

However, my very first appointment was made and changed 3 times before they even came to my house. Their communication between corporate and individual branches needs improvement.

I am very disappointed in the service since Orkin took over from Banks. Its difficult to set up an appointment for two houses I have that require bimonthly spraying for roaches. I tried multiple phone numbers they have listed..it took way too much time to do this. Then when I finally got ahold of someone to set up appointments for my two houses they gave me a 4 hour window of time from 8am to 4pm. Really!!! Does this company think people are going to sit around for 4 hours!! Not sure if I will continue to do service with them. Plus every other year or a few months they loose employees. Not sure if its due to poor wages or management.. I have used them for 9 years and I am getting frustrated with a constant change of workers and now this 4 hour window time-line plus inability to get ahold of anyone when I call ...let alone they dont return calls.

They came out and treated for termites. We had a board right next to the house with termites, though no were actually found in the house. Decided it would be smart to treat the house just in case, as its awooden house. They were here all day and did all around the house and in the underneath. Courteous and professioinal.

We love using Orkin! They are always on time, professional, and quick. They make keeping up with our monthly spraying so easy and intuitive. They even alert you when it is time for their next visit. Would 100% recommend!

Roger has been our “bug guy” for the last 3 years! He is great with our child, dogs, and keeping the pests away! He has worked around our crazy schedules in the past and a few of our neighbors have enrolled with service due to his friendly and professional work ethic!

I’m so disappointed with Orkin. I signed up mainly because of the policy of them coming out free of charge in between services if you’re still experiencing issues. Well I did that, I even specified on the phone call to make the appointment that I was calling for the FREE service. I was given a window of 10-5 and waited all day for the exterminator to come out. I had something to do at 6, and was late to that because the exterminator didn’t come out until 6:15.On top of all of that, I’m now being sent a bill for the FREE SERVICE. I was told that because I was already scheduled to have someone come out at the end of that month (the appointment was for at the beginning of the month!) they just bumped up the charge. I’ve called at least 10 times to get this taken care of and each time I’m told a manager will call me back and they never do. I even had a phone appointment scheduled for today from 1-2 with a branch manager and still, no call.I’m afraid they’re going to send me to collections over a FREE SERVICE.Worst part is, i still have a pest issue!! It NEVER got better. I bought one of those things you plug into your wall and it sends a loud noise through the wires that only bugs can hear, and that $20 item has worked far better than the $200+ extermination services.So upset I still have to deal with this. At this point I just want all my money back.Update: I just received another bill from them for servicing in January... a service they never provided nor did I ask for. They literally haven’t been out to my house since early November, this is ridiculous. I have to spend my only day off this week going in person to deal with this because this apparently will not get solved over the phone.

My roof and attic were inspected for any possible places a critter could gain entry. Two small places were repaired. I will have them return on a regular basis to keep my attic empty and my water pipes intact.

Orkin provides excellent communication and service. The text and email notifications of their upcoming visits are great. It allows me the time to ask questions and/or ask for service in specific areas if needed.

Initially it seemed to be adequate but the last service they provided on July 15th the person didnt seem to cob web as I believe they told me that was part of the service each time they come out and they should be out again on the 15th of September and wed appreciate the spraying along with the cobwebing on this upcoming service, thank you!The September 16th service was much better considering what I previously stated about the cobwebing. The service tech this time was very friendly and seemed much more competent and professional which we appreciate very much! Thank you!

Ive been using Banks for ten years then they merged with Orkin. Never had a problem. Always did a great job. Charles came out today for a couple black widows that traveled to my place and he got rid of them and he had great customer service.

We have been with Orkin for over 2 years, since they began running Banks Pest Control in Bakersfield. We used Banks for over 40 years, and were extremely happy with them. The transition of ownership was seamless, and our prices were never raised.Today Miguel came our scheduled service and was friendly, courteous, accommodating, and thorough, We also added a new service for those mini, Ankle Biting mosquitoes who go after you in broad daylight. They use strategies that I am sure will eliminate these new pests!The office staff is also very accommodating and respectful. Billing is highly accurate and the cost is reasonable.I highly recommend Orkin to get poisonous black widow spiders under control, while minimizing the use of chemicals.

Mike our technician was Great! Although I was told they would take down all the spider webs and they did not. Mike did a great job at helping us with tips on how to avoid bugs coming back into our home.

I like this agent that came but others that have serviced our home don’t do what the commercial says they don’t get the spiderwebs or spray the FITB wheel or the storage room if I don’t remind them every time. The services provided as pest protection were adequate until recently. When I recently had live black widow spiders inside my house I tried to contact Orkin. I called and was on hold for hours at a time. I left messages and no one called me back. After 2 1/2 weeks I contacted Orkin and said I was a new customer and someone contacted me right away. This type of customer service is unacceptable in my opinion. I’m giving them one more chance as the technician that was finally sent out gave me his cell phone number. If I have one more problem Contacting someone from Orkin I will cancel my service and hire a local pest control.

My servicemen, Thomas Marchel, took care of three mice by placing traps throughout. I am extremely satisfied with him and my service.

Not only does he do a great job but he also makes us feel like our home is the most important home he services. I can’t say enough about him. Spider webs are still present in areas after service as well as mud dauber nests that I’ve had to remove myself. It seems like I am just a customer and they have to get to the next one quickly.

Today was my first experience with Orkin. The gentleman who came out was on time, very professional and thorough. I had a problem with what I thought was one black widow spider. As he sprayed and swept out all of the webs, he pointed out several black widows, baby black widows, and some that were brown widows—all poisonous. He educated me quite a bit on the types of spiders in my area and how he’ll be treating my home to keep the population down. He was very friendly and didn’t mind me tagging along as he worked. Excellent job Orkin! I will definitely be keeping you as my pest control company!

Jeremy Perry does a terrific job for me. He will explain his strategy for keeping the property as pest free as possible. Once I had a rat that was living in the house and he showed me what to do get it out of the living space. He also explained their habits and how to keep them outside. With Jeremy’s help I was able to capture and dispose of the rat. I’m glad Jeremy will continue to be my pest control tech even after the Banks to Orkin transition.

They call ahead and work with your schedule on each service. Because my voice mail box was full, the service man(Laurence) came to my door to set up a time. I was home and allowed him to perform the service on the spot. He avoided spraying sensitive areas (our garden) and used notes our former bug man had left him regarding potential antflare ups.At this point I’m pleased.

They did not clean and spray around my pool and pool fence.

Absolutely amazing customer service! Eager to help, and they make sure you understand everything. They work with your schedule and have no issue coming to do an extra spray if you need one in between. Sept 27th was our last service that we got from orkin. 1 week later I’ve seen spiders already crawling on our walls. I tried to call the office but I waited 10 mins so I just hang up. Not satisfied with the service. I might drop this company and look for a better one.

I have used the same pest control for 6 years and it seems that each year it gets better and better. The technician always calls to let me know when he is coming, they are on time and quiet, which is important because I sleep during the day. Nothing on the property is ever disturbed and there is never a mess. I will keep using them.

They never call to set an appointment. They just show up when they feel like it. I said to wait a month back in March during the coronavirus situation. I never heard back and it’s now the end of June and they just showed up randomly. And they barely spray anything with their little canister, it used to be different when Banks would spray with their truck. And they won’t spray around the perimeter of my back yard at all... ignoring all the bugs that make their way to my house! Very shoddy service!

Simply said the only good bug is a dead bug.I let Justin know that fact when he arrived since that was his first question. He does a great job every time he comes to our house.I have not needed to go out with my bug killer in hand to hunt for black windows for years.Justin always notifies me in advance of his arrival and is on time.
