Tremendous service, honest and unbeatable prices! I called Cost Less Heating & Air Conditioning when my central air conditioning unit was not performing up to par. They took time out of a very busy Monday (A/C always goes out on the weekend, right!) to make a service call at my house. Their technician quickly diagnosed the issue my unit was having and fixed the problem in no time. Before the service call, they were very patiently listening to my questions over the telephone and shared what they thought might be the problem. Sure enough - they were right. They also shared ideas on how I could avoid future service calls by performing simple maintenance tasks I can do myself. Cost Less Heating and Air Conditioning is the best of the best. Dont hesitate to give them a call for your service needs.

Set an appointment and couldn’t get anyone out. Meanwhile my fridge is not working so no way to keep food cold or frozen. I do not recommend.

Im so amassed with this companys integrity, I had a problem with my AC didnt work, I remember that my heater was fixed last November by one of the biggest heating and air conditioning company the one you see their Vans driving everywhere in town, I actually called them, they came out and they told me that my control board was bad and it will cost me $950.00 to have it replaced, I authorize the estimate and they replaced it for me. When my AC didnt work this summer, I refused to call them up again, but the worst still coming, my AC was working perfectly last summer and had no problem with it and when I turned on this year the AC didnt work, I called cost less heating and air conditioning company which I was referred to by my neighbor after they fix their AC I glade they did, so, I decided to give them a try, I called the office and made an appointment to come and check my AC, their technician came to my house two young men, they were very knowledgeable, they went on top of the roof to check my AC, in less than twenty minutes my AC start working again, they fixed it so quick, so I went to get my check book and waiting for the bad news, they came down and one of them start writing the invoice and handed to me it was $85.00 I didnt believe my self it was $85.00, I asked him did you forget some numbers, they start laughing and said no its $85.00 then one of them and I think he is the technician and the other one is his assistance, he start explaining what was wrong with my AC and why it didnt work, you wont believe it, all what he has to do was to connect one wire belong to the AC operation was disconnected from the thermostat connection on my heater blower housing as he told me, and my AC start working and cooling fine like last year, I was speechless, I couldnt say a word, I was in shock I didnt know what to say, I start telling them about the other company who came out and fixed heater last November, then he told me that he went on a few calls has similar problem. I thanked both of them and I offered them cold drink and generous tip. Now I now the other company who came out and fixed my heater they are the one who disconnected my AC wire because they were the only one went on top of my roof, they did it purposely so I call them again, now I wonder is it really my board was bad or what, my advice to everyone who call for service on their heating or air conditioning unit please check the operation of both units before they leave and for cost less heating and air conditioning company they have hundred stars from me for their honest job and professional technicians. Definitely they are my only heating and air conditioning company will ever come to my house and I was also surprise to know they also work on the other home appliance as well, I will recommend you guys to all my friends ad family

My Maytag dryer wasnt drying. The repair man came out and fixed it, we both thought.. But wasnt completely fixed, called and they came back the next day and cleaned the vent better and all was good. They stood by their work. Very pleased.

I have recently had problems with my air conditioner right when its hitting a hundred degrees we called the company cost less repair. I am urging everyone not to call for their services they are rude unprofessional untrustworthy. I recently called to have my air conditioner and looked at and repaired I was told that this motor was not to be found here in town in Bakersfield California later on during the week for a second opinion I was told that that motor is found here in town in Bakersfield. I confronted Cost Les heating and air conditioning and I was harassed I was cursed at and I was hung up on and after I had mentioned that that part was found here in town nothing else could be sad. They refused to give us back our deposit which only required maybe a 10% of the total cost of the repair however half of the price was given now they refuse to give that money back. It is against the law for the company to ask for more than 10% of their services. It states here deposits on a special part are nonrefundable however this was not a special part nor was it never specified to be a special part its a regular part that they said themselves they could not find here in town. From this experience I advise anyone with any air conditioner problems never call Cost Less appliances. They do not respect their customers again they are rude disrespectful vulgar. I will be calling the Better Business Bureau and also the construction state license and explaining the situation because this shall not stay this way the deposit should be returned inition had never been asked for more than 10%. They lied and said that it would be here from 1 to 2 days because it was coming from Texas and when I call to get a tracking number Laura the woman on the other line who was vulgar and kept hanging up on me said she did not have that information she did not know the name of the supplier and she didnt have any tracking number or when that part would ever come in that was the most disturbing news that I have had heard especially having a 5 month old baby not being able to go to sleep because he is too hot this is something that should have been fixed over a week ago and we are still waiting to hear. Cost less appliances is not the place to do business please spread the word and do not go do not even call. Thank you0

