Do not go here!!! I can not stress this enough!I was last here a few years ago as a kid and their food was delicious. I come here now to take a friend out to eat and the food tasted as if it had been there all day. There was food all over the floor and it was definitely now how I remembered it. It was $42 just to enjoy talking to my friend basically. Will not be coming back again. DO NOT COME HERE

Great place to take the family when everyone wants something different to eat. Some of the food definitely tasted as though it had been sitting for a while.

I ate two large plates of food and it has gotten much better than my last visit a couple of years ago. A lot of the dessert options are no longer sugar free (way better)!Service was top notch with more servers offering refills and clearing tables.Definitely an improvement!

Comparing between the 1st time I ate here when it 1st open and now, the overall quality of food is on a individual taste bud experience. My experience was some of the food was too salty or no seasoning at all. A lot of the food was lathered in grease, but I think thats normal. The lack of employees was understandable. Overall the experience was decent and the food I liked was decent. Could use some improvements though.

Let me start with, I LOVE GOLDEN CORRAL.I love thier food, the concept, and the ease of feeding my kids whom of which 3 are under 5. I have no complaints about that.Its the service.There is one waitress in particular who will move you no matter where you sit. She doesnt want to serve you and so she moves everyone she can out of her area, so it stays clean and shiny. Whatever. Did I mention she waits until youve seated your entire family, then requests you move your 7 person party on your own while juggling your 3 month old?It was ridiculous.The first time it happened to my husband while he was trying to feed the baby and I had the kids at the buffet. He had to move all of the drinks, baby carrier, and feed the baby while this woman was barking that we should have known no one could sit there, even though there was no signage or materials blocking the entry.The second time, I was there with all the kids and my grandmother, and once again, while I was feeding the baby this time, she came and moved us again. Its horrendous and embarrasing and the way she approaches you with such a condesending demeanor ruins the entire experience.At this point, Ill pay more to get less of what I want and better service at Hometown Buffet or one of our various other options. Its worth the drive to not deal with that nightmare of a woman.

My man, his mom and I had a blast ate so much we couldnt eat anymore. Desert time came my man had to point out his ice cream was like me and him when were next to each other 😀😘 wouldnt have it any other way. The staff was awesome and happy also on top of what we needed or wanted

Went here for the dinner buffet and had a great experience. The food trays were constantly being filled and the food was fresh and tasty. Our waitress was also very friendly and jovial. Highly recommend this location to anyone.

Took a turn for the WORSE I hadnt been there since before the pandemic. They went up bout $4.00 on their price. They took away the yellow, blue, green and red plates. Customers are now eating off the salad plates. And some of the food is over cook. My fried catfish was hard as a rock.I dont know what they did, but it is definitely WORSE I loved going there. Now Im not sure.

If I could give zero stars I would. The food was disgusting! Like eating at a run down 7-11. The bathrooms were so gross that my daughter came back crying because she didnt want to sit on a toilet that was so nasty, shes 8. I needed a refill and after waiting for 15 minutes, I got up and got it myself. I had to walk past the employee taking a break in their phone (sitting at a table right next to the drink station). They didnt even give me a second look. As a small bonus, that employees table had more junk and old food on it than most of the other tables there. They cant even keep their own table clean! To top it off, my family of 4 paid over $90 to get in there.

Its all about timing. Be patient and wait until they put out a fresh dish. Fried chicken, so good.

There was barely any food and what little food there was was NO good. The salad bar was empty except for the soured veggies. They had old hard and cold breakfast still out at 3pm and when we complained the manager proceeded to argue with us and tried to insist there was plenty of Fresh food out when there wasnt. The floor and the counters were filled with trash and food. Normally the service is great as well as the food but this last time truly was DISGUSTING. AND I DONT THINK I WILL BE GOING BACK ANYTIME SOON

Kinda crowded but I see why. Food is AMAZING. I would definitely recommend. Kids 3 and under eat free. They offer a discount for seniors. My mom and I and my 2 toddlers got lunch for $30 with 2 drinks. Huge selection and awesome dessert. I usually take photos but I completely forgot because I was so focused on stuffing my face 😂. This is definitely my new favorite spot. They have high chairs, hand sanitizer and gloves available. Safety dividers at checkout, wheelchair accessible parking and entrance. Theres claw machines and games for the kids, our waiter was awesome. Food was fresh and tasted great. They have restrooms available and disinfect surfaces between customers.

