Refugios helped us when our truck went down at Wheeler Ridge. They were able to perform a quick repair so that the truck and trailer could be driven to their shop instead of racking up a costly tow bill. The same mechanic worked on the truck until the repair was completed THE SAME DAY! So much better than the dealerships, they really care about the quality of their work and know how important it is to get the truck back on the road quickly. Thank you Refugios for an excellent job!

I think they went above and beyond to help us and Highly recommend them.We broke down on the Grapevine on Mothers Day on the way to see family in Washington State. We were towed to Refugios that Sunday night. The next morning I spoke to the Manager at Refugios to see if they could help. He explained that they have not done much Motorhome work, but would take a look. Before I knew it, I had three Techs troubleshoot and find the problem within one hour. One problem...the part needed to be replaced, but was obsolete. Luckily, the manufacturer still did refurbishing of the old part, but required part to be shipped to them...in Minnesota. No problem for Refugios. They sent the part over night and within 3 days we were back on the road.Dennis

The transmission on my KW gave out on the grapevine. June 19th 2019. One of their repair trucks stopped to see if they could help. The driver gave me his card. I called around for a tow and other shops but Refugios was close and just under $100 an hour.I had tenwest towing rip me off and got it over there.$185 an hour tow job? 3.5 hours. To go 35 miles Crazy. The guy was cool but seemed excessive.They fit me in right away, diagnosed the problem, ordered parts, kept me informed. Reasonably Priced. Did the job and got me moving again.About 3 months later noticed the rear gasket had a small leak. Not good. Was able to get back 4 months later since I live on the east coast. November. 13 2019. the transmission is under warranty for a year but I didn’t get it back soon enough for 3 month labor warranty.They got me in right away again, got the part and had me rolling in a few hours. Cost me $100 in labor cause the job was done just over 4 months. Seemed reasonable enough.Great guys seem to know their stuff.I’ll be backGood luck to you guys.I’ll let y’all know if there’s another leak.-WGP

Don’t take a chance on this shop they love hiking up the price on their parts and hiking up the hours spent working on your vehicle, for example you have a 3 hour repair they will charge you 12... F them never again.... they will also diagnose a problem be wrong about it work on your truck then be wrong aboutAbout their diagnosis and send you off spending money you didn’t have to and with your truck still broken

Horrible communication and slow service, we took our diesel truck in for service. All it needed was 3 solenoids. We already knew what it needed and informed the person at the counter ahead of time. The truck was dropped off of Monday, they kept it until Thursday afternoon because they got the incorrect solenoids but failed to communicate anything to me. Needless to say we lost 4 days of work for something that could have been taken care of in 1. Will never use them again.

WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS. WHERE DO I START. TRUCK BLEW A FUEL PUMP NEAR BAKERSFIELD. THEY SAID THEY HAD TO TOW IT TO THEIR SHOP. CALLED AND SAID THE PUMP BLOW PARTS INTO THE MOTOR. NEEDS BEARINGS AND OTHER PARTS. $18,000.00 PLUS DOLLARS. 8 DAYS LATER THE ENGINE BLEW UP 100%. WITH THEIR ONE YEAR WARRANTY THEY SAID THEY WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT. BUT IT NEEDED A NEW PISTONS & LINERS & THE HEAD REBUILT. ANOTHER $9,000.00. I OVERLOOKED THAT AND GAVE THEM ANOTHER TRY WITH A TRUCK THAT BROKE THE DRIVESHAFT. TOLD US THE DRIVE SHAFT WAS TOTALLY GONE AND WE NEED A NEW ONE, OR THEY COULD GO TO A TRUCK WRECKING FACILITY AND GET ONE. AFTER A WHILE I TOLD THEM TO PUT THE NEW ONE ON. $2400.00... GUESS WHAT, WHEN THE TRUCK CAME BACK TO THE YARD IT HAS A USED DRIVESHAFT. BUT THEY WERE ABLE TO CHARGE US FOR THE NEW ONE. NOW THEY ARE SAYING THEY WILL NOT GIVE US MONEY BACK. THEN THEY SAY THEY WILL, THEN THEY WILL NOT. I WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER OFF TAKING MY TRUCK TO FREIGHTLINER, PETERBUILT, KW. AND PAID FULL PRICE. NOW IM HOPING THE GAVE ME OEM PARTS ON THE MOTOR LIKE THEY SAID THEY DID?? SCARY PLACEUPDATE 12/1/18HAD ANOTHER BREAK DOWN IN FRONT OF THEIR SHOP OF THE I-99 AND HAD A DIFFERENT MECHANIC GO LOOK AT THE TRUCK. AFTER 4 HOURS HE SAID IT WAS A WATER HOSE GOING TO THE DEF FUEL TANK AND HE COULD NOT FIX IT ON THE ROAD AND IT NEEDED A TOW. SO WE TOWED IT TO REFUGIOS. 15 MINUTES LATER THEY TOLD US IT WAS NOT A HOSE, BUT A LOOSE FITTING AND HAD THE TRUCK READY WITHIN AN HOUR. I GUESS YOU NEVER KNOW AFTER A BAD EXPERIENCE THEY COME BACK AND LOOK LIKE HEROS 6 MONTHS LATER. THIS PAST EXPERIENCE WAS A 5 STAR. SO ILL AVERAGE THEM AT 3. LETS HOPE THE NEXT ON IS A 5 SO THEIR RATING WILL GO UP

This is bad shop ever go.they charge for repairs they not sure is the problem. Only to make more money in you truck. I never recommend this shop.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND REFUGIOS ROAD SERVICE . THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB ON MY DODGE DIESEL TRUCK. I BELIEVE THEY CHARGE ME A FAIR PRICE FOR THEIR WORK AND IN TOP OF THAT THEY WARRANTY THEIR WORK. I WILL BE COMING BACK TO IN THE FUTURE.

My Truck had a fault in the DPF sensor and it was repaired and regenerated here, then for the second time the same thing happened to me but in a different truck, but now it was for me with a crane they towed me with all Truck with trailer they changed my clutch, they have With emergency services and Road service, excellent attention and professionalism 100% recommended if you stay out of the way, arrive very fast, have many units to give attention

I had a very bad experience on October 30, 2019, I do not recommend them because 15 years ago if Don refuge worked there ,,, but the people who are there today are not professionals ,,, I arrived with a problem I came with two , They ruined my air conditioner and they were not responsible, they tried to hide the problem ,,, maybe to change tires they can occupy them 😥😥😥😥