I had called company after company, and they had all told me that it would be anywhere from a week to two weeks until I would be able to have someone go out there and take a look at my A/C unit. I have a 3 week old newborn and there was just no way that I could wait that long to have someone go out and take a look at my unit. It felt like I went through almost the entire phone book until these guys were able to fit me in the same day. Not only did the people on the phone sound friendly, but they earnestly seemed to do their best to get someone out for me faster due to my newborn. I was ecstatic at the fact that they had managed to fit me in, but then I was even more pleased that their service call was half of what these other companies were going to charge me. I had two young gentlemen at my house within an hour, and although they seemed young, they had no problem diagnosing the issue with my A/C and they had it up and running within 40 minutes. I truly felt that their customer service went above and beyond, and I was just very thankful that I came across them when I did, and that it did not cost me an arm and a leg to fix my A/C unit. I would highly recommend this company, and I will definitely call them back out if I ever have any other issues with my home appliances.

I had another company come out initially and told me I needed to replace the entire unit. I called costless and not only did they show up fast it was affordable! It was $185 instead of the $7500 for a new unit! I highly recommend them!

We paid j&r appliance to come out to fix my fridgidaire affinity dryer an they charged close to 300 to not fix our dryer properly I called cost u less an with in a hour or so on the same day brad an Isaac came out for 30 bucks told us to clean the filter with soap an water fixed the problem they were fast courtious friendly helpful an was very happy with them I would use them again for sure

I love this company and I will never call any other company, these people are amazing, and very honest, I’m a single dad and every penny count you know how it goes, in this hot weather my AC suddenly stopped, I called an air conditioning company they came out and told me I have a bad control board and I have to replace it to make my air condition working again, and it will cost me $850.00, I almost fainted, I told him to give sometimes to have the money ready, I paid their service call $89.95 and they left, while I’m in shock I decided to call another air conditioning company, my coworker she was talking about another company their name cost less air conditioning company and that their technician are very good, I decided to call them, they came out but I didn’t tell him what the other company told me, I let him to figure it out himself, he checked my AC outside and the wall thermostat, then he went into the attic, after about forty minutes in the attic my AC start working I can feel the cold air coming out from the vent again I was so happy, so I waited for him to come down and tell me what he did to get it to work. He told me that one of the plug on the control board was shorted, and he repaired it and now is working ok, my chews dropped down I’m not kidding, I said what, he repeat what he said and he give me a bill for $125.00, I didn’t believe myself I turned my air conditioning off & on few times and my air condition worked ok. Then I start telling him about the other company and they told me I have bad control board, then he told me even if they replaced the board still they have to fix the plug, I thanked God that I called them, after I paid him and left, I decided to call the other company try to get my $89.95 the one I paid, they told me that they don’t fix board they only replace it, and my air conditioning will stop again, I tried to explain to him that the problem not in the board it was in the connection on the board, he refused to listen and refused to refund my money back, but any way I’m so glad I called cost less appliance, heating and air conditioning company, and I will never let anyone else fix my air condition but them. I will refer all of my friends and family and anyone I like of course to them. Great job cost less I love you.

The worst ever!!! These guys came out and spent 15 minutes changing an $80.00 part and charged me $400.00. While the technicians were respectful and quick you can get work done much cheaper. When I called and lodged my complaint they said I should have done it myself !.. This is not a company you want coming to your house. They may sound cheap on the phone but they will find a way to get your money. Theres lots of solid places doing honest work so dont waste your time with this one..