The price has gone way up! I went alone today single person for lunch with one drink came out to $21! The food selection is okay and the customer service is okay as well. The buffet gets pretty packed so if you are trying to go I suggest going on a week day early as soon as they open.

Great place. Has everything for individual. Self serve except for the drinks a waiter or waitress will attend to that and your napkins. They will also clean up around you and get you anything you need, if you cant find it on your own.

My favorite buffet aft 4pm. Steak cooked to perfection, fried shrimp, meatloaf, okra, entrees & sides galore!

The wait staff was good. The selection was not as good as other sites I had been to and was kinda dirty. I would go again to give another chance, maybe it was a off day cause other sites like Oxnard have been awesome.

Reasonable price. Good customer service. Good food variety. Glad they are open again!

I would totally recommend going for dinner.. The steak was amazing, along with the other foods pretty good! It was just like I remember it was..If your considering going to lunch though I wouldnt recommend it!! Total waste of money in my opinion.

Love this place. The variety of main dishes is excellent. Love the fried chicken the fried fish and, as my dad was from the south, I grew up with liver and onions and this is one of the few places I know that has it for lunch.

We went for my daughters birthday dinner and the Food was, as usual, great and our waiter was excellent! Even gathered up a few other co-workers to sing Happy birthday to her. Plus we were able to bring in a cake.

The waitress never came to our table. She helped everyone else, but ignored us the whole time. We had to get other servers to assist us. Finally, got a manager, he wasnt helpful either. Felt his words were empty as the waitress was. Food was bland, cold and bitter.

There was really no waiting to be seated, and the steak was cooked real good. The salad bar had lots to choose from.. but the rest of the food choices were either empty, because they were all out, or the food item looked like it had been sitting under the heat lamp..even the desert were dried out.. iwould say save your money. 😞

I love the Corral in Bakersfield. The food is good and plentiful. The employees are helpful and polite, and you always run into someone you know. Its the best sort of place.

Had to be rung up two times waited for a table for 10 minutes and we were 5 adults with an infant and a toddler sat in a terrible place some guy kicked the infant carrier, had to ask for silverware and had to get our own refills, another family was sat behind us and it was just too many of us in such a small space! Food was disgusting except for the tri tip, and on an empty 2 person table by our table sat stack of dishes with food on them the whole time we were there! The servers just left them there for an hour or longer atleast! Must be new people working here because this place aint ever been completely out of wack like they were the night me and my family were there!!! Been coming here since they opened, Purdy sure this was our last time going there ever again!!! Good Luck!!

Very disappointed in the variety of food. Salad bar was not restocked, food preparation was not looking good. I wish I had taken photos. I dont know how so many homeless people were there at $20.00 a head. My wife felt very uncomfortable. Based on our previous night out there we was so excited to see you reopen. Not sure we want to go back. Sorry about the complaint. I dont normally feel this way.

The food was freshly cooked. From the moment we got there customer service was excellent. Thank you, for making our choice the right choice.

Staff was great but the food sucked. 127.00 bucks!! They had us all crammed in one section and it made it difficult for us to get out of our chairs to get our plates.

Many choices but absolutely nothing as good as they should be. People just dont put the good qualities into it anymore. Salad bar was the best . Clean and fresh. The rest of it was just marginal. Ill go back but not all the time at all.

I went with two friends. The buffet charge was extremely pricey for extremely unpleasant food, It was mediocre at best, restroom smelled horrible which ruined my appetite further, on top of that as we were leaving we tried the toy machines to try and salvage our day out. One of the managers decided he wanted to have an argument,was EXTREMELY rude to us and and completely unreasonable. We all regretted going and wed all like our money back :/

I was so disappointed with this place. It was dirty, all available tables were not clean, hardly any food out to choose from, Turkey was the main meat. I felt sorry for the 1 waitress who served everyone until the other 1 was there. And there was a lot of ppl there. Yeah, we wont go back for awhile. (And this was 1 of my favorite places.PS. There was a diaper on the floor and a dog under a stroller.

So disappointed 😞. The salad bar was in need of restocking from the time we were seated to the time we left. Very few meat options. When we asked an employee if they were going to be making more stake her reply was very snippy and rude. When it was finally cooked the taste and texture were awful.

Not to bad, only had basic food...some wasnt even hot. Everyone was wearing a mask and looked like they stayed sanitized.
