First time getting my haircut here. I was welcomed politely and accepted as a walk in.The place had a good vibe and all the barbers seemed really on top of things. Ill be back.

I have gone to this shop multiple times and normally just shrug it off when they make a mistake. Not this time; this last hair cut was trash and it showed. I expect a higher quality of work and for a barber to pride themselves on their craft as apposed to treating it as a joke. will never go there again and recommend you dont either.

THEY CARE FOR WHOS IN THEIR CHAIR.I have been trying to find a barber who interacts with my 7 year old. My son is very independent and knows what he wants. Anthony is SOOO great with that. My son holds full conversation while getting his hair cut the way HE wants it cut. I appreciate the acknowledgement he gives him. I would recommend West Coast Barber Shop to every parent who has to let their once baby, now big boy grow up.

My barber wasnt in town and I needed a hair cut, so I went to this place. It had a nice atmosphere. I was able to get a sit as soon as I walked through the doors. A guy named Luis gave me the cut. I was nervous going to another barber since I was going to my guy for years. He did a great job I was well pleased with the outcome. Didnt talk the whole time asked a few questions but other than that down to business. I would recommend anyone to try it out. I may have just found a new spot.

Good cuts. Im normally a walk in. But I set up an appointment and still waiting for about an hour because the barber wanted to take his time on his break. Other then that great cuts and just an over all good place.

Online says they close at 6pm . Today ( 2-15-20) at 3pm . Me and my son walked in they told us they are no longer taking walk ins. When it says they close at 6pm online. This is the only reason I gave them 1 star .

Good barber shop. Guys are friendly and always do a good job on my sons hair and always cut it how he wants it. Only one problem, everytime I call, all they say is hello? Like theyre answering their home phone. I always have to ask if I called the right place. Nobody ever says their name when they pick up so we never know who my son is supposed to ask for. You kinda get tossed around on the phone to whoever has an opening that day. These guys really could use a receptionist to answer calls and book appointments. Other than that, the shop itself is great, always clean and comfortable.

Had my hair cut by George. Extremely unprofessional with me and kind of rude. Furthermore he cut my hair terribly. Second time was with Saul, he was also extremely unprofessional. I waited there for three hours one time. If your going to go there, you need to make an appointment.

Waited 4 hours for a haircut just to be told. They cant cut my hair due to lunch.

First time going in there, I even told the guy cutting my hair its my first time. The guy who cut my hair was okay with clippers but horrible with scissors.. I came out looking like I just got a haircut from a lawn mower. I had to tell him theres a couple spots he missed when he was about done with my haircut. Not pleased at all with the service and definitely not with the haircut! First impressions are everything. Not coming again.

A MUST GO - If you want it done by the pros with a good attitude - Go see my boy Kane - Major Props to a fresh cut every time. Designs are on point - make sure to stop in even if its a drive - its worth every penny.

Im new to Bakersfield so Ive been going around to different places and hands down the best place. Gilbert cut my hair and he did great... Im coming back!

Regular customer here I get Ma weekly cutz each Thursday visit are by appointment but they do take walk ins as well clean shop up to date all type of ppl come and get cut also no matter who U are where u go pull up to this shop u will be very happy

Ive been to Texas, miami, georgia, and up and down the west coast and have yet to find another barbershop like this. Professional clean and always fresh. Most definitely recommend it to anyone looking for the best.

Big shout out to west coast barber I came in town from TEXAS and they got me right in walk in and hooked it up a fresh fade the best I have had with my slick back. Ask for Saul or any of his co-barbers and they will hook it up.

I went yesterday for a hair cut and Gilbert did an excellent job! He hooked it up Im definitely coming back!
