Very good place of business. Very honest and transparent. These guys really go out of their way to make sure you get what you need. I had an incident with damage to my bumper of my truck. They didnt argue or try to blame me. They just made it right. Their prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this company to anyone. They have mine and my familys business.

I am very grateful for their hours. It gives much more flexibility in renting and returning equipment.

Had a problem with the last batch of concrete I ordered. I left a review about it and the sales manager Jerry got a hold of me and came over to my house and they took care of the situation. I am very impressed that he came out to my home and offered to pay for my second batch of concrete.

Had a tractor delivered to my home to help landscape my yard. The tractor was practically brand new. The driver Jose was very helpful and showed me how to operate the tractor properly. Will never use anyone else!

Good guys, laid back, very good at answering questions. Luckily there was a trailer waiting for me, though. Reserved one a few days before I picked it up, but was given a different one. Slightly unorganized, but they have a ton of stuff, so chances are theyre gonna have what you need.

Best rental place in the kern county area. As a former concrete contractor, they give me the best service and upmost respect. And most of all they have a kind staff thats there always to answer your questions and treat u with the best customer service possible. I recommend this rental place to anybody looking for equipment to rent. Save your money and rent GCI.

I rented a Bobcat and had it for 6 days. But, I was only able to use it for 1 day because of work and other issues. So, I only got charged for 1 day! They are good people!

NOT Recommended. Early May I rented a 1/2 power snake. Apparently they dont replace the snake cables as they should as it broke off in my line without even hitting an obstacle. I took it back, explained what happened and asked how they were going to resolve their problem. Employees were good but had no remedy so I asked to speak to the manager. They didnt want to talk to me and simply said they would not charge for the rental - basically did nothing and didnt care enough to talk to me. One of the employees called a plumber that he works with and explain they had a problem that need to be resolved. He came out to the house and spent a good deal of time attempting to retrieve the broken cable. He said it might have slid down into the sump pit. I paid his bill and on May 9th sent a copy to the manager of CGI asking for reimbursement and explained it all. The manager has ignored my letter. My experience is poor customer service, lack of equipment maintenance and total lack of caring for the customer or common business ethics. I would avoid CGI Equipment Rental, use their competitors for your rental needs to avoid similar problems.

Call ahead, said they have concrete unit, say they will hold it, get there 10 minutes later, see the unit on another vehicle, after I pay the deposit, they tell me they no longer have?????!Give me refund and apologize. I haven’t been this disappointed with customer service in 52 years!

Large selection of equipment, good prices..

Company over charged me, didnt stick to the amount agreed to. Was charged an extra $200 and didnt even get my deposit back for almost 4 months. Would never rent from this company again and would advise others to stay as far away as you can!!
