I’m pretty sure the barber added himself a tip because it came out to 37 and I didn’t have an option to add a tip or sign. I asked for a skin fade, he didn’t use a razor so now I have a bunch of peach fuzz on my neck and it’s not blended in correctly so you can see a visible line.I have patches of long hair on the back and my sides. I asked for some gel and was also decided the request.

Took my 2 and 4 year old here, they made them feel welcomed. The barbers are great people and did a great job. I am very pleased, it’s definitely worth the drive!

I arrived as a walk in with both barbers occupied with clients. I was promptly seen to and waited about 15 minutes in their very comfortable lounge. Great seating and atmosphere. Hector was my barber and discussed what I wanted with great attention. The cut was professional, and the end result was perfect. They take cards as well as cash. I would recommend and will be back.

One of the cleanest shops in town. My husband and son go in to get their haircut with Lupe, and she works her magic as always with both (they used to go to American Barber Shop, and the serviced has gone downhill). My husband even mentioned that he would follow her (within reason) if she ever leave or build her own shop. Overall, Freds Barber shop, one of the best shops in Kern County.

Ive been coming to this barbershop for almost a year. It may easy to miss travelling down Rosedale Highway but youll be glad you stopped. Clean, professional and a friendly staff makes Freds a great place to get a haircut. When the wait is long (which can happen during certain times a day), youll be able to wait in a large waiting area filled with comfortable couches and large screen TV. When sitting in the chair, you also be able to check out your favorite game on another TV as well. Refreshments are available as are clean restrooms. Located off of Rosedale Highway just off West off the 99.

To expensive to take a kid under 1 year old. Charged me 26$ for a very simple cut but they seems alright. Just to expensive for me.

Met my guy there to get his haircut. Shop was pretty busy and had to wait a bit. Luckily, the shop has big screen TVs and comfy couches. Nice to know that half the barbers were female barbers and they seem extremely busy. Pretty clean and good size shop, however the parking not so much (only reason Im rating 3).

Im glad I found this place. Chill spot and family friendly. Good barbers, good people. My boy Hector knows how to cut hair and doesnt overcharge.

Started coming to this barber shop and its a pretty awesome. Most of the barbers are pros, but overall the hot chick (Lupe, reminds me of J-LO), is not just gorgeous but she is a great barber, very professional along with great customer service. From now on, she will be touching my hair only.