I simply can not say enough good things about John and Josh who came to my house the same day I called about my refrigerator that had died the night before. VERY inexpensive service call, compared to all others in town. These two walked in my front door to the kitchen,..pulled out the fridge and within ten seconds announced what the problem was. Called to locate the part. Left. Came back within the hour and replaced the part. Absolutely FLAWLESS performance! I WILL be calling this company for ALL future appliance repair needs. Goodbye Urners and all the other pricey repair places that keep you waiting for DAYS! Five *****s!!!

HORRIBLE!! Do not wast your time trying to deal with these people. I had a problem with my oven and the first time they sent someone out the guy didnt bring the proper tools and suggested I call the gas company to come find the leak for him, and still charged me the service fee. I call the gas company and they were like any licensed contractor should have been able to do that for you. So call them up again and yes they will come out..wait around all day no one shows up. Call again the next day, yes they will send someone out. Again, no one shows up. Ok, Ill try one more time..3rd time someone does show up but again tells me yeah it could be this or it could be that...but call the gas co to make sure they have the gas flowing properly, which I do, and they do. Call Costless again to TRY to have someone fix my oven, yes...they will call me back with an appt. time. Have I ever heard back from them again?? No. Will I ever call them for anything ever again?? Most defiantly not!

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! If I could give no stars i would! I OWN a few properties and I was trying to get them serviced since it is 112 outside and the lady that answered the phone was beyond rude and refused to help me and then hung up on me! Absolutely disrespectful and unprofessional! I didnt realize that just because I OWN a few houses that doesnt qualify me to get services. WOW! I will gladly take my business somewhere else and tell my tenants that they have to go with AC because a company refuses to service MY homes.

Beware! I had to call cops last night on these mechanics....i called this company to service my AC and took them forever to come. I was quoted $69 for service call over the phone plus whatever else they do will be separate. I agreed to those terms. Upon arrival, the mechanics checked the AC and informed me that it needed Freon. When I asked the main tech person the cost of Freon per pound..he started with $180 to which i immediately said forget it and i called one of my truck ac repair guy who said that market rate for R-22 is apprx $70-$80 and those mechanics knew exactly what i was talking about...anyway i cancelled their services within mins of their arrival ..he asked me for service call pay to which i paid him cash $70 ..he started writing a bill showing a pending balance of 69$ to which i said whats that and he said house call was for only one ac and for 2 its $139.95...i took away the bills and asked the mechanic to get out of my house and he said he will not...i had to call 911 and request the police to come and sort it out..mechanic wouldnt leave at all...lady called and cussed at me like i was lowlife or something....she and her guys were million miles from being professional or courteous....very bad for doing business....they should be ashamed of overcharging needy customers ...they were trying to charge me 3 times what it normally what it would cost to put Freon.........FREINDS PLZ STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS..U DO NOT WANNA GET THINGS DONE FROM THEM AS U WILL BE PUNISHED HANDSOMELY BY THEM...PLZ CALL BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND STATE BOARD OF EQUILIZATION ,CITY OF BAKERSFIELD WHO ISSUED THEIR OPERATING LICENSE AND WHOEVER ELSE IS INVOLVED..THEY SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS AND WE SHOULD PROMOTE GUD NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESSES WHO WANT TO HELP THE BAKERSFIELD COMMUNITY...

Call this company to come out they did a service to my swamp cooler charge me almost $400 for it then something else went wrong on the cooler called them again they said that they had never serviced my swamp cooler then when I finally got them back out to look at it they told me that there was a problem with the bearings and then no showed on Me 3 days in a row no show no call I dont recommend this company at all when I finally had a different company come out the problem that they wanted to charge me for wasnt even a problem they said when they serviced the swamp cooler they didnt oil the bearings this company is lousy customer service and all they want is your money.
